  • The side stretch exercise stretches and strengthens the intercostal muscles. These are the muscles between the ribs. They help support the ribs.
    Hip opening yoga poses improve circulation, flexibility and range of movement in the hips, legs and back. They are also beneficial for improving posture, strengthening balance, reducing stress, and promoting mental health and overall wellness.

    I absolutely LOVE your classes. The poses and stretches are very different than the typical uni-planar stretching movements. I am loving (slightly hating when I am grunting to get into a pose) the new challenge and cannot wait to see what improvements this does in helping restore normal movement patterns and improve flexibility.
