I have one of these ! GRS204 Facelift model. Its a very very good car ! Superb engine. The 2GR-FSE has both GDI and port injection. The dirt build up associated with GDI is negated by the port injection and the good mpg is achieved with the GDI. 0-60MPH in 5 seconds and 36 MPG on a long cruise. Brilliant cars and better still - nothing else looks like a Toyota Crown GRS204. They look different from all other Toyotas in the UK.
What do you think the 204 with the factory Tom's supercharger would fair 0-100? I watched a video of someone doing it but it took him 6.4 sec which I thought was very strange??
What is the top speed is it only 180kmh? I have a 2007 gs350 awd made for the north American market it does 0-100kmh in 5.7 seconds it has the 2GR-FSE in it and the top speed is 220 kmh will it also reach that speed or is it electronically limited
Because the Japanese law restricts not to exceed 280ps, as well as the bottom of the table can not exceed 180kmh, the bottom of the 13 generation of Crown sold in China is 260kmh, but in fact the highest needle turns to 240kmh, the actual speed is not up to 240, my highest step to 200, 5GR-FE, 2.5L NA
Hybrids are typically slower since most are economy vehicles. The very few cars which used the hybrid system to their advantage are performance/track cars.

powerful engine.
I love this video
She can really move, indeed.
hey please tell me tyre size and tire oressure ur running in this video,
Very fast!
Wow these are rockets with the 2GR. Might have to import one for a daily driver.
I watched this because I am getting one soon. Is this stock? That is very quick for a luxury sedan.
Definitely recommend, such a reliable luxury car for an affordable price. Most come fully loaded with tech you’d pay $$$ in a European car.
@@Pia-ho9dm yep seems stock. I have owned one since 2021. Been very reliable. Quick too!

Seen one doing 4.7 secs.
@@johnpaul5553 good thing I'm picking one up in a couple more weeks. 😁
Plz spill us the results!@@bentaylor3730
Probably mid 4s
Can verify that it doesn't, be lucky to break onto high 5's @@tescoshortage
athlete 200 2500cc 0-100?
I think this is not stock !! 2.6sec to 60 kmh 🤔 ? The description doesn't say it but it's been engine tweaked.
Mine actually behaves the exact same and stock as
My 204 is stock and gets the same times too
Most 0-60s are based on mph so this is very accurate
It is in Km/h
it is stock ! Mines the same and has factory exhaust / intake etc

This car being JDM means it is electronically limited to 180kmh
Because the Japanese law restricts not to exceed 280ps, as well as the bottom of the table can not exceed 180kmh, the bottom of the 13 generation of Crown sold in China is 260kmh, but in fact the highest needle turns to 240kmh, the actual speed is not up to 240, my highest step to 200, 5GR-FE, 2.5L NA
@@honmicheal8333 the 280ps thing was a "gentlemen's agreement" between car manufacturers and was not a law. it's also not a thing anymore.
Is this a completely stock 204?
Yes.
@@JDM-accelhub I'm guessing the 204 with the factory fitted Tom's supercharger (360hp and 498nm of torque) should do it faster? Maybe 4.5 to 4.7 secs?
@@JDM-accelhubthat is very quick, I am shocked.
0-180 14.5😨

this is faster than the hybrid. I thought hybrid should be quicker.

Hybrid is a lot heavier, yes it has extra power but the extra weight makes it slower
I don't think it's much slower. I think they are both very close.
The hybrid is a CVT these are a proper automatic
You’re right. The hybrid is rated faster by Toyota. My hybrid goes 6.2 seconds to 100. Probably needs a new battery to get the rated 5.4 seconds.
This is not accurate because when it hits 60 mark it is 10 kilometers below 60 also at 100 it's only 90 kilometers in hour at 180 it's like 165
可惜中国没有2GR版本的13代皇冠= =TFTM不当人,减配减到姥姥家了
My one has an is350 4.08 rear diff and does 0-100 kmh in 4 seconds flat
🤡
🙊
No it doesn't.
