On your Fire Stick go to Settings, 'Equipment Control', 'Manage Equipment', then 'TV'. Once you select 'TV' select 'Change TV' you will select 'Change TV' again and it will update and connect to your current TV and have you ensure the power and volume buttons work.

My ROKU TV won't show my HDMI PORTS and I can't find a way to find them. It does not find firestick in search either. My own TWO selections in Power are System restart and Auto power savings. THAT's ALL. FRUSTRATED.
Can't get it to work for anything...CRAZY, whenever I try watching a movie using my Firestick on my ROKU TV, which I can not get the Firestick to Pair with the TV to turn it on and off or adjust the volume...The Screen will turn Black, but the Movie Sound keeps playing....in order to fix it Temporarily, I pause the movie on the firestick, then turn the Roku TV OFF and then back ON again. Then switch it back to my Firestick and the Movie starts playing again....sometimes for just a second or two and the screen goes black again, the sound keeps playing and I start over again...Makes it Impossible to watch a movie on my Roku TV! IF I take my firestick and hook it up to my older tv that is Not a so called "smart" tv, it works just fine. This is seriously Burnin My Cookies!

Still saying having problems connecting have another smart tv downstairs and that is connected to cable was trying this before getting rid of everything but something not right only get Netflix and Amazon prime channels on Roku
