That skippy garage sound is so satisfying - I didn't appreciate it growing up in the UK in the 90s, but was living and clubbing in East London during its revival in the early 2010s - good times! I need the Polyend Tracker because sooner or later my employers are going to find out I've installed several DAWs and about a hundred VSTs on my work laptop...

Unfortunately u missed the peak of ukg, if you started clubbing after around 2004 then the actual vibe and ravers u missed out on😢. The good old days of ukg were between 1997 and 2003, after that grime and hard style beats ruined the classic sound which ruined the nice 2 step/melodic sound producer's were going for, as an old head 😂😂😂 I feel the "pop" period of ukg killed everything.

I grew up with Tracker music in the 90s, playing Acorn Archimedes games with soundtracks originally composed on Amigas. I Recently played Lemmings - it still holds up! Around 2008 or so is when I really got into making music - and it was through trackers. There's something about the downwards way of doing thing that really helps me bypass the ADHD I have that really gets in the way of me composing. Just last month, I took part in a huge tracker "swap" project where we passed modules on from person to person! I was unsure about the Polyend Tracker until I saw one of my favourite youtubers and tracker Legends, Ms. Mad Lemon signing it's praises!

I am a student in the UK studying electronic music production and there is not a single soul on my course who is aware of this exceptional instrument. Owning this amazing tool would not only propel my own production, but also influence others who may wish to apply themselves to this workflow.

So smooth! That groovy rhythm brings back memories. Sounds like a classic Dem2 tune with a touch of j-garage, especially those chords.
I’ve never been lucky with these but I might as well drop a comment and hope that whoever wins makes good use of that beast of a device.
I used to produce bassline/jackin/ukg 8 to 15 yers ago. I’m Italian but there’s something magical about the UK sound. At some point in my life I was in touch with all my favorite producers (shut-out to Krissi B, to the Offmenut family and last but not least to Kanji Kinetic for all the help, both technical and emotional) and I hoped I would become like them, but life doesn’t always follow plans and after a couple of EPs I was forced to sell most of my stuff except for my monitors. Now I’m 30 and I’ve never stopped dancing, but sadly I stopped producing and I’m currently unemployed. I think I’m back on track with most things and while I’m still fighting with my bipolar disorder I feel like I’m back in control. I wish I could start again, they say you’re never too old, but I’m not in the best place financially. Never had a proper physical Tracker I could actually “feel”, and the Polyend Tracker looks dope. Something intuitive and yet with countless possibilities, which is what you need if you want to focus on the music and cut with the technical issues.
So yeah, winning this would make my personal history as a reborn producer and I would be forever grateful to everyone. Special gifts like this one don’t come often in your life.
And I know it’s so unlikely for me to get it, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed and I wish good luck to everyone with a real passion for electronic music. We’re brothers and sisters sharing the same dream and I wish for everyone of you to be able to follow your dream. Peace🤞💟

As a 90s teenager this was fun to watch, I am having a middle life crisis (and a recent ADHD diagnosis) and getting back into music now after abandoning it in my teens
I'm looking for a sampler to be able to do music outside my computer with a couple of synths that I own, I find getting away from the computer at the end of the work day and getting into music really relaxes me and I have a lot of recorded samples that are not being used cause I have to take them through my computer first! Oh also fascinated by granular synthesis so having that in that box too would be amazing!

The tracker strips back to the fundamentals of music making for me, you don't need a fancy studio to make awesome music, the tracker is proof of that. Record your samples, mash them up into bits and pieces and construct your track bit by bit. Make a track, maybe even make an album. Your music, your rules, the objective is to have fun doing it! Happy music making everyone ♥️

Hey ! I’m a great fan of Uk sound, come from the Mpc world and lately discovered how powerful trackers might be, from jungle, 2 step, grime, to trip hop you can have a glitchy sounds from a straight forward 4 on the flour beat. It might help to bring new flavor in my workflow. Thanks for sharing

Another great vid, working “out of the box” I rely on my 90’s sampler a lot, it’s powerful but vintage so it gets unstable after a couple of hours due to heat. It would be fantastic to move the samples to the Polyend Tracker and keep working, a modern and equally powerful machine. Impressive gear coming out of Polyend, it’s refreshing to see, keep up the great work.

Would love to give the tracker a go, any time away from staring at a computer screen for hours has got to be a good thing!

The Workflow with the Polyend Tracker looks amazing, i want to integrate that into my Workflow. Also the FX Section looks so good for Sounddesign stuff. Would be amazing to spend Nights with this gear and create weird beats :D

Never actually had a chance to play around with any tracker! The Polyend Tracker looks sick, would be cool to incorporate it as a brain in my setup with my modular gear :)

I like to make dense music with lots of sample based micro-edits, the kind of music suited to trackers but hate the idea of performing with a laptop. For that reason, the polyend tracker is pretty much a perfect sample workstation for me

The Polyend Tracker would be the perfect addition to my sequencer collection! Hope to win this so much Thomann :)

I'd love to have a polyend tracker because it seems great to make tracks while traveling, on the couch, or basically anywhere not in the studio (but also in the studio).

I have been very interested by the workflow a tracker gives you. I want to take a step back from DAWs to make some nice liquid dnb.
Love the content you’ve been producing, it really helps me get to know my gear better.

Nice tune! I would love to try the Polyend Tracker and among other things, use it to make some crazy Aphex or Venetian style breakbeats.
FastTracker II was my first tool for making (pretty crap) music in the 90's.

I am a typical avant Garde composer. I have never used a tracker. I am very interested on learning it and add it on my compositional pallet. 90s electro is the next big thing.

I just want to pair Tracker with Dreadbox Typhon to create some random and generative sequences for the latter. So in love with the midi possibilities of Polyend’s instrument 🤍
