Can somebody please read this whole thing so I know at least one person knows about this? I want to share a story because it’s 2:13 AM and I’m in my feelings. Exactly one year ago today, I invited my crush over to my house. This is more than a normal crush, I’m talking really like them for 3 years previously kind of crush. At that time she had been one of my best friends, but we would flirt here and there before the day came and she came over. So we’re having fun in my movie theatre room and shit, watching the Conjuring and throwing popcorn at each other both sitting in a leather black recliner. We stop and continue watching the movie. Let me backtrack a little tho: about a week beforehand I told her randomly in a late FaceTime call that I would kiss her if she asked me to, to which she hesitated and then said that was nice of me to say. The next day I texted her that I was delirious and didn’t know what I was talking about because I was embarrassed about what I had said. She said she was delirious as well. I was not delirious, and I meant what I said. Anyway, back to when she was at my house. I didn’t look at her when I said, “remember when I said I would kiss you if you asked me to and then passed it off as being delirious? I was not delirious.” To which I was greeted with silence. Then, from the corner of my eye I see her look at me and say, “I wasn’t delirious either.” She looked back at the movie screen and I smiled. We wait about a minute before moving on to actually playing a video game. Forgive me, it was ROBLOX, but that’s because that was the only game she wanted to play. We flirted in between rounds of a competitive speed run game. She asked me questions like “what do you like in a girl?” I described her features and I could tell she smiled and blushed a little. After about an hour we get tired of ROBLOX and get up to go to my room. She stops me. She asked me if I wanted to kiss her. Of course I did, every bone, muscle, and cell in my body told me to. I couldn’t. I kept refusing. I was scared. I remember this next part vividly. I told her, “You don’t want to kiss me, you’ll be traumatized.” She grabbed my shirt and pulled me close to her. She said, in these exact words, “Would I be pulling on your shirt if I didn’t want to kiss you?” I got scared, so I walked away and made the biggest mistake I have ever made. She now has identified herself as bisexual, and possibly gay because she only finds attraction in male celebrities, and not actual people she knows. About a month or two after she came over, she got in a relationship with a girl. My heart was broken and she didn’t even tell me about the relationship until a month after they had gotten together. They haven’t broken up since. And I still have a love for that girl. I would do anything to get that moment again, but maybe it’s just one of those things that you only get one try, and if you fuck up then you gotta live with it, even though it feels like I can’t. But even though she is with somebody else, at least she’s happy getting love from somebody like that, even if that love is not coming from me, I’m glad she is happy.
