Hope you all have a great day for your daughters birthday, I presume they have to keep the lights low as bright lights will disturb the fish. I also think that if the lights are bright on our side, it makes it more difficult to see into the dark tanks, all you see is the reflection of the lights
Thd lighting etc is to suit the animals within, not the viewers without. Lights in domestic tanks / aquarium is also there for the benefit for the external viewers not the fish etc living in the tank... External lighting to the tanks aidsvisitors to negotiate their way around safely but also allows easier sighting of aquarium occupants rather than merely reflections of the lights upon the glass. Just remember to shade your eyes against sunlight (if visiting on a sunny day!) as you leave the aquarium building so that you're not dazzled and won't fall as you descend the exit steps. Take care. Stay safe. Have fun. Happy New Year 2025. (Brigid, SE.London, UK).
Is there full wheelchair access to every exhibit / tank? I have not yet seen a single video guide of this aquarium which shows I would be allowed to visit it with my (adult) daughter (who pushes my wchair, as it has a fixed axle, so I cannot steer it myself). :-o
Yes, it is fully accessible, lifts to each floor and each floor is flat with access up to each tank and exhibit. Corridors are wide enough to fit a wheelchair with plenty of room to spare but when it is full with lots of guests space may be more restricted. I would suggest going when it opens as it is a lot quieter, we try and go during those times as it is much easier to go through and less crowded
Watching these types ofvideos make me wish I still kept fish. I still have a small aquarium but have not kept fish for quite a few years niw since my 6 _17yo_ fancy red fantail goldfish eventually died in the early '90's and...as I had had two spontaneous sets of twin babies* to care for, I couldnt devote sufficient time / effort to buying or caring for more fish, sadly ...plus, my first* set of twin babies both died, so there was that added grief and upset to deal with too: 16/01/1992-16/01/1992, Philip '6hrs old' & then, Marianne '12 hrs old' born 6 mins apart, died 6 hrs apart R.I.P.) :'( :'(
Yeah, we have a few other Sea Life videos on our channel: Sea Life Manchester: th-cam.com/video/7UwQyJsC5r8/w-d-xo.html, Sea Life Brighton: th-cam.com/video/HYN6oXxSxko/w-d-xo.html, Sea Life Chessington: th-cam.com/video/3N2yAk9UeCk/w-d-xo.html and Sea Life at Alton Towers: th-cam.com/video/3Ke9BLf7u6I/w-d-xo.html, thank you for watching
Yeah they look quite ferocious, with sharp pointy teeth, they are Sand Tiger Sharks, SeaLife state they are not a danger to humans though. The Sand Tiger Sharks have two dorsal fins on their backs which are roughly the same size while the Great White Sharks have one large and one very small second dorsal fin.
It's £29 per person if you pre-book so it isn't cheap for an hour or two, however it is a great Aquarium and we enjoyed our time here. You can also save some money if you get multi-attraction tickets for other Merlin attractions nearby, such as Shrek, London Dungeon and London Eye.
We do try to re-record sound where possible, for example to remove copyright background music or overly loud background noise. Unfortunately we had limited time on this particular day doing 5 attractions. Thank you for the feedback, we do appreciate it when people take the time to comment, it does help us, many thanks A Z
Go buy yourself some 'fish and chips' and be grateful for what you receive. Then educate yourself on what fish live around the shores of the country you live in... They probably do more for you than you do for them, if you did but take the opportunity to educate yourself ...but if boredom lives within you, perhaps you are just too dim to learn more than whatever was taught to you in Primary School?! (Sadly).
Everyone saying turn your mic must of forgot what it’s like to be a kid enjoying a day out with your mum and dad. Great video
Many thanks, we film it like it is, we want people to experience the attraction as if they are there which may mean loud noises, low light etc.

Do they have alligators? That's what I read somewhere..🤔
They have crocodiles in the Rainforest Adventure area but I don't think they have Alligators
Is there great white sharks here
No, I don't believe there are any white sharks in captivity anywhere in the world
@@PlanItPark ah ok but them sharks that were quite big looked like great whites
