thank you so much for the in-depth analysis of the lyrics, I know that a lot of people are thankful towards the fans who quickly translated the lyrics but they just didn't do justice to kyungsoo's abilities (even my try at translating the song wasn't good enough). The little nuances in the language that they didn't manage to catch and how the meaning and intent behind each lyrics were all left out in the hurried translations was upsetting, In some ways it was quite frustrating to watch as many people misinterpreted the lyrics, especially in a song where someone who normally doesn't speak out about his feelings, had finally written his thought down in. I see that's why the other day I was watching a Korean reaction to this song and they said it was like the opposite of 안 괜찮아도 괜찮아, I guess that is a more common expression? I also had some difficulties translating the lyrics' whole meaning. As a non-native speaker, I understood many lines on their own but I had difficulty determining where the lines (and therefore the thoughts) were separated. As you said, the nuances were hard to grasp. That's why I hope SM will release the official translation that will let us understand the song the way D.O. wanted it to be understood. Since the people that helped him on this song and heard his songs are from SM, they would know better than us. This song suits him so well, he always says he isn't good at expressing his feelings during interviews so putting them in songs seems to be a really good way for him to communicate as he can think about the message for a longer time before showing them to the world.

"괜찮아 괜찮아도" = It's okay to be ok (just the order of phrases has changed in korean) / it's okay it's okay, 'doh'. ('doh' means d.o.)
