I had no idea porcupines were so sociable. Surprisingly charming and cute!
Years ago I had a Quaker Parrot that I got very young. When he(?) started testing his wings, I helped him learn to land with a little game where I would gently toss him at his cage with the perch on top and he would land. He loved it and became a master aviator. He didn't crash into things like most pet birds.
I love how Kizmit's quills makes it look like she's wearing a tu-tu. Soooo cuuuuuute.
I've been watching a lot of the BirdTricks TH-cam channel lately, which makes me wonder, will you ever (or have you) train any of your birds for free flight outside?

I appreciate your opinion on clipping birds. Working at a rescue, I get A LOT of questions and critics thinking it's "cruel" to clip. Believe me, if we could keep all the cockatiels and macaws and our raptors unclipped I would be so happy! However, we have had instances of guys flying away, or crashing and hurting themselves. Some can, and we keep them fully feathered. It's refreshing to hear someone sharing my views. Loved your video as always! Maybe I can do something just like this. It's a dream job for me. Thanks!

My pineapple conure is in a bonded pair with the non-pineapple one so seeing those two I keep thinking of the ones I deal with. It's interesting to see how different their personalities are, not just between themselves but between the four of them.
One of them doesn't like other people too much (beyond the one they chose) but will go on anyone if the other is with him.
The other loves almost everyone but loves their chosen human so much more, dropping everything to go to them.
That quill skirt is so cute.
My green cheek conure, Phoenix is like a mix of Ginger and Maui, he loves cuddles and head scratches, and he also loves to hang upside down on my finger, in his cage, and on towels. I call him bat bird. He also only really likes me, and he just tolerates most other people.

Love the little birdies. Not sure if I'll own any again. But if I do maybe I'll pick something more like these cuties. Had budgies before, one was a great flier, and he would always encourage the other to come fly around, but his friend was a little clutzy so he usually stuck to walking or stay in their cage.
I prefer working animals like a cat for catching the occasional mouse or a dog to wander with outside and warn me of larger animals approaching. They were always super happy and seemed more fulfilled with what my family could provide for stimulation.

Have you tried giving snow to the animals? Of course just the ones that will not be hurt by it and might enjoy it.
Maybe the ravens. When I was little my neighbor raised a crow and when it snowed for the first time it tried to hide a block of snow in the snow. It was looking like it had fun. Maybe the ravens will enjoy snow, too.
