My husband and I are shopping around for life insurance. We have some issues takin care of but not all. Gonna give this a look see. Thank You Daniel ✌️🇺🇸🇺🇸
That was an extremely bad analogy comparing cats to pigs.. cats are considered a predatory animal. Yes they (cats) absolutely kill birds and other animals. But comparing a feral cat in cities Is absolutely wrong because simply put cats also kill rats and mice that carry diseases that are harmful to humans. Cats are not land destructive. So using killing feral hogs with the analogy of feral cats. You're condoning that it is okay to kill cats. Which is absolutely not acceptable. I enjoy watching your content but this statement was horrible. There are other things that you could have said to explain what damage and dangers feral hogs bring. You might actually put your brain in gear next time before engaging your mouth. Think before you speak!!
I always enjoy watching you trap pigs, especially the large groups. I'm sorry that you had so much trouble, but you kept it up and WON! Have a great day.
I enjoy watching you. Even though things don’t go your way you don’t get too upset you just call it part of life. My son is so much like you. He doesn’t allow things to get under his skin he just takes it with stride.
So happy for you that the trap finally worked!!! If at first you don't succeed try try again... You finally got the big group trapped❤. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your blessed day XXXO 💕😁
Good job Houston! You caught it!!!🎉🎉😂🎉 Great job Daniel. 😂🎉 Patience pays off.😊😊 Thanks for showing that is rarely easy but comes with continuing to try & grow.❤
Hi Daniel and Family. Love watching yall catching hogs Great that yall helped catch the hawk. Not having much luck. That's a lot of hogs. God bless and love yall ❤❤
Houston is getting taller, and thanks for this video, I thought it was simpler than that. Shows that things don't work out as planed. Practice makes prefect.
Daniel I think you’re ready to graduate to their larger trap. Seems like as in Texas these sounders are hard to eradicate. They multiple like flees. Good luck and love the honest content. Cooler weather is a month away. 👍👍🤘😎🤘❄️🥶❄️
Whew! What a time you had! I’m so glad you got them! I believe I would have processed at least one of them!😅! Houston did a great job of catching the little ones!😂! I hope everyone is doing well! Lots of prayers for y’all! Love and blessings from this old Bama girl!❤❤❤
You showing the issues you've had just makes your channel the best. Thank you for your honesty. Sorry but I snickered at the trap gone wrong. This has been one of your more amusing videos. Do you not eat wild hogs? Lester has Trudy. Good job Houston.
It's good to see your son accompanying you everywhere especially during this stuff together.... nowadays you don't see many sons doing things with their dad or even if it's a daughter regardless it is a blessing to see this.... you have done a good job with him in raising him, showing him that life is not as easy as others put it.... It's a blessing to see you preparing him ..GOD bless you all....
Don’t give up just keep trying again and again.Danial just have to concentrate a little bit harder. God bless you and your family. Thanks for getting the hogs.we all have some off days
It's hot in Central Louisiana too 96 with heat index 108. Glad you got Hunter involved with tripping the hogs! He will remember this all his live. Love him catching the little pig. Great catch Houston!
oh the heart ache of things not going right! At least you were able to catch some boars. And yahoo Houston caught the two babies.Thank you for showing us the not so good trapping. You ended up with a good catch just the same! 🤗🤗💞💞💙💙
I feel your frustration on this project. I don't catch pigs but any project that doesn't go as smoothly as expected is frustrating. Glad that in the end it worked and the pigs were caught.
I sincerely hope that Houston keeps following in your footsteps. Even if he is gone for colleague I expect him to never say goodbye to the family homestead and the work ethics that you are installing in him. Your channel is one of the few that I really enjoy following because the contents of the videos.
Did you miss Houston saying, I’ll be back 😊He want get too far from Home. Gotta love that kid. Sometimes he is a regular kid. And there have been a few times I have seen a man reaching out……🇺🇸💞💞🇺🇸
What can college teach this young man? He's getting an exceptional education right now. Just read great literature to learn a good vocabulary, communication skills and the power of a trained mind. May l recommend the novel Ben Hur. Fabulous story. Exciting and reverant. And Robinson Crusoe. Thanks for helping even that chicken killer hawk. ✝️
I’m sorry to hear about your dad. I know you talked about it a couple of times but don’t wait until you’re 50 go away and get a check or reason I’m telling you I love your show. I love the contact you put out and I would miss not seeing you on the video, including your family and a little guy that’s growing up so fast I would love to meet your people. I think you’re a great bunch of people.❤️👍
I get you on heat and humidity. Today was 94 and 79% humidity. Not always so bad on humidity, but this has been extra fun even without rain. Would be better if it rained but my grass is tall enough.
It’s hot in Texas now! 105 in Central Tx and no rain for months! We understand! Our cows and sheep just want to stay cooler in the insulated barn. I love AC. My hubby goes out and I stay inside.😂
Daniel, I thought your facial expressions made this video. I was laughing so hard but still feeling empathic toward you as you worked through the problems. Thanks for sharing how everything doesn’t go as planned. Thanks for the laughs.
It seems from the camera angle that the poles were not vertically straight, aligned so when you drop the cage that's what may have prevented it from sliding directly down. Add some grease.
Daniel, a real man works hard sometimes and a real man sweats when he works. I am so proud of Houston! You are teaching him to know all about work and doing fun family things, you are a good example for any child! Love the video
Great Job Daniel and Huston!! It seemed like it took for ever! But glad you stuck it out!! Truly paid off to keep trying! 🐗🐗🐗🐗🐗🐗🐗🐗🐗🐗 love watching the 🐗trapping!
You did the lady and the hawk a huge Thank You Daniel! Honestly I don’t know what your community would do without You. Houston in your tracks. I’m proud of the Arms Men🇺🇸 Daniel I have known you now for many years, socially from the YT community. And Daniel after I finished watching you working to get those stinky wild hogs off your green lush fields of food that is for Your Wildlife, I was wishing I could shake your hand. The closest I can get from here is a virtual 🤗 And to say, your dad is very Proud of his Son. I want to add a few words. But can’t seem to do it. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🤲🗳🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Oh Daniel, what in the world lol! Thank you for showing all the struggles, cause life is messy. Always keep it real. Thank you for showing if you keep at it, you can achieve your goal ❤.
Don’t feel too bad if things didn’t go right right away or as you planned them, it helps other people to know that their heroes are actually fairly human. And that everyone has a little trouble and some setbacks in their life. Personally, I think it made for a better video.
Please l could use prayers for my mom & sister with upcoming surgeries next month. ME as well taking care of them both. Yikes. God bless you all and many prayers 🙏🏻 Nurse Judi in Scottsdale AZ and Eucharistic Minister 🙏🏻
Hello, guys was just watching Jason over at Cog Hill and got to see Jesse for the first time since her move there she looks so good and they were just loving on her. So happy she is living her best life.
The hogs have exploded in numbers everywhere. Even with the problems you had with the trap, they're really effective. I wish there was a place near Victoria, TX that would take hogs like you have there. I've driven up on roadside parks with 20 dead hogs laid out. That would have fed a bunch of people. Great video sir! Keep getting those porkers!
I did a search on why hogs have curly tails and it was very interesting. The theory is that pigs with curly tails are descendants of Chinese fighting pigs that were bred for competitions, and the curl helps to prevent other pigs from biting off long straight tails. Interestingly, it said that most wild hogs in Texas reportedly have straight tails like domestic pigs in the US. I'm not sure why some tails curl to the left, and others to the right, as Daniel caught hogs with tails curling both directions, so I've got another searching to do on that. Looks like the function of swine's tail is for swatting flies and body language communication. May God bless the Arms family.
Great documentation Daniel. I think we should share more of our struggles bc that is what we learn from. We learn loads more from mistakes than we do successes. Yes success can motivate us to keep going but learning happens through failures. Great job to stick with it. Loved seeing that you did finally get the big group. Great job Daniel.
Thank you for the reminder that I'm not the only one that makes mistakes in life. I get pretty down on myself, so I've really needed this reminder. This was so much fun to watch! You sure know how to put a smile on my face! Thank you for sharing! With prayers, love and gentle hugs for y'all and your critters too......Donna in Florida.
That green wire you have hooked up, I would change it around because the green goes to green and the clear part of the connection wire goes to your latch. The reason why is because the it’ll light up red when it’s activated so that’s how you know you have power going to the latch. I have many of times forgot to remove safety pins, winch cables, or have a fully charged battery put into the trap. You got this man! Keep up the great work and keep the videos coming!!
I know that it was extremely frustrating for you, but it was enjoyable for me. The grass has gotten really tall. I differently like these videos here - than the fishing ones!

Hi Daniel
Should test the trap that it drops and works before you leave it set.
I know the guy who uses that same trap got 100+ last year not moving the trap. Just watched every day. Never getting little ones
I know that it was extremely frustrating for you, but it was enjoyable for me. The grass has gotten really tall. I differently like these videos here - than the fishing ones!
Your little boy is growing up, Hang on he'll be off to College quicker than you will ever think. Enjoy!
So glad you caught the big group. No one is perfect. Only Jesus was perfect. Great job.
Everything is a learning curve brother. Appreciate your humility. Hot weather is brutal with older batteries. Keep on
trapping.
Dan, what you have now, compared to what we did 40 years ago, is like the difference between wet and dry! Glad you didn't give up, must have been very frustrating, but all worked out well in the end.
