For all asking how much this costs it all really all depends on how cheap u can get a wrecked scat pack for on IAAI or Copart. get them with a parts only title. its much cheaper. just gave yall all the sauce

The real MVP of these swaps is the insurance payments. Insurance sees this as a V6 by the VIN 😂 If only it still got V6 gas mileage lol. Only thing that sucks is insurance will only pay out V6 coverage costs if it gets wrecked. They won't pay for that 6.4. But you could always take the money and go buy a real used 6.4 if you wreck it.
Did you have to swap over the ECU, ENGINE HARNESS, Transmission as well since the ecu for the v6 is missing 2 additional cables on the harness for the injectors. Give aittle more detail on that if you don't mind. Ppl who want to buy a cheap or already have the sxt and can find a wrecked hell cat for 7k wanna know thanks

I’m in the process of trying to get a scat at a dealership and there’s one going for a cheap price but it has 118k I wanna swap it for a brand new 392 engine but I don’t want the dash to still read 118k what needs to happen? because I’m kinda picky about it
Likely no lol It’s vin will still read what it came as from the manufacturer. Nay sayers will still say the classic “it’s not a srt though” It is indeed a srt if it has all the part. Just when it comes to on paper no.
@@trelly2turnt906 yeah just buy the better model. Everything is upgrades, suspension, trans, brakes, etc right off the bat. If you swap the v6 parts youll end up spending more than you would just buying the higher trim
So on this one I tried something different, since the body harnesses are both the same all I changed was the bcm module and it worked! Saved me so much time
@@Kingtutmf9 🙏 swapped the rear and front cradle, the fuel pump, brake booster, BCM module, gas and brake pedals and seats, this one was one of the more easier ones because I didn't have to fully strip it and oh obv the engine lol

U can use either, AWD frame u gotta cut the transmission bracket to fit

You cannot it will probably be there for like 5 minutes before it adapts to your BCM
