- Hi all, just wanted to share one of my Louis Vuitton repair service returns. Unfortunately due to the issues with the repair, it's going back to Louis Vuitton for the second time. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions.

I have this same bag. Two of them in fact, and I cannot believe I just found your video randomly. I sent in one for a zipper pull repair ONLY. Received a call from my advisor that it would be replaced with the “new model” smaller tab, which was fine with me. When I received my bag 8 weeks later, they had resized my bag. Yes, they tapered the top of the bag by about 2 centimeters. Completely ruining this very rare bag. The zipper was replaced and it’s off centered and already tearing at one end. I’m currently still waiting to hear back from my advisor. I cannot believe this level of service from Louis Vuitton.
Oh my goodness! Thats awful!! I am so sorry to hear that your super rare bag has now been ruined. I just don’t understand what is going on with them, its not like they are doing free repairs, they’ve raised their prices in fact! I really hope they get back to you and make it right with you 🫤
@@prettyinblush Thank you! I’m beginning to feel as if they’re trying to avoid me. I’ve now left several messages for my advisor and no response. Even if I start a chargeback with my CC company, they would probably only refund the repair. I don’t even know how they can make it right. It’s not like they can just send a new one. Not what you’d expect from a “luxury brand”.
Wow, I am shocked they'd give this bag back to you like this! I've done 2 full vachetta replacements and was impressed each time, this is so wrong
Thank you, couldnt believe my eyes when I took it out of the bag! Agreed, I have also had vachetta replaced on two other items in the last couple of years and they were great, not this time 😞 and their repair prices have gone up massively so no excuse for this type of ‘craftsmanship’ on a luxury item!
Do you mind sharing how much you paid for the repair? I can’t believe they did this to your bag.
@@ahfrikah I did a classic speedy 25 all outer vachetta replacement for about $700, and a mini Montsouris backpack full vachetta replacement for about $1000. These were done in 2022 after the price hike on repairs.

I’m so glad I came across your video! Thank you for posting. I have been hesitant to replace the leather on mine, but now I’m worried! The price to do it is just crazy too….. I wish it wasn’t so expensive! If you could go back in time, would you have done it?

Hi, absolutely, depending on what country you are in you can either contact the customer services or if you download the LV app there is a ‘Services’ section, you have to choose ‘Care services’ then ‘Request a new repair’ and then all you have to do is take some pictures of the item, they will come back to you with a quote that you can approve or deny, if you approve they will provide you with a shipping label and thats it you just need to send it off. Hope that helps 😊
Hello, I’m disappointed in what LV did to your rare speedy HL bag😕….for me unless the bag is unusable, I like the history and keep my bags the vintage look. I hope they make it right for you! PS wow what a great deal you got on the LV original monogram bumbag, 700lbs=895usd that’s great, they are going for 3-4thousand on some preloved sights! ……enjoy her it was the best bumbag LV has ever made!💓
