Just bought one of these and absolutely love it. I was hard against Kia's in the beginning because I always remember them being hunks of s***. But I think what they are doing now is fantastic you are getting a lot for your money. Great review btw!! Subbed :)
Honestly, for the price, I think Kia is making some pretty good cars. I had a Sorento for a couple of years and it was a very good ride. Great review btw!
I test drove one recently because I was curious about the new Sorento. It's actually a good little car. It's not super luxury but nice and comfortable yo drive. The best thing about it, for me, was the regular transmission. No cvt.
I have a Sportage and love it! You are in the 2021 model it is the most recent. 2022 are suppose to be released in April however they say it may be delayed a few months. You review should have included all models of the Sportage? Would be far more informative and enjoyable.
Mam this vehicle rocks. It's also going to be rock solid as it's been around for a while. It looks clean and nice inside. I love the inside and out and I do dig how it's like a porsche. Give me a loaded turbo model 👌
Bought a Sportage GT-line in 2018. Such a great drive bought a Stinger GT for the wife in 2020. Now have both and happy a Larry. Only problem with the Stinger is getting my wife out of the driver's seat so I can get a drive.
Disnt talk about the sun roof windows...dose it open? Is their something to slide over it if u dont want to see out it? Dose it have backup cams? Or would that be an extra item package? Ty for the review
I was at one point looking at a Mazda CX 5, Hyundai Tucson and a Qashqai. Tucson I can't quite understand why they did not have the passenger seat adjustment, the Qashqai as too many faults to mention but one in particular is the 1.2 Renault engine. So I am now looking towards this.
Nice review (liked and subbed)! Slight bias on my part because I have the older 2015 Sportage model, so this newer one fits the bill. Some of us might want a Stinger, but most or many of us just need to check the boxes and not pay too much. If I only had 1 car for my family, this could do pretty much anything I need it to do. Also, I actually find the cig lighter ports useful for things like pneumatic jack/air compressor for seasonal tire changes, older tech that just won't die, like dash cam or Sat-Nav. and USB adapters with 2 charging ports. Too bad the 2022-23 model won't have real HVAC buttons, but it looks cooler than this one. It might be worth getting this one before their gone.
Me too I love mine. Im tall too. I completly lower my seat so I dont hit the ceiling. I love everything. Is roomy but not a van or a Ford pickup to climb up in.
while driving we expect to hear about driving dynamics, road noise and suspension setup, not about internal lights and cigarettes lighter!! Sorry for a dislike from me👎
I’m actually leaning more towards the Seltos but I’m curious if the 21’s still have the telescoping steering wheel or will I have to get the 2020 model if I want that feature? I don’t want to be on top of the the steering wheel in order to reach the pedals.
This is probably the ugliest design in their current lineups, but the all new design looks really nice, nicer than the new Tucson. Looking forward to it!
Hi Good guy ! Tnx for the awesome review. But many of you reviewers are expecting a SUV to handle like a Ferrari. And if your heart wasn’t in it, why bother doing this review of an SUV. We are average Joe’s basically who want a SUV. I don’t give a continental about 0 to 60 speeds or slight body rolls round corners. Tnx for reading my rant. Regards. Auckland. NZ.
The new one is coming this one is in its final year so why buy it. I love KIA. I will be buying the top of the range KIA sometime this year. UK Automatics are so easy to drive, it’s not really driving through.
Constructive criticism, you walk too much bro. You already move a lot with your hand gestures. See the difference if you just stay in place and move only when necessary.
I own a 2020 Sportage..2.5 liter engine.. with leather..mine doesn’t feel cheap..Honda crv has a 1.4 liter engine that has 0 pep..more comfy than toyota, Honda and Mazda by far!
Explained in the video, the new refreshed version comes next year so it will be nice to make comparisons between the two, not everyone buys new cars either.
Is it worth buying knowing the refresh is coming?
No……

I don't like front. It's got a weird face.

This vehicle is low key super sexy. It’s either a love it or hate it kind of thing!
Well said!

I just bought a 2022 EX last week...absolutely love it!!!
Your reviews touch on things that other reviewers overlook, always find myself surprised by what you’re talking about
Appreciate that!
I mean you did get a basic interior. I think the beige interior looks way better and brings more light in making it more alive.

Still prefer this to the newer 2022/23 model

Great content and very informative 👍 Love Hyundai/Kia products
Thanks Kara!

Panoramic sunroof and yes they both open!
@@mr.speyside5240 thank you
This video deserves more likes.
Thanks man

I love my kia sportage. It's a great daily driver and has ample room. I'm 6ft 2in and the driver seat could back up more if needed.
Me too I love mine. Im tall too. I completly lower my seat so I dont hit the ceiling. I love everything. Is roomy but not a van or a Ford pickup to climb up in.
the new one is more expensive i think !!! so bying this version or waiting for the new one ?
Funny review - with personality I dig the honesty
Like your review. Hopping over to see the Seltos review.
Jump over and take a look!
I have Kia Rio 2021 and im in looove! But my 2nd baby must be a Sportage.
while driving we expect to hear about driving dynamics, road noise and suspension setup, not about internal lights and cigarettes lighter!!

im really confused as to why the sportage is actually cheaper or the same price as the seltos. in the used market...
I was at the shop and they offered me some kia Sportage black edition, any big difference?
Beautiful car, here in the UK the front design is slightly different check it out I think you'd like it. Great vid.
I had a SX and with the 2.0t it was pretty quick, not sure why they wouldn't give you that model.
Damn. Lucky!
I’m subbed! Great review here!
Thanks for the sub!
my Kia Ceed from 2018 has the same steering wheel, that is not the newest steering wheel.
Just bought mine but I later realized that it doesn't have a sunroof. I feel so bad about that.
i bought sportage mild hybrid last feb2020, after reach 5k km, fuel injection got problem...
What about the self driving function
Does it have an option to have navigation
This is probably the ugliest design in their current lineups, but the all new design looks really nice, nicer than the new Tucson. Looking forward to it!
Yeah, saw pictures of the new design, looks pretty cool!
Do you have the newest version

Not a big Kia fan but I like it
Great video! Love the Kia Products.
Wow Energetic Review good job bro.
If you can you should do a review on a Lincoln Aviator GT Black Label.
Would love to!
Does it have park assist?
Yes
Nice your video
Pake bahasa indonesia itu keren banget video nya🇮🇩
That certainly didn't make me want to buy it. Lolol
It is a perfect car for every day life and specially for woman. I think word SPORT should not be there. I would call it more like KIA Easyage
For the record it's pronounced "Sportage"
The new one is coming this one is in its final year so why buy it. I love KIA. I will be buying the top of the range KIA sometime this year. UK Automatics are so easy to drive, it’s not really driving through.
I mean I have a 2011 LX AWD that I'm going to be LS swapping
Love your videos... ❤️
The same as 2019 facelift ....
Doesn’t hold value , only a good guy if you keep a car for long period time (the warranty) other than that it doesn’t hold value
Again, Killin' It
Is the vid a car review or a speech class?
I love sportage
Hyundai Tucson is such a bigger and better vehicle.
Join the movement #relistxrp
I hope they take design cues from the K5 (formerly Optima) on the next generation of the Sportage. This design is getting old
No good for me, the damn steering wheel is on the wrong side!
I've learned thehard way Kia DOES NOT STAND BEHIND ITS PRODUCT. History of faulty engines and finds excuses not to honor warranty.
2022 better then the 2023
Constructive criticism, you walk too much bro. You already move a lot with your hand gestures. See the difference if you just stay in place and move only when necessary.
Can’t. It’s in my DNA!
Ok subscribed
BUENA INFORMACION COMANDO RRRRRR
Clear coat peeling
118,000 milles engine broke
A GDI engine? No thanks. Kia your engines & transmissions are great before keep them like that, get away from gdi please.
They’ve been GDI for a while...where have you been?
@@mr.speyside5240 thought theyve learned from their mistake by now. Toyota & Honda did.
Still using my 2013 optima gdi engine, almost 140k miles no problems
Personally i don't like the 2023 model even tho it does look like your driving a transformer
Luma na yan tapid sng mahal pa . Lol
The worst, underpowered, feels cheap, and ride is rough.
I am at my second Sportage. I’d say it rather feels comfy. I love my Kia’s.
That's what your dad said about your mother!
I own a 2020 Sportage..2.5 liter engine.. with leather..mine doesn’t feel cheap..Honda crv has a 1.4 liter engine that has 0 pep..more comfy than toyota, Honda and Mazda by far!
I owned the same model But GDI, so far it’s a good car..
why are you reviewing a 2 year old model car? there's nothing new about it.
Explained in the video, the new refreshed version comes next year so it will be nice to make comparisons between the two, not everyone buys new cars either.
