You CAN at Bristol, it's just not recommended due to the angle change. It usually spins people put at places like Bristol, or it will eventually wear the corner of your tire out. Basically in real life it's definitely not recommended.
You most definitely can pass off of the “racing surface” at any track other than Daytona or talladega. Watch a race at Phoenix especially. They got WAY below the track in what’s called the “dog leg” he is 100% right. However, most tracks, if you try to do it in the corner, due to it being flat below the line, and banking above, you will very likely lose control.
Trevor, please do the career mode on this game! It’s really fun it would make a great series and I would love to watch you play it.

You should definitely be doing iracing. Its an actual simulator.

you should do a race at Darlington. It's a unique track where the best line is right against the wall.

Bristol racing videos are usually a cringefest, but this one actually gave me life! Most folks are a hot mess on this track, but this person brought their A-game.
You CAN drop onto the apron on most tracks (can't at Daytona and Talladega) but hitting the apron like that will make your car want to spin out unless of course you're assists are turned up high. Plus, for an added challenge, turn the tear wear on/up. You'll start fighting harder as soon as they start wearing.
I want you to do the career. This game is awesome, I would like to see more racing instead of bullying your way through but it was fun and crashes are awesome. I like the new settings

The career mode in this game is so fun though theres no story really but its basically a underdog story you literally start from the bottom and work your way up

U should try using different lines, for example the lane closest to the outside wall is the fastest line at some tracks, it works really well at Bristol

I havn't played a NASCAR game since PS1. Looks fun to actually be able to spin people. Older games you could smash the corner bumper at 200 and NOTHIN!!! I think I would just wreck everyone in this game.

You can cut below the line on certain tracks but not all of them. Bristol is one where you can cut

Also, you have to let the car roll through the center more, use less brake, use the weight and banking to help the car turn
Trev you gotta try out Pocono aka the tricky triangle, also Texas at night it's basically all throttle there

Also the bottom of the track is called an apron. You technically can pass on it but irl youd most likely spin out and take out whoever you were trying to pass with you lol
