Those Archangel Michael's were produced by Pobjoy mint which sadly closed up shop back in December 2023. Really sad. They'd produced so many unique and wonderful coins. Sadly they'd lost their licence to produce Isle of Man coinage.
Do you ever find some that are fake? Not from mal-intent, but maybe he bought some fake without realising? Eg i bought some silver krugerands on ebay, and not sure genuine.
Its a good question - I have had fakes come in they are usually very easy to spot. Anything dubious i run down a silver slide it does the trick. In all the years Ive been trading Ive had a handful of coins/bars that people didnt know better.
@@shaunoliver1703 i have a wee magnet to run down the coin, but not heard of a silver slide, unless thats the same thing. Its not the same between the britannia vs the krugerand. Anyway, my takeaway was to stick to reputable dealers like yourself!
Come on Shaun more content please. Backyard bullion is so far up his own backside he’s a joke. He’s always showing off his free coins from other mints. More sculptures as they are not coins. Good for him but bad investments for others.
Magnifiques pièces 👍
some great looking silver bullion, some pieces you don't often see. Hope the sales went well, thanks for sharing

So you’re telling me the 2023 I have is the last one they’re minting?
@@michaelangelobergeron5980 I would think so and I've seen premiums already for them.
i read something about pobjoy mint going out of business - it did raise an eyebrow because they had been around for years!
Thanks for the vid. nice Angel. Lovely. (I owe one )
You and me both! haha
Nice
Thanks
Put that lot in your trouser pocket and your trousers will hit the dirt. That's why I stock gold.
Its the natural progression
Hello, the royal mint have now issued the next tudor beast coin and it is a dragon. Do you like the design?
Nice selection of silver,🙆♂️, just a question, why are the Panda capsules convex?
Thats what the mint issue them in.
You have forgotten to mention if there is good money into the silver shield coins. I just wonder
Tbh - I don't think they are amazing - personally Id say the brand failed but I don't know how it is stateside.

@@shaunoliver1703 I'd be wary of relying on the silver slide test, as silver-plated pure copper will behave almost identically.
@@MrJibbleagreed. What test do you prefer, or do you just stick to reputable dealers?
Yes but the weight will be off. If the weight isn’t off the dimensions will be off 😊
2-1 swiss
We got away with it

Working on it - I will try and provide more consistent content :)
