My church bazaars when I was a kid in rural PA was only near Thanksgiving time and most items were handmade and also homemade foods and desserts to buy. I no longer live there decades gone by. They have probably changed with the times. Good memories from long, long ago.❤😊.
Church sales seem to have really low prices. Great finds Kat!!! (tomorrow I'm off to Cardiologist because surgery is 16Feb-bladder cancer) Thank you for taking my mind off from this hellish month!!!!! Love your thrifting! Debbie T.
And as far as swim trunks. My husband is very very picky. There are many that he’s had that just feel horrid. His favorite brand is billabong. Very comfortable and it’s the only one he will wear and we spend the summers at the lake, so be on the lookout for billabong. They will be a hard one to find.
At 30:56 was a gold thing that was labeled Rival. I believe that’s a bread & cake insert. They are consistent sellers at $15 for me. Often find them for .50.
That little red and green bib went to the stuffed goose didn't it? I didn't take the time to go back and look but that's the first thing that came to mind.
Nice video. I'm curious if you end up with a lot of stained items once you open/unfold them to process them. Do you check for stains on clothing/linens before you purchase them? You seem to find a lot even when you go late to the sales. That's great!
I look over quickly but not thoroughly. We end up with some it's not much maybe 10% . If stained bad I just toss it but if not bad and items worth it I'll list and notate it
I just watched a reseller and he said those Bahama Hawaiian print shirts sell like hotcakes. You did not pick it up. But we learn as we go. Just keep in mind.
Do you have a video on how you keep up with your inventory? Do you number each item or put them in bins with like items I.e. purses, kitchen, etc.? Thanks
Hey, Kat. a few women's brands: Lululemon. Athleta, Torrid, Levi, Everlane, Madewell. Orvis, Nike, Kate Spade. I have a little notebook I carry with lots of brand names in it for all kinds of stuff. Just too much to remember! Happy Thrifting. 😊😊😊😊
That is a great idea!!! I'm gonna put a little notebook in my purse. What about Liz Claiborne or any of those Macy's/Dept store brands? I do know about luluman... or however it spelled. Only because I have friends who thrift that brand. I feel like I don't have the patience to look through clothing. Especially when the racks are packed super tight
@@katstreasurehunting Frizzy’s Finds has a great video about BOLOs, and it includes women’s clothing ones. She also has an earlier video that discusses women’s clothing brands that are on their way out (and in, I believe).
I LOVE this church sale! I got over 40 pairs of shoes there for $1 each last year. I was unable to go this year, but as soon as I saw your video title, I just knew it would be this one. Now I know what I missed this year! lol
The Kindness Matters plate was Redware I believe especially when you showed the back of the plate as they almost always have sayings on the back .. they can sell for 30 to 100$ a plate or so ..
You should always check the women’s leggings for such brands as Lululemon, Fableta and Atleta. Also woman’s sports jackets from those same brands and Nike are good.
Maybe bring a big shoulder bag, and just stuff things in it, you want and or want to look up. Does Dalton have a wagon? Could get a canvas one, and use it for thrifting and him as well
Great pick- ups for bargain prices. Men’s golf shorts/pants that have that elastic waistband on the inside, that makes it kinda sticky, is popular because it keeps their shirt from coming untucked. I prefer to sell men’s clothes myself!! The HUK could have been good. Great video.
You can search Facebook marketplace and craigslist. When I find them I like to set a reminder for the next year because most of them have them the same time then you can call the next year
That jewelry brand was no great shakes . Dont let womens clithes scare you. Brands are one thing,,,, but try focusing on design. It will get easier watch for womens things like you do for me. Vascation and or tourist. Just like sxrubs. Bigger is better. 😊
Kat, I prefer this type of in the field thrifting video far better than the other format of you with other thrifters talking at us.❤😊.
I don't meet up with others very often that was the first time I'd seen them in 3 years so you won't see that type often

OMGosh! Church sales are my absolute favorite!! Glad you found so many great things!
Yes they're great!
I liked the little knitted handmade doll that was really colorful and priced at $1.00. The OOAK stuff is always good to find.
Yes for sure!
Oh my, great fun !! ❤
George the Antique Nomad's channel is good too ❤
Yes he's great super knowledgeable
Kat, my church has two very large sales each year. Next one is November 7-9. Lady Lake United Methodist Church.
Lady Lake
If you remind me closer I'll come check it out!

Oh yes I've had her on my podcast I'll have to check her out, thank you!

I love linens too. I’ve had a lot of luck pre-soaking stained items in Biz. TFS! 💜
Thanks for the tip!
I don’t cast aside the dress pants. Sometimes there’s some Duluth in there and some other name brands that are awesome.
A Easy Grab On Womens if it is cheap would be anything leather , wool 100% & Silk .
Thank you
Hi Kat❤️Throughly enjoyed this trip to a church rummage sale. You seem very upbeat and had me cracking up. The linens made my day!
Glad you enjoyed!
I just watched a reseller and he said those Bahama Hawaiian print shirts sell like hotcakes. You did not pick it up. But we learn as we go. Just keep in mind.
Not all sell good. I've had some listed a couple years
Do you have a video on how you keep up with your inventory? Do you number each item or put them in bins with like items I.e. purses, kitchen, etc.? Thanks
I do on my other channel is a bit old but we still use the same system. Here is the link th-cam.com/video/anZ9juUa8iw/w-d-xo.html
You missed a HUK shirt on the 1st men's table, a fishing bolo.
Thank you 😊
I love the goose for a quarter!
Yes so cute!
The very first ladies table had a,Chicago blackhawks t shirt. 😊
Do those sell well?

Darn it I saw a pair of Lindsay Phillips switch flops in that middle shoe table. For a dollar? They sell for over $35.
I only sell/sold mens Hawaiian/button down/polo shirts thats it,,,
Interesting sale!

Yes it was for sure!

Hi Kat A Few clothing brands that sell well for me are Susan Graver and Quaker Factory..enjoy your videos!
Thanks for the tip! I appreciate it
I do the same thing, just pretend to look at the clothing!!
Lol 😆 🤣 😂
You did great! I love love church bazaars! I haven’t been to one in a while. Haven’t seen any lately. Those are first pick, then garage sales…
Yes for sure they're first
Ine last thing. . I wear golf SKORTS all summer.

When you picked up that ugly little weird doll/puppets, you skipped over a very beautiful pink, vase, or perfume bottle?
I normally put ikea bags in, but forgot the last two times lol
Oh I didn't notice it!

Is the candle gurly?
It looks like one but no sticker. I just sold some Gurley last week !
Really dont enjoy looking at table after table of clothes. Move on since you say you dont know much about brands.
If you don't enjoy feel free to fast forward or find someone who doesn't look at clothes :)
