OH MY!!!! THANKS to my brother Joel for sharing this with me!! How wonderful! [I haven't smiled like this in.....[ ? how many days have we been locked up???....] ? days! Nevermind what a spectacular persformance!!!
Lots of EQ and noise gates on the individual tracks to begin with, then routing them into appropriate groups and applying gentle compression wherever needed
@@AdrielGeorge No noise gates and remarkably little EQ, actually. I'm not saying I shouldn't have used them (there's a TON I would do differently now) but the main things I did were: syncing everyone up in a DAW, using compression to gain some dynamic control, panning and fading to stage the orchestra. The process of syncing resulted in the overall tempo increasing slightly, so I then had to sync everyone's individual videos to the mixed audio track. The audio took about a week of work, and the video editing about another week and a half. It was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun.

The best musician: the bombo player. Love it!!! hahaha
I plucked along to the whole thing. We learned this song in 7th grade last year and it was a lot of fun! The high schoolers taught us
Kudos to the conductor, musicians as well as the audio & video editors! Highly entertaining and the editing was truly superb!
Very fun, y'all. Nice to see the faces and hear the sounds of Sinfonietta :)
Tina with the lipstick and triangle solo 🤣
Oh, dear the percussionist at the end of the video, it would not be ‘The Typewriter’ at least. 😂 It was so much fun! I like it!
Wow! Thank so much to all of you performers and to the video editors who make this such a pleasure to watch and to listen to!
Thanks!
Lol at the guy playing the violin like a guitar, I used to do that with this song when my high school orchestra played it in class 🤣

How does one clean up so many individual recordings so the resulting track sounds clear? Asking for a friend. Who works with a symphony.

The woman who plays the triangle was just like: 😑 while waiting for her moment
