Mozart Symphony #39 mvt 4 Violin Excerpt Outtakes

My step-son was home sick yesterday so he helped me record my Mozart excerpt. It is my least-favorite excerpt because it's not really difficult. It's just a little awkward and has to be completely clean. Needless to say, there were many takes before I even got an average one.

nice video lol. u have amazing bow technique!! this excerpt is so difficult one mistake can throw you completely off. im currently learning this for an orchestra audition so wish me luck!!

Best of luck to you. This is one of the toughest, and it is almost always the first excerpt you will play at every audition.

keep working and practicing,you will succeed.your sound is actually quite good.there are some spots where you are heavy on the bow.try a slightly lighter touch

Not bad at all. Play it by heart…I’m sure you can by now. Concerning your bow… can you play spiccato, sautillé, leggiero etc. with it? The tension already looks a bit tight… is it a bit heavy?
