I'd argue that an M6 Billy massively outperforms an M0 Nekomata. At M6, Billy turns from an okay burst DPS unit into a solid F2P hypercarry on-field unit due to the many self-buffs he provide for himself, making him a viable solo character that can function perfectly without a team at all.
@GachaMogul I don't mean viable. But actually outperforms her. At M0, Nekomata's just really awkward to use. She's really dependent on a team, while M6 Billy is designed as an on-field unit that excels at melting both unstunned and stunned units so long as he doesn't get damaged. He's actually one of the few units in the entire game where he has so many self-buffs, they actually risk diminishing returns even *without* team members.
I’m not gonna lie, Billy is not all that. His DPS is pretty garbage. If we have to argue an M6 agent against an M0 agent, then it’s clear which is better

I absolutely love brute forcing or just fighting a single boss for a long time. i did this a lot in honkai impact with lvl 1 characters against high level bosses 😅

Let's address one point here. First is the idea that Ellen shines in a niche that Miyabi doesn't. That is just not true; if you replace Ellen with Miyabi in Ellen's own team (Lycaon/lighter + Soukaku) Miyabi straight up does 3 times more damage than Ellen was doing before. There is no scenario or team where Ellen outshines Miyabi Secondly is the Nekomata point. I'm someone who has mained Nekomata for most of the game; there is nothing in Nekomata's base kit that increases damage when hitting enemies from behind. Her bonuses from enemies behind comes purely from her M1 and her Signature weapon, so the idea that you should only be hitting enemies from behind is completely wrong.
People don’t play Nekomata and it shows, because no, stunner is an option and not a must at least on F2P level. She works well even with only Lucy and Nicole, and if she ever wants a stunner, Caesar is the best spot for it if you can’t 1 cycle the target. And she doesn’t have any buffs from attacking from behind, unless you count her M1 and S1 as a basis of your argument.

I started ZZZ with 1.4 specifically for Miyabi, who I have. The problem is that my tier list currently consists of Miyabi-Miyabi-and Miyabi... Cause I have nobody else. Which does get a little boring.
I think not considering Ceasar as a Phys support for the likes of Corin, Billy and Nekomata is a big oversight. Yes her class is that of a Def unit but she can act as a Stun/Support Hybrid for the Phys units by shielding them, giving them an Atk boost and helping them to more consistently trigger Assaults for the 4p Phys set. The fact that she can be the stunner for these units is a big push to their viability.
I wouldn't say Ben is underwhelming, he's moveset is just very simplistic. If you main stat Def% and aim for crit and def sub-stats, M6 ben can absolutely pack a punch, while still gifting a handy shield in a pinch

I have Rina only because Lighter hopped on his motorcycle and hurried away from my account. I need Lighter after I pull Evelyn. He's the reason I started playing.
I will throw my two cents in and say I actually find Soukaku stronger than Lucy at times. You essentially need to treat her as a mini damage dealer that also does support. Using her to stack ice anomaly on teams that don't have much ice is quite good, I've seen her freeze bosses in a matter of swings. Also with her mindscapes, her buff lasts 30 seconds, twice as long as Lucy. In short, her onfield time does more and she can spend more time letting the dps to dps things once she gives buffs. Also the ult changes have made reapplying her maxed banner buff sooooo nice.
It's definitely close and you can make a case either way! I just give it to Lucy for a bit more utility and teams overall, but soukaku is getting better each patch it seems too !
The Ult change has been a BIG buff for Soukaku, moreso than any other character I dare say. Being able to get all 3 stack and activate the full buff in one fell swoop, instead of her usual lengthy setups, has been a MASSIVE improvement.
Lighter and Qingyi on the same level for me for now. Qingyi's field time is way too long, only burst attackers will ever need what she offers and Lighter is a specialist stunner for both ice and fire so he is pretty much useless outside of it but both of them are strong in their own niche. But I can see Qingyi falling off once other specialist stunners come out. The only way attackers can compare to anomaly is if they can do significant damage outside of stun window and I believe Lighter's kit is the start of that. Short field time, buffs both characters on field and off field, can maintain buff/debuff uptime without needing to stun, and still gets additional value for stunning which is extending stun duration. Also, notice how harder contents have bosses recover from stun very quickly while also taking longer to get stunned? Yeah, no. Qingyi's playstyle is not gonna last. 80% stun multiplier for only like what, 5 seconds? and she goes back on field for another finger/mouse left click torture. It used to feel so rewarding when you finally stun them with Qingyi but now it feels like rushing for stuns is such a waste of time. Hoping Evelyn is an on-field attacker like Ellen with better multipliers and mechanics.
We will have to see what's the deal with our upcoming units!! I fully expect the meta to absolutely shift towards whatever they offer! I'm excited to see Evelyn especially, 👀

without her signature you have a catch 22. you either want to run an attack wengine with crit rate to help with her passive, or an anomaly wengine with a good passive effect. her signature is the only way you can get both her crit (which equals anomaly mastery) and a powerful passive effect

Hello everyone, I started playing this game not long ago, and I haven't quite figured out the rules yet, how to make teams in this game. I got some S and A ranked heroes, maybe someone could help me with some advice on what kind of team I can create with them?
Absolutely! In fact I just made a video about team building (feel free to check it out). Focus on a main DPS that matches the type (ice, fire, etc). Support agents are all pretty dang good and should usually be in the squad for great buffs. For specifics, what s ranks do you have?

@@GachaMogulit’s still a valid point though. You can’t say “x character outperforms Billy” if Billy can literally solo floor 100, yet the agents you say out performs Billy either need a team to shine or don’t have a proper team to go with them.
Ellen is below Zhu Yuan, Zhu Yuan keeps getting buffed and guess what? Zhu Yuan still doesn't have a dedicated team. Qingyi is not a good stunner for zhu Yuan. And ether stunner with stun duration increase is the best one for zhu Yuan. Zhu still hasn't reached her peak and yet she deals more dmg than Ellen and is far easier to build

Zhu Yuan needs Ether anomaly application to get crit dmg buff and she needs higher stun duration to finish her combos. Qingyi takes way to much time on field to let a support apply ether for Zhu Yuan.
I own and don't use Zhu Yuan. I own and use Burnice and Yanagi. I also own Miyabi and use her too. I own Lighter before getting Miyabi in her banner and Harumasa for free.

I really hate time limits, it is an added challenge but sometimes it is a reason why I cannot maximize my polychromes especially in deadly assault

best advice just try different agents like harumasa or try the f2p agents you can have a lot of fun with them
That can definitely be same-same when just starting out! As you keep playing, experiment with all other units too, even the A ranks!
