    Thank you for doing these tutorials. I've not used AutoCAD for a while and yours are the clearest to help me found my way around with 2015 Mac version.

      Esther Wheatley Thanks for the comment. The Mac version functions the same as the Windows version but unfortunately is laid out differently which is where most of the confusion seems to come. You'll find equivalent commands for most things, you'll just have to hunt for them.

    I swear no matter how many tutorials I watch, how many tips and tricks I find, trying over and over...i just cannot wrap my head around autoCAD
    It's the most complex thing I have ever attempted to use, I'd love to have the skill (need it for class) but man, idk about this....

    Thank you for the tutorial. Could you please also be able to tell us how to add additional text lines into an existing attribute? The attribute I am talking about could be created as new if it was jus one. But it is in an existing drawing and there are hundreds of these already with data like measured areas in it and I need one extra information on it (of the room type ) into all of it at a time. How can I achieve this?

    • @3DJackFoster
      @3DJackFoster ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you still have this problem? I have programs that could help you. Unfortunately you will have to replace each of the title blocks as attribute information added to a dwg or a block does not update any of the other blocks within a dwg. Title blocks normally are one to a dwg. My program will capture all of the attribute data. You can erase and reinsert the revised title block. Then my program will repopulate all of the attributes in the dwg. Let me know if I you are interested?

    Cool. BLOCK writes the file to the drawing, WBLOCK writes it to a file. WBLOCK is best. I lost about an hours work... after a fatal error killed the work...my entire title block gone.

    Thanks and it is really very good how you explain things in clear voice, I use a program called CAD+T , it is a wood working program based on autocad, and I want to make my personal drawing template and sheets from an existing one and modify the title blog to suit, so how I can do that, thanks in advance

    Should't you have created a WBlock of the sheet rather than Block?
