I mean, it was his own fault. He knew he was about to be overtaken and not wanting to lose the position, he took the inside line while being the outside car. There was nothing #2 could've done to avoid that collision. Had he left a car width between himself and the apex, he would've lost the position but not 8 like he did.

The important thing to note here is that in the game both parties know they are participating, and both have the ability to chicken out, whereas in this race #2 couldn't have known #1 would do something as stupid as take the inside line while being the outside car, so there was absolutely nothing he could've possibly done once both began braking. This was a simple bad decision on #1's part.

I can't help thinking these cars are just cute! They raise a wheel at the corners like a dog who wants a scratch and at the jumps they're landing so plush like a cat. I want to hug them!
Thanks Robby G for bringing Baja off road racing to the city streets. This sh.. is over the top! Ramp cam showing trucks launching 10' in air and landing 70' from jump is insane. Throw in some rugby and a little ballet and we get the most exciting racing out there!

I see the obsession with running off-road classes on smooth surfaces has worked its way into full-size racing. EDIT: Just for some background, I used to race 1/8th scale nitro buggy. I've seen how tracks have gone from soft, loamy surfaces to hard-packed "blue groove" tracks because most people wanted that higher-bite surface. Personally, I preferred being able to whip the rear end out a bit in a tight turn and I liked how the softer surfaces were easier on the tires.

What a start! Wish the tracks were wider to allow for more overtaking. Obviously that's what they're going for with the competion cautions, but it doesn't seem to be quite enought for much overtaking.

Our trucks handle like shit and we like it that way.
