I don't think people realize how much better the Raptors played than the warriors in this series. Both of the warriors wins came down to the last bucket. Game 2 - Iggy hitting the three with 5 seconds left & Game 5 - Lowry's three getting blocked by Draymond to win the game. When in comparison 3/4 of the Raptors wins were by a decisive amount (Game 1- Raps by 9, Game 3 - Raps by 14, Game 4 - Raps by 13) it was only game 6 which was close. Yes, injuries were a factor, but you can't dispute the Raptors played much better than the warriors. Despite the Raptors winning in 6 (which seems close) the series was not as close as it seems. People argue that if the Warriors wouldn't have been injured they would've won the series easily, but in reality we'll never know who would've won.
INjuRieS wOn THeM tHe tiTLe... alright let me break this down. - Before the finals began the warriors were favorites to win WITHOUT KD. - What about Klay? Just face it, Raps were the better team.
It's OK though. A chip is a chip but can you explain how 2 career threatening injuries occur in a single final series. A chip is a chip but you won against 3/5th of the Golden State Warriors. A chip is a chip though
I came here after watching 1 hour highlights from 1990-93 semifinals between the Bulls and Knicks and I was not disappointed. Not watching NBA anymore means I don't waste my time. More than half the "highlights" here are open shots. Enjoy...
Same here; they were playing great when the season was suspended. I was aching for the Raptors to silence all their critics. Even so I still think the Raps can be legit contenders for as long as Masai is around and they keep their core unit together( maybe there might be some slight changes along the way )& perhaps lure another big name north of the border and hopefully help the Raps perhaps win another championship in the near future. :-)
Yeah it's stupid tho cuz giving yourself as much opportunities as possible to be lucky is part of the sport. Staying as healthy as possible and getting injured is just how the game works. A championship is a championship and all the games ammounted to this victory, not just the finals.
How you gonna not show Lowry's 11 straight point to start game 6? That was huge, biggest moment of his career and one of the biggest momentum swings of the entire finals? Also, FVV's missing tooth? Siakam's clutch bucket? Good video, well edited, but a lot of really important moments are missing.

i'll never forget how hype this was
Thank god kd and Klay got injured, the warriors don't deserve the 3 peat
If only the Raps won in game 5, Toronto would be shut down partying for WEEKS!
GSW have learned & improved from this and will win this year
8:30 GOAT vanvleet still had to let the ref know😂
I don't think people realize how much better the Raptors played than the warriors in this series. People argue that if the Warriors wouldn't have been injured they would've won the series easily, but in reality we'll never know who would've won.
true
the raptors were sooo much better than the warriors this series it was crazy
I genuinely think Klay was the best player on the team in this series
yee
We will never forget
This was such a fun team to watch. Makes me so sad they didn’t run it back
INjuRieS wOn THeM tHe tiTLe... alright let me break this down.
- Before the finals began the warriors were favorites to win WITHOUT KD.
- What about Klay? Klay Thompson played in Game 1, 2, 4, 5 & 6... so shut up about that excuse.
Majority of these finals the Warriors had Steph, Klay, Draymond, Iggy and Cousins... not enough? Just face it, Raps were the better team.
Yea they were better without KD. No question.
Cousins and Iggy were only at something like fifty percent
Cousins shouldn’t have been playing in that series at all
It's OK though. A chip is a chip but can you explain how 2 career threatening injuries occur in a single final series. A chip is a chip but you won against 3/5th of the Golden State Warriors. A chip is a chip though
@@yeatdagoat173 why you need 5 super stars is the real question?
Clutch game for the raptors in this series
I Miss the NBA!
Kawhi's complete takeover near the end of game 5... In the moment it looked Jordan-esc, too bad they couldn't put them away in TO.
*esque
I came here after watching 1 hour highlights from 1990-93 semifinals between the Bulls and Knicks and I was not disappointed. Not watching NBA anymore means I don't waste my time. More than half the "highlights" here are open shots. Enjoy...
One of the best title runs comparable to the 2011 Mav run
Glad to remember the dynasty falling. This was after my Saints lost on the NOLA No call so great to see another underdog win it all.
8:10 Klay Big Mad😂😂
@PVC you sure, feels like the warriors are going back to pre steph curry/klay thompson era gsw days aka mediocre and bottom of league
If, there was a season they would win in 2020!
Even without Leonard and lots of injuries they were still Winning!
This is the last championship run that has audience on the court. God i miss all the cheers of fans for their favorite teams.
I'm missing Raptors ball right now :(
Same here; they were playing great when the season was suspended. :-)
This reminds me of that 2015 CAvs in the finals
Can we all at least agree if Klay stayed healthy their woulda been a game 7. Idk who would win that game 7 but their woulda been one
"if, wouldve" well it didnt and thats apart of sports
@@domd2806 I’m just talking about if’s
Comments on this video: Bunch of people throwing shade at the raptors for relying on Kawhi, and being lucky.
Haters are going to hate
Yeah it's stupid tho cuz giving yourself as much opportunities as possible to be lucky is part of the sport. Staying as healthy as possible and getting injured is just how the game works. A championship is a championship and all the games ammounted to this victory, not just the finals.
it is sad to see KD and Thompson got injured , really sad
I'm a diehard Warriors fan but if anybody was gonna beat them, at least it's a San Diego State Alum!! Love Kawhi
This was a good series.
If Lowry made that buzzer beater to win Game 5 i think Toronto would’ve exploded
any team that has LBJ or Kawhi or KD is a straight championship calibre
imagine that was the big 3
Peak teamwork
How you gonna not show Lowry's 11 straight point to start game 6? That was huge, biggest moment of his career and one of the biggest momentum swings of the entire finals? Also, FVV's missing tooth? Siakam's clutch bucket? Good video, well edited, but a lot of really important moments are missing.
Anyone who tries to discredit this championship is a hypocrite and a fool
STOP it.... it's tainted and everybody knows it. Just cause u a Raps fan, doesn't change anything.
@@kabagemayannick5097 it’s crazy how you biased casuals don’t mention Warrior championships where they won against teams without Kawhi, CP3, and Kyrie.
As a Raptors fan, I never cheered for Durant getting injured, I cheered because Ibaka stole the ball and was going to slam it going the other way... was hyped about the score not the injury. Commentators making Torontonians look bad.
The Warriors almost got swept.
@PVC Huh?
PVC How can it be a sweep if there’s a game 7? You make no sense.
Never understand how people can say Kawhi carried this team. FVV, Siakam is basically a star now, even Danny Green, Ibaka, and Gasol, Raptors bench was loaded as well.
This was the best roster for the raptors, prolly could've been 4 back to back titles the way they were playing 💯💯
Best defense championship team…EVER!!!!!
All starters were defensive oriented and to top it off, they had Ibaka off the bench👌
This team showed that it truly takes a team effort(we saw wen Durant got injured, Steph couldn’t save Golden state) Raptors had the perfect mix of veteran & younger players with Kawhi Leonard at the forefront🎯
TORONTO RAPTORS 2019
jeremy lin carried the raptors with 101 points in game 6 wow
It was a good finals
I think this series win meant more to Ibaka, mostly because of the 2016 WCF and how it all went down
Danny Green and Quinn Cook in 2019: Warriors and Lakers
Danny Green and Quinn Cook in 2020: Both In Lakers
Leonard had that extra motivation to win at GSW arena since he got Zaza-ed. Toronto was very well balanced
I miss basketball 😪
Havent seen the video yet but hope to see cousins trying super hard to win that ring by yelling at lowry
miss the raps, we going for #2
bucket123 lol 😂😂😂
Great final series!
Kawhi is the greatest raptor all time!
I hate how Klay got injured, we should have seen game 7
Even with a healthy Kyrie and Kevin Love the Warriors were still up 3-1 in the 2016 NBA Finals until lebron got Draymond green suspended
Those cavs teams had trash defense, nothing compared to the raptors, you've gotta credit lebron even more for carrying all them bums smh
RebelDaSoundz they had green for 6 and 7
@@he8500 Now Love and Irving bums, but everyone said that's why warriors won it in 2015 because they were injured
@@kennethopoku4221 Cavs excuse the year prior was that irving and love were injured but look at them healthy and losing 3-1, if green would of been injured I'm okay by cavs making history but gm 5 in oakland with them up 3-1 curry and klay would be off the ball with green handling the ball and if then with green there and cavs go on to make history I would of been cool with it
RebelDaSoundz Green was suspended for one game. Don’t know if Bogut was a factor in that series but after he was injured, the Warriors lost the last two games. Although Warriors only had Bogut at centre. Don’t know how effective Speights or Festus we’re during those games
Honestly I initially thought Siakam deserved the Finals MVP. Yeah Kawhi was the figure head for the playoffs overall. but Skillz stepped up hard in the Finals.
considering the golden state warriors was stack with all star players raptors the under dog did amazing to pull of those wins
Stacked with injured all stars
We also had 4th quarter Freddy stepping up.
I felt bad for G.S. Klay, KD, Boogie, Iggy banged up. Steph tried to carry em.. couldn't do it.
11:39 drake acting like he wasn't clapping before😂
Sick game for da Raps gettin mah boy Mayank Mistry ready for da 2021 draft, remember dat name he gonna be a hot pick
