The starting character raiden is actually OP just focus on building his burst dmg and his burst 'blade mode' will do the job. Doktor as a support is actually good however his burst 'Turn on his pain inhibitors' only works on raiden.

Played both,AR 53 in Genshin and when I picked up MGRR I had so much more fun than grinding 24/7,getting a no hit S rank run on very hard against Sam and meme guy was fun,and even more fun on Revengeance difficulty due to the ridiculous perfect parry damage
I don't get how Mihoyo managed to gather all the advertisers they could pay to come up with the worst possible ads they could make in existence. It's a game that would definitely appeal to more people if they knew how to market it, it's just that their ads are simply horrendous.
I would love to see the two roam and wander across the various nations of Teyvat and meet and greet the characters of Genshin, and knowing the history of each, plus the Archon War, The Cataclysm, Khaenri'ah, and etc.

I have never played metal gear rising myself and I enjoy playing genshin now and then (taking a break because God eater 3 is awesome), but I can agree with everyone that the ads are horrible. Metal gear rising is something I probably will pick up and play if I ever see it in a store.
I have developed Stockholm Syndrome towards Genshin. I still love the game and its characters despite me pretty much doing almost nothing but dailies and consume the resins. But MGR:R is MGR:R and you can't beat that.
Honestly I suggest if there are no improvement (change in combat, mechanic etc ), I suggest to just uninstall it or just don't play it till the game almost complete or added 2-3 more region. I played it for almost 2 years and have spent some money in it (dunno what I was thinking) and decided to drop it since my friends aren't playing it anymore. Honestly Genshin isn't worth playing anymore when you reach late game (AR 45-60), It really gets repetitive and the grind is by no mean fun and relies too much on rng. The game demand little to no skill and mostly on rng.
I'm going to be honest, the characters are really good (mostly), and have interesting designs, such as: - 8 year old terrorist who keeps accidentally killing monsters - overworked chief of police - alchemist dude who might or might not be human - drunkard bard dude who may or may not be human - old guy who likes tea who may or may not be human - lawyer who is approximately half human - exiled samurai who works to bring justice to the shogun - pop star nun who spends all her time helping others - sailor who killed sea monster before obtaining her magic powers who may or may not be sleeping with - rich businesswoman who works to better her city - drunkard conniving foreign spy who's adopted brother of - pretty much batman who had to make the harsh decision to kill his father - detective who might be from another universe - guy who defies fate by his continued survival - dude raised by wolves who has to fight to protect his adoptive family There are fair points to not like the game, and the ads are horrendous, but the characters are pretty good, imo

I played Genshin Impact a few months ago for a combined total of like 3 hours and kept wondering when it was going to get good. I've been playing Genshin for more than a year. I still like it a lot, but I want to find another game to play when I got nothing to do in Genshin. I really want to try MGR, but it looks like I need to play all the other Metal Gear games before this one. Is it worth it?
You can pretty much start playing MGR without any knowledge whatsoever about MGS, so yeah you definitely can. And it's worth it because the combat is a fresh breath of air compared to genshin's combat imo.
You literally need no knowledge of the other games at all to enjoy anything about it. It just enhances the experience when there's very minor moments where you go "Hey, that's a cool reference!" From the codec conversations. But I totally recommend getting it.
This gives me an idea, whenever I get an advertisement, I’ll have a script check who is advertising. If it finds any annoying ads(genshin, webtoon, mobile games, literally any anime game, etc.) it will pull up clips of metal gear rising to cover the cringe

But if still insist then play till you reach around AR 45-50 and along the way complete the available main quest, side quest, build up your characters by grinding artifact books mora etc. And by any mean DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY ON ANY OF THAT GACHA SHIT. Then when you reach the said AR lvl congrats! Now uninstall it, since you basically already experience everything that the game has to offer and not even future update would change shit.

There are fair points to not like the game, and the ads are horrendous, but the characters are pretty good, imo

Exept kaeya and diluc who really look like 2 brothers everyone else is that one forgettable boy or girl you've seen in an anime one day and don't remember the name of. Like barbara is the "I wanna be the very best at healing but I am shy", keqing is the character that everyone remembers because she has cat hears but no one remembers her lines because she is useless, klee is the "I am a cute girl with a big weapon please love me" type, but she is not in the tsundere way of "love me" so it's fine, and lisa is the thot who almost is a b at that point. I'm not saying this with hate.

I played Genshin Impact a few months ago for a combined total of like 3 hours and kept wondering when it was going to get good. Ever character I met made me want to jump off the nearest cliff, which I frequently did, and I found that performing keyhole surgery on my left testicle was more fun than the combat. I only played it because people egged me on to do it, but if these are the ads for it, then I never would have picked it up in the first place.

while mgr:r is 25 GB as install data
i think imma reinstal mgr:r(i'm a veteran mgr:r player ya know but still i can't S rank every mission, but some of them are already s ranked in revengeance mode)
So before i uninstall genshin, probably the best for me it's to Play before an update comes, then i'll freeze my account(which is not playing it anymore) and i'll wait for the full size of genshin....

I've been playing Genshin for more than a year. I still like it a lot, but I want to find another game to play when I got nothing to do in Genshin. I really want to try MGR, but it looks like I need to play all the other Metal Gear games before this one. Is it worth it?
You can pretty much start playing MGR without any knowledge whatsoever about MGS, so yeah you definitely can. And it's worth it because the combat is a fresh breath of air compared to genshin's combat imo.
As someone who has only played mgrr you don’t need to know anything to play it or get interested in the story.

You literally need no knowledge of the other games at all to enjoy anything about it.
It just enhances the experience when there's very minor moments where you go "Hey, that's a cool reference!" From the codec conversations.
But I totally recommend getting it.

This gives me an idea, whenever I get an advertisement, I’ll have a script check who is advertising. If it finds any annoying ads(genshin, webtoon, mobile games, literally any anime game, etc.) it will pull up clips of metal gear rising to cover the cringe
Genshin starts off so fun and lots to explore but really fast everything that used to be fun turns into a chore. Daily commissions, primo farm, wishes. Its just…. not better than MEMORIES BROKEN THE TRUTH GOES UNSPOKEN

Then when you reach the said AR lvl congrats! Now uninstall it, since you basically already experience everything that the game has to offer and not even future update would change shit.
The game is designed to be played only for 3 hours, if you played it more than 3 hours you're either finishing some event or just hurting yourself
