Making A Difference This Holiday Season Through the Arts

Join us in watching children around the world making a difference as part of the Nora Orphanides Making A Difference Through The Arts program. We start with a visit from the Anne Hutchinson School in Eastchester, New York as students danced, sang and played musical instruments for the residents. Following the performances, students made beautiful cards for the residents and residents made cards for the students. Then join us for a great day with the Loukoumi Foundation after school programming at the Greater Ridgewood Youth Council at IS 77 in Ridgewood Queens and the Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens in Astoria New York, spreading holiday cheer through the arts to area nursing homes. We then travel around the world as children use their love of the arts to make a difference in Lake Como Italy, Puerto Rico, Seville Spain, Gander Newfoundland Canada, and Athens and Veria Greece and Uganda, Together we have shown that students using their love of the arts not only make a difference in the lives of others but in their own lives as well.
