Great reaction .... no DragonForce in this one - Herman Li and Sam Totman did record the guitars for 'Road of Resistance' but that was in 2015 and that song was on the second album in 2016. 'Arkadia was from the third album released 2019.
'Arkadia' is the third song of the three that make up the Trilogy of Lights and that are the last 3 songs on the album. The first two songs are 'Starlight' and 'Shine'.
As a Trilogy they describe the stages of emotion we go through after losing somebody close - so yes they are deep ... not all BABYMETAL songs are 'Gimme Chocolate'.
'Starlight' describes the initial shock, anger and grief.
'Shine' is about accepting the loss, coming to terms with what has happened.
'Arkadia' is about moving on, never forgetting but looking towards a hopeful future and all the better things yet to come.
wow i did not even know they worked with Herman and Sam it just seemed inspired a bit by that song like has similiar part or notes ... nothing bad ... and yea the grief part is WOW i did get that kinda bu was nut sure am i imagining or is it real lol ... love this song :D
@@Finkreacts There are a couple of good performances for 'Road of Resistance' if you haven't heard it - the original 'live in Japan official' from 2015 (a lot of peoples' favourite) or live at PIA Arena April 2023.
If you dig even deeper you might find BABYMETAL and DragonForce playing it together at the Metal Hammer Awards in London 2015 .... the videos I've seen for that are not the best quality - still fun though.
