Firstly i completely agree with everything you said, they are just good as a team and I wanted to highlight magixx in particular because I think you hadnt mentioned him a lot. And what i want to say kind of ties into the low ego point you made. Its the fact that on so many maps he's the one tanking his load out so donk and even zontix can have rifles. In particular I'd like to point out how he played almost the whole ct half against faze on nuke in the grand final with low to mid eco weapons and sure that's just a byproduct of ct in mr 12 but i have noticed thats its literally always him on every map thats tanking the shit buy and most of the time he still gets his 1 or 2 kills with it. While watching the grandfinals with my friends i said to them that to me he is kind of an unsung hero. He won a lot of clutches too if i remember correctly. But im not trying to say hes like a mechanical goat or whatever. Just that his role within the team is very selfless and I've not seen that point been made yet
mr12 bo1s at s-tier tournament level is utterly ridiculous.. 1st round, well ok I can live with that.. but 2 out of 3 rounds, 2 out of 4, 3 out of 4, 3 out of 5? With terrible seeding to boot? Nah, that's wack.
@@lyric_cyril Because just switching to MR12 was never going to be the end of BO1. Why did everyone expect that MR12 would do away with BO1. You have to get rid of Bucholz/Swiss to get rid of BO1.

Replacing all BO1s with BO3s while still keeping the Swiss/Buchholz system would make broadcasts longer not shorter. You would have to have 2 rounds of BO3s to seed the 3-5th rounds. It would be a longer broadcast that way. If you want to get rid of BO1s the only way to do it would be to get rid of Swiss/Buchholz and go to GSL format.

I dont like the last ugly point because other teams tried that. But they stop doing it because it creates friction. Over time people think is "we do all this for him and he doesnt perform" so all team go to a safer setup. The Interesting part with spirit will be if they keep doing it and if donk can just keep performing. This reminds me of freakazoid on cloud 9. They did something similar for him and it seemed to be working but he dropped off hard and lost his duels and entries and they stopped and it completely destroyed his and the teams confidence in him. So again, the thing is, if Spirit can just keep doing it and Donk deliver.

Watching niko and his results since faze broke up feels so weird to me. He gets big numbers and ratings for events but then at the same time I feel like every time g2 has the chance to turn the corner and be consistently as good as they should be on paper everything falls apart and he goes missing. Even during their rmr run the other day, he didn't wake up at all until almost OT on nuke after monesy went sicko mode in regulation. Prime niko was when niko was doing that kind of crap regularly and I miss it.

Thorin is dead on, as a 1.6 player nothing erks me more than the formats these CSGO/CS2 TO's showing one match at a time, it is fucking disgusting, pair this with a 2 week format makes it even worse, it kills the mood and the momentum

When device took health leave due to his mental health, this c un t was arguing something to the effect that device shouldn't get paid health leave (paid by the tax payer), even though device and NIP paid taxes in order to enable this health care system. On a spectrum between bad and fucking evil, his rant about mental health relating to karrigan was mid bad. His take arguing that device shouldn't get paid health leave was just evil. What a cun t.
