Something else I realized about this movie: ClapTrap says he is the last one of his kind. Which doesn’t make sense( I understand this movie doesn’t make sense) since his kind doesn’t die until a little before BL2.
It makes sense just fine. The whole movie is like a mad libs using borderlands lore. Shaken and stirred creating something that resembles the franchise. It makes just as much sense as Roland being short, Lilith being 50, Tannis being 70, Tina being a clone, etc.
The more you analyze it, the less sense it makes. Tiny Tina's backstory in the games revolves around being a guinea pig for Hyperion to test slag's effects on humans, and her fixation on explosives come from the fact it was grenade that saved her from such a fate. Knoxx being a diverse strong woman instead of the extremely depressive old man who didn't end his days only because you arrived at the right time to do it instead, is an absolute betrayal to the original character. Threshers being on Pandora makes no sense because they were supposed to live only on Elpis at this moment in the storyline.
If they wanted the "child of eridia" plotline (which is still idiotic) they could've had it where tina had ancient Eridian DNA spliced into her, hence why Atlas is so keen on retrieving her. She's not his daughter, she's a company asset
As someone that has around 2,500 hours of gameplay across all the borderlands games, i feel relatively confident in saying that i have played more than everyone combined that worked on this movie.
As someone who has maybe 300-700 hours on only each of the mainline games I feel very confident in saying that I have played considerably more than everyone who worked on that movie combined
As someone who has played for about a minute on borderlands 1, I can confirm I have played much more than everyone combined that has worked on this movie
They missed also point of humor that is SITUATIONAL in Borderlands games and not INTENTIONAL. For example, multiple time there is an dialogue when either character says something but twists words by mistake and that something comes out as inaproperiate or villain tries to taunt you but is bad with words and comes out with funny pun instead. In movie they made it opposite while characters are trying to be played seriously, but every 5 lines of dialogue they say either cringe joke or assault someone based on how they look.
The show is getting sued by Gina Carano over her firing from the show by Taking Disney and Lucas Film along with Bob Iger and Kathleen Kennedy to court . Scarlett Johansson did that with Disney and Marvel over Black Widow and she was successful
Damn.... that Kevin Hart segment was AMAZING well explained. Luke you said, It's actually pretty wild how Kevin Hart UNDERSTOOD Roland character for the movie than Randy P. Mindblown
Only reason I wanted to see it was to get the Claptrap popcorn bucket. Then I had second thoughts saying to myself, ‘Is it even worth seeing a bad movie?’ Yeah……good call.
I think it would’ve been interesting to like, see Krieg & Maya’s story more in depth for the movie. Cuz they’re the only few characters who have a relationship that needs proper developing. That or the B-Team side story.
I've been saying since the cast dropped "oh this is like a 90's video game movie". No one involved cared about the source material just the big named blockbuster actors they work with.
Randy Pitchford seems to be so happy about his franchise and company bursting into flames because he doesn't know how to stop felating himself for making HL Opposing Force and BL2 25 and 10 years ago jesus fuck we are old
To be fair about Roland, in Borderlands 1 he has some goofy ass quips he says when he kills things or gets loot such as: "It's like christmas!", "Woo! Time to get up in this!". "Elite, my ass.", and "Mowin' 'em down, haha!" He only became uber serious in Borderlands 2. But still the one in the movie is like some weird mish mash instead of sticking to one or the other.
If Borderlands was to be removed from Randy Pitchford's idea-making organ, it'd have the potential to be one the great franchises in not just gaming, but other entertainment mediums.
I'm 2 months late, but her parents weren't killed by raiders. They were killed by Hyperion - They were used a test subjects in Slag Mutation Experiments.
Why not have a boarderlands movie following a bunch of people working for atlas that get stranded on pandora, hijinks ensue,See atlas doing some fucked up shit to innocent people of pandora, they defect, but instead of joining the crimson raiders, they just become bandits. This would show how pandora makes monsters/madmen out of everyone
claptrap honestly, even if people liked him alot in this movie, just felt like horrible compared to the games tbh, in the games hes annoying but never on purpose, he tries to help as much as he can and make gags aswell but he never entirely hinders progress purposefully, in the movie however, he just constantly feels like what he does to be annoying is mostly on purpose just to do it and for the sake of comedy in the moment, almost actually feels like a watered down ava than claptrap truthfully
This movie would had been good had the writers followed the characters and story correctly from Borderlands 1 or just do Borderlands 2's Story. Never understood why Hollywood doesn't follow simple plots of the video game stories.
if we had. a new director and correctly cast actors and followed the story of Borderlands 2 correctly using Handsome Jack as the main villain there could be hope of redemption.
I think the main problem is the people that worked on the movie considering that no one that was involved in the movie even touched the game or the franchise and probably new nothing about either of them so the characters, the movie, and just the whole idea they had in general just ruined it. I hope borderlands 4 doesn't crash and burn the same way that new tales and the borderlands movie did.
The casting was problematic but the actors chosen understood the assignment and did the best they could with what they had. Unfortunately, what they had was Randy Pichford making bad direction choices.
General Knoxx here - this will be my final entry, I'm ending it today. after years of production unimaginable staffing changes and 4000 cuts and changes to what could have been one of the best film adaptations of a franchise loved by millions. Eli Roth sent me the Finalised version of the script, the papers were all stained with I don't know what but all of the pages said 'Cate Blanchett is cool' *sigh* and he spelled Cate and Cool with a K. General Knoxx out. For good.
I have to say, I think all the cast did a good job acting for what they were given. I didn't enjoy who the characters were made to be, but I liked the actors in the roles.
they're good actors, just given bad roles. the plot was scuffed to start with and the director wanted to work with his favorite actors. he didn't care about if the actors fit said roles.
My biggest gripe with this age and the movie is...its PG13. i feel like you could get away wtih that in a rated r movie but with a PG13 you are sanitizing it and if youre 13-15 it looks like a movie full of grandparents.
This is what I mean when I say video game adaptations are put in the hands of people who have no interest in the original games. They didn’t bother to get someone who wanted to be faithful to the games. The director was only concerned with making money and meeting his favorite celebrities
Exactly. This was a networking gig for him. You know the old saying. "Its not what you know, its who you know." Well, he wanted to expand who he knows.
Unfortunately, I think there's enough evidence to say that this was not a film meant for fans of the game. Even if it was intended to be. The people put in charge, not the actors, just used this film as a springboard to meet celebrities, and or attempt to gain clout with them. Mad respect for Kevin Hart for coming in knowing the character.
Do they know how HUGE this could have been? All this material from several games. So many different characters. The different locations, enemies, cars, guns.. where were the GUNS? I mean thats what the games were about! It had so much potential and all we got was lilith's grandmother and well.. Kevin fucking Hart. As Roland. REALLY?!
Everytime someone brings up the borderland movie- Me: [Gets the cross and holy water] Friend: [Grabs the shot gun] Tiny Tina (Real): “ Time for some crumpets and death people!” [Pulls out all her bombs] One desolation of Hollywood later… Me, Friend, Tiny Tina, riding a horse (Stolen): [wearing shades and Slow-mo walking with explosions in the background] Me: “ -Ah!” [Trips on a minions doll] Friend: [Face palm] Tiny Tina: “ YELLOW DEVIL!!!” [Takes out bombs] Me: “ NO WAIT-“ EXPLOSION
Yeah that he meant he didn’t mind not be the funny guy. Hell there are times where Roland personally does sometimes comes across funny and awkward. We not saying he can’t make jokes but like Kevin heart said Roland is a man attached to do the right thing. So his character is about being caring despite how terrible, he still tries to care for the people. Like making obvious jokes that himself wouldn’t get, until others point it out. Because is he a soldier so he meant to be serious
This has to be at least top 5 worse adaptation movies equivalent to the anime and cartoon live action ones such as, _"Dragonball Evolution"_ (2009) and, _"Avatar: The Last Air Bender"_ (2010)
Borderlands 1+2 and TFTB 1 was just straight awesomeness from start to finish. Especially BL2 which is no shock to anyone but I just don’t know if BL4 will be any good story wise. How do these new writers top Handsome Jack? My fav video game villain of all time! I’ve wondered had Anthony Burch (lead writer for BL2) never left Gearbox would the series still be as great as BL2 with him calling the shots? Sorry for rambling his writing/darkhumor I admire so much. 😊Thanks for this video.
I don't really see it getting any better. Everything after Pre-Sequel hasn't been that good since it leaned into the comedy as far as it did with characters not shutting up when need be. The damage has been done and hope Rand is happy with how he paved his road to hell and what he did that litters the sides of it.
They've said that they want to be more original, rather than get bogged down in resolving what's going on with old characters. I understand the urge, trying to catch up with everyone is a losing battle and they want their newer writers to be able to get their creative muscles to work instead of working on characters they didn't create. However, I honestly feel like most original characters in BL3/Wonderlands are underwhelming overall. With a few standout exceptions, everything feels like a filler arc. Eg. I like Clay, but his Rogues arc is unbelievably forgettable
1 and 2 were the best, tps was just an add on for 2 and only really added on with handome jacks story, showing that the vault hunters made him who he was in 2. Tales is alright. 3 was absolute dogshit and I don't care about any 'muh gamplay' response because the story about the instatwat twins was beyond cringe. Ntftb is somehow even worse. 4 is probably going to be beyond dogshit.
When an "adaptation" has a character fully CGI animated/animatronic/anything that has a voice over... What possible reason is there not to just get the original VA? Or at least someone who sounds close enough if you can't get the VA. I love Jack Black, but getting him for Claptrap was pretty telling on where their priorities lie.
That last section of how Roland was portrayed in the movie against even the actor’s expectations, haunts me over what happened with the Tales characters in BL3. Worried about how the old characters would portray in BL4.
the one part of this that I disagree with is Tanis' character not having anything to do with her age and so the casting choice is fine. I disagree. The way I always interpreted Tanis and her characterization in the first game was that originally when coming to Pandora she was a fresh-faced researcher with very little real world experience immediately thrust into the deep end of things and that breaks her mind completely and utterly. she's so completely deranged because of the trauma of daily life in such a brutal and hostile environment, particularly when she had to hide under the corpses of her coworkers to survive. Obviously the film changes her characterization drastically so that it doesn't match the game's version, but that should be more of a knock against it imo.
I just realized, as an example of the "picking up loot and testing it out" concept not present: just imagine a fight scene ending, someone picks up a rare smg, pick it up saying "ooh, hyperion, looks promising..." pull the trigger and it goes AAAAASAHEHEHDHEHEH only for them to drop it with a "oh god, never mind"
I am a diehard Borderlands fan. My brother and I grew up playing it together and it was some of the most fun ever. There isn't a single one I haven't played and the only one I never finished was the Tell-Tale series. 2 and 3 I've sunk HUNDREDS of hours into EACH. I couldn't have been more hyped for a movie than this one. I saw the casting and was skeptical but gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed Gearbox and 2k were just doing their usual bullshit jokes and actually had a quality control plan. I sat through MAXIMUM 35 minutes of the movie before I walked out.
I think Tina is the worst thing about the movie. They had this beloved, crazy, interesting, tragic character and they ruined her by trying to make her into more than she was, and ended up making her much less than she should have been. But I mean, there are so many "worst" things you could choose from. It's almost like they actually tried to make a terrible adaptation of the game. It seriously seems like that must have been their intention.
Its wild how bad and absolutely made for no one this ended up being.. no action skills, no crazy guns, bad writing, characters are not themselves at all.. there was two cool bits that got a emotion out of me, the jump through the tresher over pishwashgully and right at the end when Lilit was allowed to Firehawk just a bit, not too much tho, we don't want to have fun now do we 😒
U forgot to mention how tina had a bazooka should could have use but at next scene we come back to tina she just suddenly no longer had the bazooka in her hands
I only watched 25 minutes of Borderlands before walking out of the theatre, but somehow watched all 58 minutes of this video about everything wrong with the movie, lol
I think the main problem with it is that I think the actors never played this game or even watched their corresponding characters in the game. Coz like, I know actors would point things out with the director if they feel that some things should be done with the character that they portray. I mean, I get that the large part of the movie would be in accordance to the screen writer and director to be a fan of the game they are trying to make a film out of just like the last of us. BUT it would also help that the actors themselves are also into or have studied the game much like Henry Cavil who is a gamer.
#1: this should have been a show. #2: they could've literally done what tales from the borderlands did and have a random group of shmucks stumble upon a vault related secret.
Unironically, the movie format probably also screwed it as well. While I wouldn't have faith in it, I imagine a web series or even a dreaded "netflix tv series" would of worked a lot better, allowing time to flesh out each character and not squash the plot down into such a finite amount of time. Plus, easy enough to make each season revolve around the stories in the games, imagine the original vault hunters having to fight Dr. Ned's zombies in show, or an introduction of General Knoxx hating his coworkers.
My personal head cannon, it's an AU where Lilith didn't get siren powers til she was older, Tina had to be a kid when the vault opened for some reason Atlas CEO knew so he kept cloning her. The 4th game can explain it with the Timekeeper lol
it's insane to me how Lilith not being a siren invites so many inconsistencies. Why can she open the vault? because she is "the child of Eridia". Why can she move around in side the vault without being seen? because she gets Eridium powers out of nowhere.
Minor correction, canon Claptrap actually would be happy to see any of the original 4 VHs dead, because that's literally what he was created to do. He was the INAC, or Interplanetary Ninja Assassin Claptrap, and was sent to cause the deaths of the original 4 through subtle sabotage, terrible directions, and catty rumours, once the Vault was opened.
Isn't Joe Crombie/Joseph Abercrombie a fairly well-known author under the name Joe Abercrombie? He's a fantasy writer that wrote The First Law. That said, I can't find any references to the movie on his website or wikipedia page, but its possible the Joe Crombie credited is Joe Abercrombie.
51:57 Roland is indeed a comedic character. The mere juxtaposition of a character like him and the wackiness of everyone surounding him, makes him funny. He brings a really unique humour to the table as he's the only captain america like character as you said. The point about Kevin Heart still stands though.
The most entertaining part about the borderlands movie as a super casual fan of the games was glancing over to my friend tweaking in his seat as time went on 😂
Another thing im noticing is the heavy use of green screen etc. the characters look out of place when they are in the same scene as the action. But when its out of focus they suddenly are normal looking?
I would have forgiven this movie if in the Caustic Caverns, Roland put down his Subre Torret and faught along side it with his SMG, then after beating all the bandits, he realised that his torret has potential, he upgrades it to where it can heal and shoot rockets (like at the end of his skill tree in the first game) and uses it at the final battle.
I think you slightly missed the mark with the point of the vaults, unless you were being cheeky. A lot of them aren’t lootboxes, and they definitely don’t have traditional treasure. We saw that in game one, obviously. The vault was made to seal away a universe-ending threat; I kinda wish it stayed that way.
I couldn't imagine ether choosing to pass on borderlands game or just never knowing about it until this movie comes out. Then based on this movie coming out wanting to give the games a try. Literally only the outcry of fans vs movie could I see someone wanting to see how bad of an injustice it was.
it's bothering me that you didn't point out that in canon, tina's parents were killed by a psycho, so the whole entire starting plotline is nonsensical. i know the movie wasn't going to care, but TINA HAS NO PARENTS!! people should know that
I was coming to say this same thing pretty much and some more tina already had a good backstory in 2 with fleshstick selling her parents out to Hyperion and her dad saying look away before he gets slagged them having her use a red grenade her mother gave her to escape her mom saying i love you tina and then Tina's revenge via her tea party i think it would have been better to do a movie based off events we didn't see between 1 and 2 like Roland finding tina and them dealing with general rancid together
My friend told me he was loving borderlands 3 (a game him and I started playing not too long ago) so much he gave the movie a try. He told me it was worse than he could have ever imagined
This movie also continues with the annoying trend of Lilith worshipping that the series got into ever since the pre sequel. It wasn’t noticeable at first but the series started to glorify her more and more and it’s becoming annoying. Same with Tannis. Hope this won’t impact the next game
Did TPS start that trend? I remember the last DLC for BL2, Fight For Sanctuary, really kissing Lilith's ass, but I don't recall TPS doing it. If anything, I remember that TPS caused a lot of fans to begin to hate Lilith for trying to have Athena killed in cold blood.
@@GreenDinoRanger It wasn’t much at first, which is. Why I said wasn’t noticeable at first. But Lilith got an unusual amount of glory, that she didn’t really deserve in that game. She helped take back Helios, she got to punch the vault symbol into Jacks face, she was the commander that ordered Athena’s execution. It wasn’t much but it started with this game

Threshers being on Pandora makes no sense because they were supposed to live only on Elpis at this moment in the storyline.
wow, I have to give my apologizes to Kevin Heart now. Mad respect for at least arguing with greasy randy to stay faithful
If Tina is an Eridian clone, does that mean the Eridians were just humans?
@@antney7745 that's a good point
That would be so lameeeeeeee, all the entire universe and everything just comes back to humans 😅
If they wanted the "child of eridia" plotline (which is still idiotic) they could've had it where tina had ancient Eridian DNA spliced into her, hence why Atlas is so keen on retrieving her. She's not his daughter, she's a company asset
So apparently Kevin Heart *wanted* to make Roland more serious along the lines of the game, but Eli Roth stopped him every time.
As someone that has around 2,500 hours of gameplay across all the borderlands games, i feel relatively confident in saying that i have played more than everyone combined that worked on this movie.
As someone with around 1,000 hours combined I feel relatively confident in saying so have I
As someone who has maybe 300-700 hours on only each of the mainline games I feel very confident in saying that I have played considerably more than everyone who worked on that movie combined
As someone who has played for about a minute on borderlands 1, I can confirm I have played much more than everyone combined that has worked on this movie
As someone who watched the borderlands 2 trailer I think I know more than the writers team
As someone who watched a joltzdude video one time, I can confidently say I have more knowledge about borderlands than the creators of the movie
In movie they made it opposite while characters are trying to be played seriously, but every 5 lines of dialogue they say either cringe joke or assault someone based on how they look.
and should have made film rated R to uncensor the gore.
Mandallorian S01 was how you do Borderlands live action. every episode felt like a mission on Pandora.
The show is getting sued by Gina Carano over her firing from the show by Taking Disney and Lucas Film along with Bob Iger and Kathleen Kennedy to court .
Scarlett Johansson did that with Disney and Marvel over Black Widow and she was successful
Well shit. You're right, borderlands is literally built for episodic format
55:18 this whole part made my jaw drop. Like I have never seen a director not care about the original product he's adapting ever in my life
Damn.... that Kevin Hart segment was AMAZING well explained.
I actually would’ve bought a ticket just to get the bucket and left, I didn’t even know they were serving those now I want one.
@@Cloudy_Jones woah a Claptrap popcorn bucket? That would have been hella cool as a collector item
Dutch was taking Lilith to Tahiti but she said she isn’t a vault hunter so he dropped her off
Just have some god damn faith!
He HAS a PLAN. He just needs some MONEY
I think it would’ve been interesting to like, see Krieg & Maya’s story more in depth for the movie. Cuz they’re the only few characters who have a relationship that needs proper developing. That or the B-Team side story.
When you give a middle finger to the source material. You get this movie
they pulled a bad Woke of Time
@@GuitarsAndSynthsused the word woke = opinion discarded
"wastin' daylight, foo!" Love that guy
If Borderlands was to be removed from Randy Pitchford's idea-making organ, it'd have the potential to be one the great franchises in not just gaming, but other entertainment mediums.
Randy is running borderlands into the ground...
The fact that Brick and Mordecai wasn't in the movie was all I needed to know it would be a bad movie.
respect for reminding me to hate this movie 🔥
I knew from the trailer they had no clue WTF they were doing.
you mean from the casting news?
12:37 sorry but Tina is crazy cos she watched both her parents get killed by raiders. She has nothing to do with atlas
Thank you for actually analyzing it and not defaulting to "It'S wOkE"
Especially since Borderlands has been “woke” since like, the first game.
claptrap honestly, even if people liked him alot in this movie, just felt like horrible compared to the games tbh, in the games hes annoying but never on purpose, he tries to help as much as he can and make gags aswell but he never entirely hinders progress purposefully, in the movie however, he just constantly feels like what he does to be annoying is mostly on purpose just to do it and for the sake of comedy in the moment, almost actually feels like a watered down ava than claptrap truthfully
Imagine if it comes out that Joe Crombie was actually an AI
I think the main problem is the people that worked on the movie considering that no one that was involved in the movie even touched the game or the franchise and probably new nothing about either of them so the characters, the movie, and just the whole idea they had in general just ruined it. I hope borderlands 4 doesn't crash and burn the same way that new tales and the borderlands movie did.
Dude Randy Pichford OWNS the company that made the games and he was a producer and a writer. Ignorance wasn't the problem. Arrogance was.
02:56 Randy unironically looking like Weird AL. What a guy
We are watching our favourite franchises die and burn in flames
I can't wait for gearbox to make a borderlands 1 remake using the plot from the fucking movie. What an embarrassment
idc what anyone says knox just dyin outta nowhere is the most borderlands death in the entire movie lol
Alien Romulus destroyed this movie at the box office. That's karma, Randy.
My biggest gripe with this age and the movie is...its PG13. i feel like you could get away wtih that in a rated r movie but with a PG13 you are sanitizing it and if youre 13-15 it looks like a movie full of grandparents.
Yeah. PG-13 ain't what it used to be.
As Roland. REALLY?!
I've been waiting for this..
Your BGM choices are among the best on yt
Everytime someone brings up the borderland movie-
Me: [Gets the cross and holy water]
Friend: [Grabs the shot gun]
Tiny Tina (Real): “ Time for some crumpets and death people!” [Pulls out all her bombs]
One desolation of Hollywood later…
Me, Friend, Tiny Tina, riding a horse (Stolen): [wearing shades and Slow-mo walking with explosions in the background]
Me: “ -Ah!” [Trips on a minions doll]
Friend: [Face palm]
Tiny Tina: “ YELLOW DEVIL!!!” [Takes out bombs]
Me: “ NO WAIT-“
EXPLOSION
Lmao
Randy's fanboy admission of being the reason Roland ended up how he was when in reality Kevin Hart had full intent of staying true to Roland....wow
I believe the movie encapsulates all the problems the series has developed
This has to be at least top 5 worse adaptation movies equivalent to the anime and cartoon live action ones such as, _"Dragonball Evolution"_ (2009) and, _"Avatar: The Last Air Bender"_ (2010)
At least DBE was so bad it was funny, this movie is just bad all around.

All we can do is pray
I don’t wanna see one of my favorite franchises go down in flames
I don't really see it getting any better. Everything after Pre-Sequel hasn't been that good since it leaned into the comedy as far as it did with characters not shutting up when need be. The damage has been done and hope Rand is happy with how he paved his road to hell and what he did that litters the sides of it.
@@mistermann4163 I miss the early 2010s.
The moment the cast was announced the movie was already dead. Why not just cast the old lady from Titanic as Lilith while at it.
Well, I expected this video… I’m not sure if I’m prepared to watch it. But I’ll try. Thank you for covering it
that’s crazy how u even have a thought to even watch that
I just realized, as an example of the "picking up loot and testing it out" concept not present: just imagine a fight scene ending, someone picks up a rare smg, pick it up saying "ooh, hyperion, looks promising..." pull the trigger and it goes AAAAASAHEHEHDHEHEH only for them to drop it with a "oh god, never mind"
The crazy thing is the first game would make a great movie.
I only watched 25 minutes of Borderlands before walking out of the theatre, but somehow watched all 58 minutes of this video about everything wrong with the movie, lol
at least I watched for free and then played games first time and realized how trash the movie was. Same deal with Wheel of Time show versus books.
Something went wrong with a gearbox product? And Randy Pitchford was the reason it was bad? Wow.....its almost like thats what he always dos
He was the INAC, or Interplanetary Ninja Assassin Claptrap, and was sent to cause the deaths of the original 4 through subtle sabotage, terrible directions, and catty rumours, once the Vault was opened.
correct and you have a quest in BL1 to fight army of them and giant Knoxx robot boss too
Dutch’s voice actor being Marcus is the best part about this movie.
and i was just checking your channel yesterday, lovely

Isn't Joe Crombie/Joseph Abercrombie a fairly well-known author under the name Joe Abercrombie? He's a fantasy writer that wrote The First Law.
That said, I can't find any references to the movie on his website or wikipedia page, but its possible the Joe Crombie credited is Joe Abercrombie.
"The Borderlands Movie was Awful"
In other news, licking doorknobs is illegal on other planets.
51:57 Roland is indeed a comedic character. The mere juxtaposition of a character like him and the wackiness of everyone surounding him, makes him funny. He brings a really unique humour to the table as he's the only captain america like character as you said. The point about Kevin Heart still stands though.
52:48 Why did they give one of Axton’s lines to Kevin Hart/Roland?
The most entertaining part about the borderlands movie as a super casual fan of the games was glancing over to my friend tweaking in his seat as time went on 😂
I have never seen a single movie with Kevin heart in it that i liked. So when i read he was going to play Roland I gave up all hope
Another thing im noticing is the heavy use of green screen etc. the characters look out of place when they are in the same scene as the action. But when its out of focus they suddenly are normal looking?
Kevin heart wants to not be known as “comedian” Kevin heart. But rather as combat action star Mr. Kevin heart. 😅
Hart tried.
@ you’re a simp
I would have forgiven this movie if in the Caustic Caverns, Roland put down his Subre Torret and faught along side it with his SMG, then after beating all the bandits, he realised that his torret has potential, he upgrades it to where it can heal and shoot rockets (like at the end of his skill tree in the first game) and uses it at the final battle.
damn that actor bate thing.... I didn't know that was a thing
money is a powerful drug
I think you slightly missed the mark with the point of the vaults, unless you were being cheeky. A lot of them aren’t lootboxes, and they definitely don’t have traditional treasure. We saw that in game one, obviously. The vault was made to seal away a universe-ending threat; I kinda wish it stayed that way.
Lilith wasn't on Pandora as a child, she was born on Dionysus and came to Pandora as an adult.
0:05 I haven’t seen him for years! He looks creepy… way more creepy than the last time I saw him. Then again, he’s always acted creepy, so it fits.
I couldn't imagine ether choosing to pass on borderlands game or just never knowing about it until this movie comes out. Then based on this movie coming out wanting to give the games a try.
Literally only the outcry of fans vs movie could I see someone wanting to see how bad of an injustice it was.
I am actually confident i could have written this movie better
it's bothering me that you didn't point out that in canon, tina's parents were killed by a psycho, so the whole entire starting plotline is nonsensical. i know the movie wasn't going to care, but TINA HAS NO PARENTS!! people should know that
I was coming to say this same thing pretty much and some more tina already had a good backstory in 2 with fleshstick selling her parents out to Hyperion and her dad saying look away before he gets slagged them having her use a red grenade her mother gave her to escape her mom saying i love you tina and then Tina's revenge via her tea party i think it would have been better to do a movie based off events we didn't see between 1 and 2 like Roland finding tina and them dealing with general rancid together
This movie is dragonball evolution levels of bad.
My friend told me he was loving borderlands 3 (a game him and I started playing not too long ago) so much he gave the movie a try. He told me it was worse than he could have ever imagined
The last flop that Gershon was in a film wayback in the 90’s called showgirls .
@@GreenDinoRanger
It wasn’t much at first, which is.
