They destroyed the local culture there exactly as colonisers do to the Philipine one up to this day. What even worse,,your Cordillera was named by Conrado Balweg the rebel priest. He must had been on the coloniser's side, otherwise he would have named the mountains as the Igorots called them. Your heritage is not being preserved, on the contrary. Your national identity is being destroyed. The best example is Kiangan hymn sung in American !!!!!

These junk foods, plastic etc. National identity is being lost. Local languages disappearing and dissolving. Parochial and missionary schools hammer into young heads English and God.
