@@reav3rtm I repeat: where's the apocalypse? I have only noticed a pandemic of a so far not very deadly disease, there's nothing apocalyptic about that. Yet.
I know exactly what you mean. The "Remain Indoors" sketches could easily be adapted into one of the most disturbing post-apocalyptic movies/series ever.
i think it was on would I lie to you that david said he wouldn't want to survive a nuclear war since it would probably be thousands of years before panel shows started again and he wouldn't know what else to do...i find the event sketches funnier because of this
So in the uk how many ads do you get for a 30 minute time slot on TV? This seems like the show itself runs for like 28 minutes. In the US our 30 min slots have about 21/22 minutes of the show and the rest is ads! And its more if its a rerun, they speed it up to fit more ads
@revilo412 I know, and I try to appreciate the difference. But really they function the same way from our perspective. I just think their material is so funny without something telling you when you should be laughing.
@revilo412 To be annoyingly, obnoxiously specific, it would be pre-recorded laugh tracks that are so vehemently derided. It seems to me that the recording of a live audience would still be known as the laugh track.
I don't understand why everyone likes 'the event' quiz show sketch so much, I never found it that good. They should bring back Sir Digby Chicken Caesar .. I miss ginger
@vegetablemagnetism Society's circling the drain my friend... and we've got front row seats to the show. Just sit back and enjoy letting it play out for your amusement ;p
You generic lack of real people want to read something I find a bit strange? This will be my twelfth time or so watching this show. And every time I watch it, I find that I've forgotten about the laugh track. And it saddens me the slightest bit on the inside. Well, as sad as you can be watching this particular show.
The moustache sketch is some of Rob's best acting to date. Really well done.
"they keep us alive for their sport..."
8:23 "this one doesnt think that i" brilliant
The post apocalyptic game show is quite fitting right now!
Oh is it?
@@autismobinch135 yeah you dickhead .
@@bensmith5288 Then where's the apocalypse?
@@vladdracul5072 No aliens, no apocalypse for you? :P

For some reason the 'Remain Indoors' sketches, although very funny, really really stress me out.
johnnythunders78 this comment aged well
Hope you are doing well.... And Remain Indoors.
Remain indoors apart from the weekly permitted trip to didldidi for food packages and fuel?
He knew.
they are so dark
Daniel..Day..Lewis..sketch..was..brilliant..Impression..spot..on..and..hilarious.
Hello, good evening and remain indoors! Thank you for the recommendation TH-cam. You're not taking the piss or anything.
The 'tache sketch is pure genius
Hello, welcome and remain indoors .
The sketch with daniel darn tooting makes me really paranoid of my moustache...
I know exactly what you mean. The "Remain Indoors" sketches could easily be adapted into one of the most disturbing post-apocalyptic movies/series ever.
I guess your movie became reality now
lol, theres your milk.....drink your milk. thats pretty good how he says it
“Hello, good evening, and remain indoors” 😂 so poetic for these times lol
How is it "poetic"?
One person was voltage-calmed.
7:46 David looks like Simon Bird in 10yrs time!
I think DIDLDIDI should open an actual franchise. XD
Prophetic (March 2020)
6:07 David looks like he's borrowed his clothes from James May.
the sketch where David interviews Robert as an actor, he is dressed as James May XD
2:14 2600 hours? Like whatever happened was so bad the earths axis was shifted and the days are longer now
I'd buy an album from Neil Armstrong.
if David and Robert did a posy-apocalyptic movie it'd be the most terrifying thing ever.
"Drink the milk."
Blessed be the regulation!!!!
oh how prophetic, especially how useless they mostly where
one person was thinking about the event when they were watching this.
Watch out for the mustache! Hahahahaha!!!
Katalyzt
Does anyone else get weird “I have no mouth and I must scream” vibes from the emergency British broadcast?
I dunno why, but I usually skip those. Everything else is WONDERFUL though, love this show!
Yeah same! It really puts me on edge :|
the mustache part is fukin hilarious

They're really quite heartbreaking, aren't they?
Rob nails Daniel Day-Lewis as Butcher!

M&W predict VAR. "Blessed be the regulations."
What with Great Britain being an island, the isolated lone survivor post apocalyptic version of Great Britain makes some sense.
@nagyjani I personally thought this was a big step-up from the last series, though it's maybe not as good as the first 2.
@Drexulslum Almost sadistic in a way.
Damn fine acting from Mitchell
@vegetablemagnetism What about that final 'Spaceship Torture Gameshow' sketch? Was that skin-crawlingly creepy or what?
I want some fizzy tomato-style drink
why the hell cut out the punchline!? -.-
Which series/episode was that?
nice Daniel Day-Lewis spoof
DO NOT THINK ABOUT THE EVENT.
@revilo412 I know, and I try to appreciate the difference. But really they function the same way from our perspective. I just think their material is so funny without something telling you when you should be laughing.
@existenceisrelative You know it's not a laugh track, its a live audience...
does anyone believe, that the nail armstrong sketch originated in QI, when david was talking about the inventor of the train?
@existenceisrelative Fair enough, it just annoys me when people falsely accuse them of using laugh tracks.
The Event is not far off 😢
Grow up
The event has happened, 2020 shutdown (depending on your country)
Blessed be the regulations

gardens, when they had those gardening props.
Jesus Christ, as soon as he said "first man on the moon" I laughed histerically.
@johnnythunders78 I never felt that way until I read that comment. Now it stresses me out too...
How did you manage to get permission to post this?
I don't think they worry too much about that
Bill the pirate? Bill cutting from Gangs of New York?
@pupil8 - I vote for both.
Okay thanks.
8:25...this one doesn’t think.....lol

I am the only one who thinks that they did not put enough effort in this season?
Funny how more people seem to fancy Mitchell over Webb
@johnnythunders78 Oh absolutely. Me too.
It's 26:00 hours.
@johnnythunders78 yeah me too...
The first sketch is kind of a bring down now, since he died.
@johnnythunders78 They remind me too much of Fallout....
2:05 26 hundred hours? Did The Event slow down the rotation of the Earth then?
Bolognade.
