Quite a number of people had this in their suggested list. This will likely help improve popularity of this sport. I find this absolutely entertaining.
The non paved circuits are trophy truck ciruits quite a bit different vehicles stadium trucks are more similar to nascars but on a truck suspension trophy trucks are all about massive torque and off roading so the dirt circuits are the trucks used in races like the mint 400.
Edward Burek The trucks are actually really safe. the fact that the dude was able to just walk off the crash at the end (I mean his truck did a mid-aid pirouette) is a testament to these trucks durability.
I've just been thinking that I've never seen these run in the rain. Is it just a fluke of nature or is it like a go/no go kind of thing for weather? Edit: Welp, got my answer. Just went through the catalog and found the Watkins Glen '17 race in the wet.
Luyendyk getting turned around was because of the low pressure area behind the truck in front of him. It really sucked him around when he was already a bit unsettled. That isn't an issue you see at low speeds, but that isn't a low speed corner.
They move it from under the hood so if there's damage the fluid containers don't get damaged pretty much. I think too because of all the suspension travel they have to move them too.
These things are always popular at Mid Ohio. If you dip after the IndyCar race you're missing the entire show

Pretty cool, I've never seen stadium trucks running on a paved circuit before.

I like to hear the engines roar more than the announcers to be honest lol
I agree %100
Ditto ditto!
Watching this series for the first time - LOOK AT THE LEAN OF THOSE TRUCKS!!! Do they ever roll over during a race??
there is usual at lest one that will roll depends on the severity if they can flip it back over and keep going, most of the time they rip a wheel off
@@Echo0fafightr Looks dangerous - and hilarious at the same time

34:53 leaning line
I’m always there on the practice and qualifying day but can never make race day.
I'll never understand why the uploaders just can't state the race numbers on the title so we can follow in sequence!
The video game to this has got be awesome...lmao

Yes... glad to see luyendyk win
They gotta fill out the field more, there should be 20 trucks minimum. I'd love to see a field of 42.

They did one in Toronto back in 2014 I guess

Where's Robbie, Is he OK?
I think he runs the Baja this time of year.
Hey, What's the purpose of the bottles (and of the fluid) on the right side of the cockpit?
They move it from under the hood so if there's damage the fluid containers don't get damaged pretty much. I think too because of all the suspension travel they have to move them too.
Thank you for answer. So there is a hydraulic fluid is for suspension? I'm suprised it's not overpressurized.
Window washing fluid
@@Sursion They also store turning indicator fluid in there, most forget about the all important Turning Indicator Fluid!
@@cluelessbeekeeping1322 Hey! You forgot about the muffler bearings, how could you! Lol.
Do this trucks have gears?
these* and yes.
They are running Powerglide transmissions.
119 COOL 👍👍👍
Its truck racing! Where's the jumps!!!! They aren't stock cars.
My thoughts exactly!!!!
I counted three.
How is that start fair lol
would be brilliant for the sport if we could get kanye west behind the wheel for a season..
Are these all spec trucks? They all look identical. If so, pretty boring. Just like NHRA Pro Stock.
Roger Beutler You're right and they even have girly stickers in stead of proper manly headlights :)
Mandatory yellow flags? The fuck?
noss, que carros horriveis!! feio de ver andando todo manco desse jeito!
