    The ID range for Modbus RTU devices is from 1 to 247. ID 0 is reserved for broadcast messages, where the Master can send a message to all Slaves simultaneously. The ID assignment is typically done during the configuration of the devices, and it's important to ensure that there are no duplicate IDs within the network.

The wiring should be consistent across all devices in the network to establish proper communication.     Device Connections: Multiple devices can be connected in a daisy-chain configuration. Each device has its own unique Modbus address. The A and B lines of one device are connected to the corresponding lines of the next device, forming a chain.
    Twisted Pair Wiring: Two wires are used for communication: one for transmitting data (A or "+" line) and one for receiving data (B or "-" line). These wires are typically twisted together to minimize interference.
    Grounding: It is essential to establish a common ground between all devices to ensure proper signal integrity. Connect the ground terminals of all devices together.
