so I just shared my post in multiple groups and get a tremendous overwhelming response. It's impossible to answer all the comments what would you do. I was thinking maybe a facebook live in my business page or personal profile then maybe sharing it as a pre-recorded facebook watch party in each group. What do you suggest so I can get most bang for the buck?
so glad you did, Rockstar 😍 maybe see what people are asking the most and do a video answering the most common questions in there. That way, whenever someone asks you something you already answered in the video, all you gotta do is redirect them there. Does that make sense? 😄

Hey Tanya, What is the limit? How many "Watch Parties" will they allow a person to have per day? Will Facebook restrict, block or cause the feature to not work if they think that you are using it too much ? What's the limit ?
Hi Randy, I've tested this out a few times and I am yet to reach a "limit". So my advice to you is to be very strategic as to how many watch parties you post. Facebook does restrict you if they notice suspicious activity on any of their FB features, therefore, just be very careful and don't post soooo many watch parties where FB looks at your activity as suspicious and blocks you. I recommend this for any and all FB features. Hope this helps!
will Facebook de monitised your page if you make a watch party with a group your admin ... what if some one else *from your page fans *did that with a group eich not related or you not admin in..

Hi Tanya! I am so excited about trying a Watch Party! So, my side business, I do Live parties...and I am starting to do a lot of parties. It's getting to be a lot of work going Live for each party. So, can I do a watch party and it looks like it is Live in my parties? I am thinking of doing a party and using that one video for each of my Parties. I don't want to take away from my hostesses.....do the people in the party know that I am not actually Live? Thanks so much for your help! I am trying to "Work Smarter Not Harder." I have a party tonight, I am hoping it comes out great so I can use it in other parties as a Watch party. Thank You!
Hi Sheri. Thanks for your question! Yes, if you do a Watch Party, it might show that it was LIVE, but not LIVE anymore. You also have the option of uploading a pre-recorded video and using that video for your watch party. It doesn't have to be a Live stream. What is good about watch parties though is that you can be in attendance in the comments of the watch party and answer questions in the comments feed as the video is playing. So you don't have to worry about providing the content and answering questions at the same time. Hope this helps!

Hi Steve, great question. Just like your live videos, I would recommend the length to be the length that it needs to be in order to provide your viewers with great content. So if the topic requires a long explanation, go for it. The whole point is to keep your viewers hooked :)

If I share a watch party I can toggle back and forth between sellers watch party and theirs that I shared. I can communicate with my FB friends on mine but when I toggle back to original the seller can not see my comments until I close my shared watch party.
Also I don't know if original sellers can see my FB friends. How can my friends communicate with original live? Or do they have to join through the original to participate?
Are we doing something wrong or are the 2 parties not able to connect????

If you're able to tag them,then yes. But unfortunately you are only able to invite them onto the watch party at the moment.

If I can schedule a FB Live party, do I also receive a link prior to be able to share and promote on a different SoMe channel? Or would that only be the link to the Page that is hosting?
Hmmm great question. I'm not 100% sure. I believe you can share the reminder if you schedule it in advance through your business page.

I shared a FB live watch party.
I could see my FB friends signing on live and talk to them once they liked the page.
However as I toggled back and forth, I found I could comment on the original watch party group that I shared from BUT. ....they could not see my comments until I closed my watch party.
Also don't know if my friends could participate and purchase from original because they hopped into mine.
Thanks for the video! I'm having trouble hosting Facebook watch parties with newly uploaded videos that I don't want to be viewed in another group. I upload them into a public group that only has me & my team, then add it to my saved videos, then try to start the watch party in the group that I'm posting the watch party to. It's an episode that I want the group to watch live with me and not "cheat" or watch ahead which is why I post it in my team group first. I'm having all kinds of issues with that process of doing it. Does anyone have an easier way to do a NEW video in a watch party? I wish that Facebook would let us direct upload a new video into the watch party! That makes SO MUCH more sense!!

Hey girl, that would definitely help a ton. I struggle with similar situations. Unfortunately Facebook hasn't updated their features for Watch Parties just yet. As soon as FB realizes how popular these are, I'm sure they will upgrade their options.

The best option now is to do a FB Live. There is no FB Watch anymore and the "watch" tab has been renamed "Video" and will now be “the one-stop shop for everything video on Facebook” including Reels, livestreams and long-form videos.
