It would be cool to see shots of you removing the hook. I'm a new fisherman and I saw you wet your hand before removing the trout at 7:02, which I believe you did to protect their natural coating of the fish. Would love to learn as much as I can from you through the videos. I've been fishing without barbed hooks because I don't want to hurt the fish in any way beyond catching them before releasing them back to the river. Appreciate the content!

Another amazing video Drew! Nothing like having the river all to yourself at “Dry Fly Paradise”! That female you caught at 7:15 was beautiful! Headed back to the cabin after Christmas to fish Crane Creek. If I was in Wyoming I would add just one more day before moving on. 😎 Thanks again for your Chanel and your great vids!

I live out there in the summers and have a friend that has a much smaller creek on his land adjacent to BLM land, so it is only fished once a year. I always do well and the cutts are just like those. You have experienced Nirvana now, Drew!

Nice! Those cuties were gorgeous. Next time you’re back East huntin wild brookies, look into the Monongahela National Forests in West Virginia. They’ve done a lot of stream restoration and if you like to hike , I bet you’ll get into some in the 10’’-12’’ range. 👍🍺
