@@dianapopescu8526 if you are laughing at the prospect of these girls making the team final then why are you even watching this video? (there are 12 team, falls happen, any team here has the possibility of making it. It comes down to who has the best day)
I think the foreign coaching with bars as the main event is the best so far. I am kinda paraleling Preda with Holbura. They were both pretty equal imo. Holbura having trained mostly beam and floor it did pay off, but not like when Preda is training mostly bars. From an AA perspective sure, Preda scores a point lower on fx, on VT they are equal and on beam it is about who has a better day(even tho it is unfair for Holbura as she trained a really hard skill, the back tuck 1/1), but on bars Preda wins. Even taking the ub from 2021 for Maria, Preda still wins in an AA. And they were pretty equal I think in terms of potential. I am just wishing they wpuld upgrade Preda to a DTY and an E pass(maeby the judges would give her a 13 then) and then she could make an AA final at least at euros. I am also thinking of ghigoarta. I am so glad she did not waste ages training that back tuck 1/1 that all romanians had just to score a 14(at best) on beam and an 11 on bars. The only ones who can manage the ro old training is Sabrina because she had all of the hard skills come early, but if you have a gymnast who can't come up so early with both a Silivas and anything above F on beam then you just waste precious time that could be used on bars.
This coach has a mind of his own; in the golden ages of Romanian gymnastics, and in the international elite gymnastics nowadays being 16 or 17 years old is not a handicap. Sandra Izbasa was 17 at Beijing - FX gold with 5 sets of diagonal tumbles. Andreea Raducan was 16 at Syndey - 4 sets as all competitive gymnasts have these days. Amalia Ghigoarta has only 2 so far, whereas the others have 3. Girls should not wait until they get to 25 or 30 as Simone Biles and Rebecca Andrade are exceptions. They should look up to Kaylia Nemour 17, Qiu Qiyuan 17, Zhou Yaqin 18 etc. Sabrina, with a Romanian coach is the only gymnast who can get into finals - BB and FX.
In the "golden age of Romanian gymnastics" gymnasts were starved and beaten. Hardly any competed past age 18 or 17 besides Ponor and Izbasa because they were physically broken. Now your mad a coach is pacing his gymansts so they compete safe elements at age 17 and prioritize their health and longevity in the sport? Romania is by far the youngest team at this olympics with 17.2 average age. This is not something to brag about, but something to be ashamed about. Why aren't there Romanian gymnasts in their 20s and 30 competing like all the other teams? Because they have been emotionally abused, pushed through injuries, had mismanaged injuries. Since you think Camelia is superior because is a "romanian coach," then let me ask you, why couldn't any of these Romanian coaches get a team to Tokyo? get gymansts to continue past 18? Why couldn't the Romanian coaches Forminte and Cosman keep a girl healthy and transition a gymnast from junior to senior? Many gymansts competing at this olympics will have 3 tumlbing passes. This is normal and how the COP works. Jess Gadirova was WORLD FLOOR CHAMPION with 3 passes, Sunisa Lee was OLYMPIC CHAMPION with 3 passes. 4 passes isn't everything, Puflea had 4, same D score as Amalia with 2, and scored lower than Lili, Amalia, Preda, and Ana on floor with 4. Learn the COP, your argument about the number of tumbling passes shows your still following an old COP. Many gymansts are peaking in their 20s like Alice Kinsella, the majority of medal winners and finalists at the world stage are in their 20s and early 30s like Sanne.
@@Romaniangymfan07 The problem is the mediocrity of the coach rather than the young age of gymnasts, as exemplified. At soccer, these wanna- be coaches would be fired fast. Sunisa Lee was a champion at 18 etc. Romania will not have another gymnast in the event finals moving up from qualifications in Paris besides Sabrina, no matter how loud some may scream about her choreography. However, we will all cheer for all the events of the girls, especially Ana and Lilia, hopefully in the AA event. I doubt we'll see anyone else from the team in LA but I hope Patrick will be the first to leave due to his outstanding performance!
@@lauradumitrescu4192 Since you think Patrick is such a terrible coach, who do you suggest to replace him? You think all Romanian coaches are so great, and yet what other examples of great Romanian coaches can you give besides Camelia? (who is only interested in her own daughter and ruined the career of Melisa) The Moldovans' gymnasts are constantly injured and their construction is awful. The Constanta coaches have first year seniors who are competing below a junior level on bars and scoring in the 10-11s average on all events in 2024. Steau coaches are terrible and those girls can't do a proper cast handstand on bars. Why are you saying no one from this team will go to LA? its like you want all girls coached by the Dutch to quit? Amalia and Lili litteraly said they would train for LA
@@lauradumitrescu4192 I case you didn't notice the Romanian Golden days were 24 years ago, the sport has changed. You just need to look at the teams. Romania is by far the youngest. No, Rebeca and Simone are not exceptions. The entire Dutch team is over 20, the USA team has 1 gymnast under 20, Ellie Black, Becky Downie, Flavia Saraiva, most of them are over 20... What took down Romania was the blindness to change as they kept burning out gymnasts. Alice Kinsella is the same generation as Denisa Golgota. Flavia Saraiva as Laura Jurca. Alice D'Amato as Ana Puiu. Filipa Martins as Larisa Iordache. The Gadirovas as Stanciulescu and Sfiringu. Jordan Chiles as Ioana Crisan. Yet, guess who burn-out and is no longer on the scene, the Romanians. The sport has changed. I can tell you now that Romania would never make it to Paris if it wasn't for the current team. Barbosu was already looking burned-out at the 2022 Jesolo, just watch. And by "the team" I am not speaking just about Patrick and Daymon, but also Corina & Florin + everyone who was trying to break the cycle of squeezing the gymnasts until there was nothing left.
Love team Romania good luck in Paris❤🇷🇴

I don’t feel him and don’t like him. He looks like arrogant

I missed the iconic white leotards with Romanian Flag Colors
C'mon girls, I hope you'll get into the team finals (last eight).
