Great episode! As an elementary teacher, I’ve been thinking about doing live events with kids and this inspired a lot of ideas. I rap and speak, and I’ve done live shows before, but never pursued it full time. Had great reviews and kids think I’m funny so rethinking my strategy and incorporating a more fun/entertaining one hour set could be gold! Gotta think about my audience and who I should commit to…k-8, HS, college? I’ve had success with all age groups. Leaning towards college tho cuz the school I’m building is called Mindset University. You guys should look up Rudy from alpha investments who runs a multi-million dollar trading card and content business. He is a master marketer/goofball and makes a ton of money from youtube and selling a $15/mo patreon subscription for access to purchase trading cards. Multiple games have printed his likeness on cards, and he often sells out of product in hours or even mins.
