I don't know how I missed this the other day. Man, I've been wanting a proper lesson on this one for eons. You're one of those guys I can trust without all the iffy bullshit that's so prevalent on the youtubes. Thank you.
Queensryche are one of the greatest bands ever, you have great taste Nick! Degarmo and Wilton what a duo, Eddie Jackson a killer bassist, Rockenfield was an awesome drummer (loved his kit with the chains) and Tate is an all time legendary vocalist. This is a great lesson on a great track, my favorite tune on Mindcrime. Rock on Nick! 🤘🏼
Queensryche. Bellevue Washington Interlake Highschool, early eighties before the rise of grunge. Queensryche, Seventh Force and Fifth Angel are the "Bellevue sound" for those students of yours who have interest. Geoff Tate liked to go to Golds Gym Kirkland 1991. As an aside, Fifth Angel was from Bellevue. Epic records had the worst producers for Time Will Tell(89) i had no idea as a highschooler at Newport(bellevue) or i wouldve stalked the guy for guitar lessons. Fortunately Kendall Bechtel the lead guitar is still around, has a youtube channel, although Ted Pilot the singer is now a dental surgeon in Seattle. If inclined id be curious at your interpretation of the Time Will Tell album. Thanks for the lesson. If possible can you lengthen the solos you do before the lesson i like hearing you play.
Thanks for the comment and info. Yeah, I love Fifth Angel, both the first album with James Byrd and Time Will Tell with Kendall are great, still listen to them. I’ll do more playing for sure besides the lesson, thanks. Sometimes I’m just trying to keep the video to a reasonable length, but I also like hearing other players free form improv/jam.
Hey nick 1000 thanks for your videos ! Can you please make a lesson on Insanity by " king diamond " or melissa by " mercyful fate " would be so grateful doesn't hurt to ask thank you .
