Tried it before and can increase the laptop mobo temp if use step up converter due to the voltage booster and can cause burn up to usb port. Usb port usually produce 5v 0.5a (2.5W), while using pc fan 12v 0.3a (3.6W) or if run max 0.5a (6W). I changed to 12v power adapter and voila no more burnout. Cons just need a additional plug to plug the 12v adapter thus it's not portable.
This kinda reminds me of that one guy that built an ENTIRE computer monitor tower casing from working CPU fans! Useful diy btw just needs an adjustable height to increase or decrease airflow!
Yeah
Does using the step up booster not risk burning the USB in the laptop due to low amperage? Thank you and congratulations for the work
as per comment above there is a risk usb port overloading
Are the fans facing the laptop or facing the surface ? I mean is the air going into laptop or sacking it out ?
Very nice video.. question did u exhausts hot air away from laptop or r u blowing air to the laptop?
Good idea. It still can be refined though, like using a proper 12volts adapter for it. Or using two usb ports in parallel so that the current draw will be divided in half (so as to reduce the load on just one usb port). RGB is cool but will only increase power consumption and decrease efficiency.
Cool video, by the way. But i don't see anybody asking how good does this work? Can u tell us how much it actually cools. (CPU temperature)
AVC fans are the way to go.
can u just turn the fans around that would be better since the CPU fans on laptops intake air from the bottom.so u should flip it around to help the airflow
Now, that is what i call a cooler.... AwEsOmE bRo...
the step up converter it can be harmful for pc at long using what do you think
Will drain the battery very fast also affects half life of battery
Super creative creator
I would like to see a noise level test and temperature test. But quite helpful for my project thank you!
Will they be able to support the weight and will the heat not melt the hot glue??
very nice. It is a good idea not to make flames but simply just glue fans together. I will make smt like that. Thanks. Ive got a nice inspiration
Your all videos cool and amazing I like your all video
Merci très bonne vidéo. Love the music.
are the fans supposed to be sucking air inside the laptop? or are the fans giving air inside the laptop?
very good project. i was amaze with the converter board. i got lot of fan from psu, server and mobo fan. i think i can start a project like this. thanks
You are superb inventor
I think it would fly...
😂😂 me too
My brother too
Super 👍 👍👍👍
Thank God. I thought that the whole setup may lift up the laptop 😆😆
This plan is made for drone nice
Very Nice video
Please subscribe buddy!!
OK no problem😉😉
Please tell me is there any harm if give 5 V instead of 12 V.
No buddy i will suggest you to use 12v adapter insted it will be much cheaper and will also work great.
Exactly what I was looking for, thanks for the share due 😁
Wah bahut accha laptop cooler hai
thanks
Wow... ये CPU Fan मार्किट मे किने रुपए के मिल जाते है
excellent video

3:54 also you need high current boost converter
Bro current boost convrter kaha say purchase kiya . tell me . thanks for the video
that can fly with a charguer portatil, if we could elevate to 7,4v?
Hi Aren't the fans the wrong way round?
Nice work I Iike your video 👍👍👍👍
Thanks
It may be ingenious but, in my opinion, it's not practical in the long run. I mean, one wrong move and your laptop falls down. Its stability is fragile. If you accidentally hit the laptop from one side it will slide and fall from the cooler pad. So the pad should have some type of "stoppers" in order to make sure that the laptop will not fall. Besides of that, I don't see how can you adjust the angle and the position of the laptop/pad. And finally, those "legs" the pad has are not reliable. I wouldn't put my expensive laptop on 4 simple screws that cand easily slide on any surface. And I wouldn't put that cooler on my furniture. In short, this laptop needs a lot of adjustments in order to make it really practical. Up until now is just a cool experiment to make with kids in order to familiarize them with technology and practical things. So the main idea is good.
You can easily make a wooden surface and cut out circular holes for the fans. Then put rubber feet on the bottom of the screws. Problem solved.
Amazing Drone for cooling laptop in desert
Nice
Looks impressive and I'm using that same boost module which can transform even a 5V to 50V but it heats up if you use that many fans plus this is very expensive build total cost is 2200 above right considering per cpu fan is 400rs around but nice work though
You can make this project. I have used cheap fans.arround 50 rs per fan boost converter arround 90 rs.

Can we connect it to laptop or pc
Can i use ac > dc 12v adaptor?
I dont have step up boost...
Yes you can. Either a power adaptor DC with output 12V, or a variation of power adaptor, which has a USB port, but make sure the output is 12V , not 5V.
Where do you get that setup boost converter?
Podrias hacer un protector de celulares con una de esas ventiladoras
Last year I made such cooler for my pc using the 650watt power supply ... I had 3 extra gaming power supply so I used it only for the fan and not using the PSU inside CPU
Great Such a High Power!!!

Awesome Bro!!
KEEP IT UP 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for your support!
Please subscribe buddy!!
Alguém saberia me dizer o nome daquela placa que ele usa, para aumentar a tensão de saída? Obrigado
Hey, I don't know anything about these kind of stuffs but why is it necessary to have 12v?
no buddy it will also run in 5v USB power
Creative creator where can I buy those fans? I clearly have no idea. Did you just took it from a computer?
Great work bro, but may i ask something? I tried using the step up dc mt3608 with 2 AA battery and it works, unfortunately even though it could reach 12V it still slow maybe because lack of amperage from AA battery. So i tried using USB cable but its output stuck at 0,1-0,5V to the Vin in the module. Any suggestion?
Best solution will be to use a 12v adapter
@@Creativecreator ahh that's just unconvenient. Thx for replying tho, i will try to ask other people
Yes I am the first one to like
In my family.
But can you make a drone with these fans????
thank you, I know this is old and you most likly have already gotten another laptop. Maybe remove the bottem cover of the laptop to get the cooling air into the laptop and use a outside source for the power not the laptop.
Yes, you are right
Which side Is the outlet of air
Amazing video man!
Thanks buddy for your valuable comments
Very nice idea
good idea but It is better to put boots instead of screws I will wont be does not move for fans vibration
Una Pregunta que editor usas para tus vídeos mándame el link por favor
I use premier and filmora
Eu pensei que ele ia fazer um drone
battery discharge machine use always external power for laptop cooling fans
could you do this on cheap static rgb fan?
This was really useful diy!

Not enough amps after the step up converter.
Laptop usb dont output more than 1 amp ( i think it is around 500mah) and the fans in total eat around 1.1 amp there is just not enough power especialy after the step up
Use a external powebank
Yes, correct. The fans will receive limited power, and therefore they will not turn at the maximal nominal speed.
It WORKS IT WORKS but not as a cooler
AS A DRONE
is a cool idea, but it still lacks an RGB LED xD
you can add later
@@Creativecreator xD
I like fans :)
Perfect bro!!❤
Good working instruction
DHIMAN DE thank you.
You don't need 12v.. 5v is enough. Every usb power gives 5v... I made a router cooler with a mobile charger.
Battery cool.
Excellent
grasias a los colegas por ayudarnos con sus conosimientos
de nada por favor suscríbete !!
This will blow up the laptop usb port after some time
Kde máš kalafunu?
make it control by digital adjustable
Hello, is it safe to directly connect the diy cooler into the laptop usb port?
if you are not using the boost converter and using only 5v then it is completely safe but boost converter takes more current..... for avoiding issues is cell phone charger to power it..
Creative creator but I don't have the equipment to determine the voltage, is it matic that it has a 5v? Assuming that I have connected a two cpu fan.
OK fine it will dork directly without boost converter
My dumbass thought you were going to build a drone😪
Is.. laptops provides power at the USB port .. even at Sleep...mode...??¿
I think yes
I thought u make a dron but u laptop heating out exos very good idea

in which state your are living from which shop I can get boost converter in cuttack in odisa
I have given Amazon link in my description box
It can fly ?
lol it cant
Good
Quien más pensó que era un dron😅😅
it will work to increase the speed of CPU fan if the voltage is 25v l can put boots converter how much the voltage can give the boots converter can give because I want 86v for making my school project
Pow pensei que era um drone até ia fazer aqui se desse certo kkkk
why not using 12 volt charger its simplier/
does 2 volt DC motor drill can drill the pencil
Try and see
pense que era un drone :v
But, can the usb manage that energy ?
I use Powerbank for running this
Hey dude what is that glue gun u used In ur vdo????
Cheap one from local market....
How can I take this to my office
I want to buy a boots converter please you can tall me where I can get the boots converter in cuttack in odisa
buy from online amazon i have given link in the description box
It DOESN'T have to be exactly 12.00 volts, it can be like 12.50 or 12.90 volts for the max efficiency as long as it doesn't exceed 13.00 volts.
nice
Just used a universal power adapter, adjustable from 5V to 12V. Cons, uses power outlet instead of usb
Good solution!
Good Job
Thank you!!!
Motor has magnet + hardisk... We can get hardisk problem soon?
No man you will not get any problems
Yo pensé qué iba a hacer un Dron! 😐🤔

Do You plz tell me why need 12 v. When its allready runing with 4.5v..
For me I want better speed. If you want to use it with 4.5v then you can use it surely thatswhy I have written trick 1
Sooper
The USB port will always be under load, and will burn out in one day
Sure, and if you are using a plug for the laptop anyway why don´t do it properly and make that thing work nice and cool with enough 12v power? even with a regulator.
Yes, many OS includong windows will automatically try to disable it after a while if it detects that this much power is being drawn. It can also affect your psu to do this (if you have a potato psu) and ur mouse and keyboard might malfunction because of less power being supplied to them. What I suggest is using charger pod for phones to connect usb to and draw power from there. Its a bit of an hassle but safer imo.
yes it right
Great idea thx
