We need a live album Yebba.
Spotify has the EP of this session. Check it!
@@andysarno1 let me use ya login, exchange for another service if need be
@@kinglee6614 lmao that’s real If they give it up 😂🙌🏽
!!!!!
iTunes has this session
Her live versions are like completely new songs, always. Love love love!!
This. That NPR concert was a joy for that very reasom
@@oatmeal4life441 I still watch it daily. Never gets old!
This is a better version imo
It’s cuz she’s a live wire n doesn’t ever sing anything the same way
@@drumslessons.greece imo as well
Her sound engineer got his shit on lock. They understand the dynamics of her voice, so intuitive. She's the only artist I prefer watching Live! She's a gentle fire, burns high without trying 🔥🔥🔥
I feel the same.
@@johnmolefe3380 mp
She is amazing. I like her without the engineering, honestly. She doesn't need it.
Yesss
Her lives are as someone commented too, a whole other song and it's so beautiful ❤❤❤
I wonder if she knows how much we love her
@@drprswan0111 So true!
What’s crazy is that she’s always soooo chill, like she’s barely even trying. Simply amazing every time, there’s no one like Yebba, I’m obsessed!
For facts!!
Best voice on earth
Agreed. People are talking about engineering, but she doesn't need the Ecco or autotune. She's a muse, different from the other singers since the early 2000s. I love her voice. I hate when they overproduce. Let that woman does what she does.
@@kengozin I feel the same. Such anointing.
she’s really not trying lmao. the more the video goes on and build the more you see she’s killing this shit with little effort.
I’m addicted to her songs. I can’t go one day without listening to Yebba. She’s amazing
Higgghhllyy agree with you.
Same
Honestly same!
sameee aaaaa
Yesss I watch her tiny desk every day!!
I can't place where her voice is coming from: not head, not mixed, not chest, it feels like it's coming from nowhere, from the heavens perhaps...
Her whole body, all of her is singing, up from her toes she's singing!
It sounds to me like it’s coming from her soul because I can’t tell either
@@lizmata6546 yes, it's like there is not a body there, music just flowing through her.
She’s a pk… so there’s prob some anointing in there somewhere.
Just spiritual. So beautiful.
QuestLove and Pino Palladino accompanying Yebba; a dynamic I needed to hear in my life
What a treat to hear this ensemble of expert musicians! Yebba, Questlove, Pino P, James F.....That high-quality sound is not one you hear everyday and is the result of thousands and thousands of hours of dedication to their individual instruments.
YES. I get emotional just by listening to this!
I thought that was Questlove!
Truth
It's LITERALLY SORCERY!!!!!!!!
And it looks effortless. Yebba is an exceptional singer... But... But... That groove in the background!!!!
“Remember us …
way before the time we fell.
It was all in trust.
Things we
Dreamed of
Even in our living hell
- given to us
It was all in trust
All in, all in, all
It’s all in us. “
thank you. was looking for this :D
this part hits different
Mark my words: I WILL SEE YEBBA LIVE SOME DAY. The tone, writing, delivery, all 1000/10 💜
where can we see her? I'll go anywhere.
@@elinacymerman2255 she said a couple months ago on her instagram that shes going on a tour soon 😳
Manifesting...Me too!!!Someday!
I would love to see her as well ❤
Jsyk...she's touring with John Mayer soon.
James Francies is her secret weapon, those keys
Smoove with capital V
The mix of a century
The band is impeccable. Feel, groove, and the mixing is outstanding. Pino, Quest and James butter. Yebba’s voice transcends

Whats the musicians names?
@@ashleylintez Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson on drums, Pino Palladino on bass, James Francies (Yebba’s Co-Songwriter) on keyboard 🔥
Pino Palladino on the bass is so locked it’s amazing 🤩
louie bag is a fucking masterpiece, yebba is the moment.
Well... this is gold. We struck gold people.
I’ve never experienced such a desire to watch someone sing…. It’s like watching a dancer or a painter. Mesmerizing.
Yebba is a beast, in everything she does. And THAT BAND?! I feel like you can tell a lot about a newer musician by the other musicians they bring into their sessions. Pino and Questlove?!
I'm SAYING! This lady is a f*cking gem. She's so fire.
Crazy right? Pino is the Bassists Bassist...?uestlove...Living Legends
it doesn't get any better than pino & questlove in the rythm section
I honestly think there’s no cure for my Yebba addiction. Obsessed with her voice.
takes a shot before singing and delivers so effortlessly. an actual legend.
She just can’t lose! Always on point!
It was a stormy winter
I watched the city burn
And ever since I can remember
That's just the way it hurts
And it goes on and on and on
Like I can never see the pinnacle of it all, it all
Put it in my Louie Bag, don't let it overflow
If they want some more
Friends are fallin' off, talkin' shit for no reason
It's robbin' season, season
They cut my palms with paper
Made from her Autumn leaves
I'm bleedin' out disclaimers
Into my family tree
Fuck the interviews to enterprise
I'd rather look into my mother's eyes
And let it be
So put it in my Louie Bag, don't let it overflow
Move it in and ship it out, tell me if they want
some more
'Cause I got that fire, it's comin' for them now
Friends are fallin' off, talkin' shit for no reason
Checkin' all my locks 'cause it's robbin' season
now
La, da-da, da-da, da
La-la, da-da, da-da, la, da, da-da, da-da
Remember us
Way before the time we fell
It was all in trust
Things we dreamed of
Even in our living hell given to us
It was all in trust, all in, all in, all, all, all, it's all in
Remember us, 'member the day before we fell
It was all in trust, all in, all in, all in, all in, all in
...
❤
Thank you kindly for the lyrics ❤
it's the way the live versions always one up the already perfect studio versions
This woman's confidence in her artistry is absolutely unmatched. I've honestly never seen anything like it. She knows she has it. She's absolutely badass. This quote about her inspiration for this song is EVERYTHING:
"“Someone said to me, ‘You have to make sure this is not going to make you bitter. Bitterness will rob you.’ And at the time I started that song I was in Resentment City, with all these labels trying to sign me and people pressuring me, telling me, ‘you’re never going to see a deal like this again,’ when I just wasn’t ready. So I said to them, ‘If you ever tell me I’m going to miss my chance or I’m going to run out of time, I will pack my bags and go back to Arkansas and I’ll quit singing. Because if I say I’m not ready because my mom just killed herself, then I’m not fucking ready. The answer is no.’ I don’t even own a Louis bag, but when I got my first check from publishing I wrote that line: “Put it in my Louis bag, don’t let it overflow.” It’s for any label that tried to sign me - for all those men talking to me like that. It’s me talking about all the confusion and the disarray I was feeling at the time, and delivering that right to their doorstep. I just sent those bad vibes right back to those motherfuckers.”"
WOW. That is queen behavior. Imagine being in your early 20s and knowing your worth to that degree. Her mama must have really been special to instill this in her daughter. All of that confidence and self-awareness comes through in her performances. There is no one else like her. Period.
For sure and Amen
How many times have you watched this?
Yes 🧍🏽♀️❤
Yes😂
Many
Many , Many! Her voice is just captivating!❤
Million I always come back here...
My favorite part is bull on the piano giving her that look when she start going ham 😂😂😂😂😂😂
when this came out I didn't know if my dad was going to make it.. i sat myself in front of the TV not knowing what to expect. by the last song I've never cried harder in my entire life.. such a beautiful take on loss
“Friends are falling off, talking sh*t for no reason”
The reverb on your voice is impeccable and The way you express yourself through music provokes so much thought in (my mind) 😅.
you aren't alone. Mad contemplation going on over here.
The groove is otherworldly, my dudes. The final 2 minutes or so of this song teleported me into a different dimension, and you can tell the musicians are feeling the same way. This entire project is on a different level - the mix, the video, the groove, the vocals as always. Surreal. Not of this planet.
I said the same thing. Thought it was just me. The piano bookends at the end are nothing I've ever heard. Hits my soul.
Every time I hear Yebba, tears. It’s like music gave birth to her.
Yebba, your voice really takes me back to my youger years listening to music like Zero 7 before SIA went solo, Koop before Yukimi was part of Little Dragon, Portishead and many others. Your music is now woven into the tapestry of my mind to remind me why music has been so healing for me. Much appreciated
Zero 7 and Sia made art ....Yebba does the same. So beautiful
YES!
YES. This has Sias Lady Croissant album vibe to it. I still listen to it today.
Playing Zero 7 right now!!!!!🙌🏾🙌🏾
Yes I love this comment! sia live album (lady croissant) is one of the best!!!! Music has always been my best friend 💕
the sweetness of her vocals goes straight to the heart - such a beautiful soul this woman has
This woman is revolutionizing music in a way that the industry has needed for a couple decades. There will only ever be one Yebba who can do it so naturally and effortlessly like this.
Discovering this has sent me down a deep rabbit hole, and I keep coming back to this again. Ten plays today? It's absolutely exquisite.
‘Checkin all the locks because it’s robbin’ season’
I love coming here and seeing that I’m not the only hooked on this.
I would love the stems from these recordings. Her use of effects on her vocals is out of this world
I love the wardrobe. No crazy colors, no skin....just hoodies, denim, and good music. Brand....schmand.... It's all about the music. Crazy five spot vibes.
I can't stop listening to this
On about 2 years of at least weekly, sometimes daily
Her tone is UNBELIEVABLE!!! Every sound that comes out this woman's mouth is devine!!!!!
The level of musicianship on display is out of this world. Thank you for taking me there for a lil bit.
So many colors in Yebba's vocal palette, she must have a hard time choosing so she uses them all ... The artistry in this piece is mesmerizing.
This girl's voice is crazy
Oh Lord, Yebba's voice just sends me to another world!!!! (Eyes Closed, Head nodding) 😌🙏🏽❤❤
she needs a bigger stage. People should not be slept on this masterpiece! what a vocal performance, the arrangement is top tier.
She's playing with Pino and Questlove, what bigger stage do you want :)
Quest was so hype
When I listened to it the first time I was literally hooked. Had it on repeat the entire day while I worked ❤
Such a technical singer. Yebba is gold.
Not seeing enough love here for the bassist. Pino is smooth as butter, ties it together so beautifully. This is probably one of the best modern day mixes I've heard. Kudos to this entire team, this is what decades of perfecting your craft sounds like ❤
She sings so effortlessly. I love her voice so much
The badass swig in the beginning. What a Queen. She does it too effortlessly.
Wooo, makes me feel like yelp dancing, alone in my living room at 3:33AM, in sheer celebration of life, ZORA & freedom! Love and focus 2 u all in 2025!
Her voice is so unique and her octave range is insane. It's like three singers in one person.
Yep. Nailed it. I feel she’s like jill Scott, adele, and Etta with her swagger.
i can not believe it´s her voice from min. 2.17 . must be a studiotrick .
Yebba is a huge inspiration to me and I WILL produce a song for her one day.
Dude! You really mean this hey. Because I saw your exact same comment on her previous video. All the best
Keep speaking it and all will see it is already done 😌🌻✌
That's right, claim it! 🙏🏽
The way they reignite and meld at 2:25 gives me goosebumps.
Me too and that subtle change in voice..perfection
YES
🔥🔥🔥
@@MTBVelocirapt I'd love to hear an album in that tone!
YES!!! The feeling!!! Makes my eyes water🥹🥹🥹
This song brings my tears on overflow. Love you Yebba
I can literally put this on repeat- morning routine with this repeating; then work day with this repeating; then evening routine and sleep with this repeating. Seriously.
I can listen to this on repeat (and I do). Chills every time, And usually tears.
Absolutely
Yebba is really one of a kind. And to surround herself with these amazing musicians is like the Avangers of Music coming together to make some magic happen, it’s insane ✨🔥✨
This comment passed the vibe check 😭🫶🏾
WOW, Absolutely beautiful voice, i've not heard any voice like hers
We all come here to listen this almost each day. No lies
she is an a hole other level , and the band omg .
Your live performances remind me of impressionist paintings like Monet or Van Gogh. Mother nature (your studio recordings) are already beautiful and impressionistic paintings (your live versions) are equally beautiful representations of your original work, making organic, spontaneous musical choices. So fucking gorgeous
irs otherworldly, it transfers me to another dimension, im not even myself
Yebba makes music for the empaths. Every single time I hear her sing I feel her in the deepest part of my soul.
What a jewel this is..Masterpiece,goosebumps.
I'm so excited for Yebba's new stuff coming out!!!
YEBBA, your live performances are TOP TIER! You take every song to another level! AMAZING! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I feel like I'm listening to art! It's everything!
This is what you'd call mastering your art ❤❤
Literally! It’s amazing
Yebba always outdoin' her own self when she does live versions.
I love how her live performances knock the studio vesrions out the park 🤍♥️
Yebba keeps me grounded emotionally like no vocal artist has ever done. Being a professional singer myself, I can't tell you how soul satisfying it is to sit back and listen to this artist paint a musical and emotional canvas. Much love to you, Yebba!
Yebba makes my soul happy. Hits a spot no one else can
Do you people know how posh we are by just listening to this DIVA?
So good it hurtssss.
I cannot get over what this song does to my mind and soul. It’s almost like a beautiful heartbreak. I lost my mom and “I’d rather look into my mothers eyes and let it be” lives rent free on my mind.
I was in a Yebba rabbit hole crying my eyes out and realized this was just posted. i love you so much Yebba, your music heals my soul. I listen daily and I can’t listen to anything else. Thank you. 💗
I simple. I see Yebba. I like.
She is absolutely outstanding.
I’ve been patiently waiting for the live version of this song and she never disappoints, her ability to make the live versions even BETTER is amazing.
The emotion in her voice brings tears to my eyes every time!
Same! ❤️
It's the way this song totally turns a corner @2:24 that just does it for me. I have listened to this EP more times than i care to admit...nothing in my library is better!
I love how she brings all of the other musicians in a freakn trance
“I’d rather look into my Mother’s eyes and let it be…” 1:33-1:39 😭💔 I feel you Yebba darling. I can relate. I lost my Mommy too.
Please explain to me, are these aliens? i really can't find any other explanation for this phenomena. Sublime, outta-this-world class, flawless performance.
I wonder if she understands the absolute power she possesses. I mean my gosh! She is phenomenal!
God this song is perfect. Feels like a cosmic modern old west tale
Oh am I the only one who hears Robert glasper touch?? Dopeeeee yebb... RESPECT
The best things are always birthed out of pain. People used to tell me to sing my way through.
This is so much better than the official version. Like a different and far superior song.
I’m so in love with this lady musically that voice is so marry me sweet
I have watched this video so many times. It’s burned into my psyche. So damn good
3:07 I melted. ❤️ everything about this moment! The notes she’s singing, how the bands playing, just perfect!
It’s like the she just came out of nowhere!
She is Hypnotizing! She is from another planet! She touches your soul on purpose! And I’m In here crying like a crazy man!!😢😢😢😭. That is something else man……🤦🏾♂️ Our American Adele! 🇺🇸
Yebba’s voice heals me - she’s just phenomenonal - fave voice in the world for me! Xx
She got Pino P on bass?! Hell yes!
Amo esta canción
뮤비의 감동과 라이브의 감동................손으로 부르네요......
Pino’s tone/playing here is other worldly! Nothing too flashy, but just fits the groove and song SOOO perfectly!
Best voice in the game
I’m pretty sure she uses her own delay/reverb controller. Which makes it even cooler cause she understands the the correct oscillation that compliments her voice at certain points of the song.
Absolutely. Glassy waters.
I once stood outside a concert venue listening to Stevie Wonder warm up by playing lovingly around with one of his well known songs... like a deeply known and familiar friend whom he could trust to track with all his twists, turns, and meandering detours...this live rendition reminds me of that...girl, there is “something more” to what you do~I pray it never fails to feed you the way of feeds us 🙏🏽
Effortless perfection! Amazing!
Yebba was my second most played artist last year. Almost guaranteed she will be my most played this year
