Great guide, I'm almost there but I can't move supersu over to my oneplus 3t because windows won't show me the internal storage. When the phone is in stock android it will let me browse the internal storage but not it won't let me in recovery mode. Any ideas? Thanks.
Yeah,TWRP. Now I have transferred SuperSU over when the phone is on, into the device's storage and then I rebooted to TWRP and tried to install it from the oneplus storage. I just get the error "Invalid Zip Format now :/
Android Explained the same as your video, 2.76. I think I'm gonna go back to stock and try everything again. I followed a different guide just to root the phone but in that guide it got me to install SuperSU latest version and obviously nothing happened about the encryption as you mentioned in your video, so I went back and did it your way with 2.76 but couldn't. the different zips couldn't "clash" could they? this is why I might go back to stock and try again for scratch.
if you still haven't figured this out you can do: Install adb drivers Find the location on the computer and open up a terminal there (Shift + Right Click nad search for "Open command/powershell window here) and then type "adb push /sdcard
It used to help increase performance. Now nowadays it is used for certain mods like the one that lets you have two different custom ROMs installed, and gives you the ability to boot into one or the other

Hi, My zenfone 3 ultra is blocked with this message when i watched youtube and all of a sudden i got this: "more information : DM verity in EIO mode Your device is corrupt It can't be trusted and may not work properly visit this link on another device g.co/ABH g.co/placeholder your device will shutdown in 10 seconds" i tried to update from sd card with the rom downloaded from asus web, it didn't work even update from adb 1.0.32 adb sideload??? i'd be grateful if you can guide me step by step as i'm a newbie. Not without you giving me more details. Did this issue start happening when you disabled forced encryption? Which ways are you trying to put a file on your phone? What error are you getting when you try to do this?

you could do "adb reboot fastboot" to reboot the smartphone into Fastboot Mode without having to use the Power button
