Agreed. It makes more sense. Although, I’d say it would’ve been better if they’d amped him up to make him more powerful than the Beasts. Used the werewolf venoms they collected to amplify Klaus’s abilities, make him immune to the beasts bite, and able to cure it just like any other werewolf bite, in essence an Original Werewolf to go along with being an Original Vampire. Basically like a Hybrid Beast. Rather than just one, one time cure. It’s more fitting & sensible. Especially considering how integral his werewolf side is to his story. I honestly wouldn’t necessarily say the beasts are even stronger then him. Klaus was able to keep up with them, and we never saw Klaus go full wolf in a fight. Simply by logic & reason his abilities would be at their peak as a wolf. It’s repeatedly demonstrated that the wolf form is the strongest form. A pack of wolfed out regular werewolves is enough to even overpower an Original. So an Original Hybrid like Klaus would be several times stronger. It never made sense to me that we never saw him use it.

Michael Narducci all confirmed that klaus is physically inferior to anyone with the best serum. When he fought beast marcel for the second time, he still got overpowered despite the fact that marcel wasn't trying to kill him or reason with him. Klaus is dethroned.🤷♂️

He’s The Original Hybrid, part of the family of first Vampires, and thus stronger than normal Vampires. Also due to him being a Werewolf too he has lycanthropic enhancements.
Bring back to you originals, and It’s Cannon universe, the legacy Just throughout the whole rolls of handbook, there is so much more that they could do with the originals, Plus it has the best mythology of the vampire werewolf & witches ONLY!!!. But everyone has come back from the dead in that universe like three times, so throwaway call legacies universe and that is the start of a beautiful trilogy/spin off upon spinoff & movies.

We basically saw a version of the world if Klaus turned off his humanity in legacies when Lizzie encountered a genie monster from the malivore pit. When Lizzie wished that hope was never born. In that dream Alaric said that klaus shut his humanity started a war and exposed the supernatural world in the process.
I respect Klaus for not pretending to be good, Elijah pretended I like the most Kol (xoxo) but honestly ,I wolud try to talk with Klaus ,not Elijah -I dont know why but I dont like him Klaus made me laught often ;)
