2nd point made me laugh😂 but I totally understood the point. I would use "humble" instead of "stupid", tho I am not a native English speaker but I think stupid sounds kind of rude.

I would also suggest that it is expressing modesty as well; in that you are putting yourself lower than the other person. This is just something cultural. The use of “stupid” is quite funny (in a good way) but it definitely made the point across.

I guess we do this too in the US, but more direct and possibly more vulgar lol. For the first one, "Well I'm dumb as hell, I only speak English. I'm not cultured like you." Second one could be like, "I hate lame ass studying".

@@JapanesewithTaka Yes. In Japanese, what you wrote might be これ文法は人以外が何でも使える. My Japanese isn't that great right now but think what I wrote should make sense
PS: You wanted to mean "in addition to humans". "Other than" can mean "in addition" but it can also mean "with the exception of" and that's what it is implying here. English is a funny language. You can use the word "too" or "also" when you want to say that "X can be done not only by Y but also by Z too". Just add "too" at the end of the sentence. It's not the natural way to say it, but it gets the job done easily.
The natural way would be what you said later at 2:03 - "This grammar can be used not only by people but also by anyone""

Yes. This sentence has that’s kind of nuance.
why does "watashi nanka wa nihongo shika hanasenai yo" mean "I can only speak japanese"?? The verb is "hanasenai" which means "don't speak", so I thought that would mean "I can't even talk japanese".
Look up ''Shika'' as a grammar point.
It means ''only'' but it's always used with negative verbs.

So it's like her kinda saying "Wow I'm so stupid we really came here just for me to order this for you?"
