All I could think was “dang! It’s been a year already?!” Then you opened with “Crazy how time flies so quick”…
Thank you for entertaining us, good sir!
It’s went by very quick, that’s for sure.
I've owned 3 Ram trucks with Cummins engines I've had good luck with all of them, I assume you know it has a fast idle, turn on your cruise control mash set- it will fast idle if you want it idle a faster rpm. I enjoy your videos take care be careful.
I’ve seen that first hand, couple that with a good set of jumper cables and you have a heck of a jump starter.
Very nice truck Tim! I know you are proud. I had a long wheelbase Ford F550 and like you said, it handled the loaded trailer very well.
Nice, well organized, and efficient set up.
Nice truck! I have the 3500 version of your truck, same year, and have been very happy with it.
Mine has 18,000 on it and I bought it a few months after you did thanks for the idea of the truck by the way
Look into some 12v scene tower lights light emergency vehicle use. They’re not cheap but they’re durable and super bright. I spec’s our 2020 ram 5500 rescue truck with them. They’d mount on the front of your bed by the rear of the cab and are telescoping.
I have a 2019 5500 with a 100000 miles more recalls tha it can haul can't get parts from Cummins. Pulls great my gross weight is about 40000 lbs. 307 Ell Diamond cutter 4ft. ditching bucket 3ft heavy duty digging and 18 inch heavy duty digging plus cable blocks and big chains for recovering sliders and dozers.
Very nice truck I like how you got it set up
I have the 18 3500 dually with the 6.7 cummins and i had it deleted and tuned and it really brought that truck to life. Love it.
We bought a 2019 ram 5500 in august of 2020 and we had 50k miles on it by august of 2021
I got my new 21 4500 the end of November and already have 23,000 on it
it could be fun to try to drive in Sweden with that pickup
Love that truck it is set up how I would have it done for myself great video mr tim
On my 02 Dodge 24v I use to get 16 city and 20mpg highway only used it as my welding rig but California don't want certified dirty idle diesels so I had to get rid of it DAMN shame it had all the power and speed I asked for it had 355 rear end
Slick set up I like mine so far 👍
Tim hook the pto to a hydraulic winch for the front
Nice rig! Thanks for sharing.
Nice rig man.
If you go to 245/70R19.5 tires it will give you a slightly better gear ratio, ride a little smoother being a slightly taller side wall, you'd gain a little ground clearance. Those Miller welders are not cheap the company I worked for has a Trail Blazer 302 Air pack nice machine, compressor works good within its capacity we were running a 1 inch impact on it...... couldn't keep up. I don't remember what he paid for it but the price for one has gone up quite a bit.
302's are only rated for a 3/4" impact.
Man my 350 amp welder just wont gouge at 400 amps...
Good stuff Tim, that was a fast year, it is a weapon of a truck though👌👍🙂
I am on my 4th dodge diesel since my first which was an 05' all have been good except one of them and that one thousand dollared me to death. I still think my 97' 7.3 power stroke was the most trouble free diesel and I actually had an 04' 6.0 stroke that was trouble free.... have had a couple duramax trucks too for work trucks too and they are okay engines but the GM trucks are too light duty for work trucks in my opinion.
Watch those steps cause I bet they feel like a trailer hitch on your shin!!
It is a great truck to work out of
Just right for what I do.
Do you have room for a slip tank for gogo juice for Ms. Piggy?
Dang,,, a year already..... seems the older some get the faster time flies.
It went by quick.
So do you ever got stop by the Department of. Safety
How long is the 5500 from front to back?
I have never checked that. I do know the bed is 11’ 2” long
I won't say anything else about my F450 getting 9 mpg with trailer. About 14 mpg with no trailer. As long as I keep my foot out of it.
Dodge Dually frames a week I barely hit some and bent the frame
Great Video Tim I Love It From Bryer Floyd
Great rig Tim
Thank you 👍🏻
it been a year already,
Boa noite muito top esse carro lindo amigoc
I'm guessing you have your CDL then for that truck?
Yes sir. I have had cdl license since 1993.
Could you put your saws in those front compartments since it's an 84" CA? I was looking at this exact bed for my next chassis but 60" CA and the compartments all look too small to store chainsaws
Front right compartment holds 6 full size saws and even 36” bar will fit. I have a couple videos where I do a tour of the truck and show how the saws are placed.
@@cotontop3 Nice. I really want to stick with a 60" CA since the truck does plow snow and shorter is better. But then the compartments aren't big enough. Nice setup. I have 3 Rams of different uses and love the cummins/aisin combo.
you can put some deodorant on that belt and it will stop if from squeaking for a while but it will wear off
Nice machine 😀😀😀😀⭐
Thank you 👍🏻
That's low miles, truck is commercial, designed to run 24-7
