My first scent memory, as young as I can remember, has to be the smell of freshly washed sheets spread over a powered bed. My mum used Ushindi bar soap back in the day and would rinse all the sheets till the water was clear. She'd lightly dust my bed with baby powder before spreading the clean sheets. Oh my goodness ,to this day fresh and powdery notes have a special place in my heart. I associate those notes with cleanliness and affordable luxury. Something that can be achieved without breaking the bank.

My first memorable scent , is of a gentleman probably in his 50s, we were both shopping in Kisii naivas former nakumatt, back in 2016. The scent was heavenly, more of a rich man vybe... I still up to date smell the scent on my memory, I still remember him on a blue suit, I wish I got the courage to ask him what scent he was having..

Up to date I find it to be such a wonderful scent and the best part is falling asleep to that! It’s wonderful 😍😍

I remember when my younger brother was born he smelt so pure and clean..I used to let him clench my finger for a while so that the scent would transfer ..later on I came to learn that it was Johnson's baby oil. I get nostalgic when I smell it now; I associate it with Purity and love.

Auntie Soft is here!🥰 And as her team we are camping here too! Such a sweet soul!🤩
My first fragrance memory was a perfume I bought from a certain Somali lady that I bought after my KCPE. And the memory attached to it is that I sprayed it to my first 'class' crush' scarf as I returned it to him so that he'll not forget me as we proceeded to different high schools!
    Ooh poor Anne 😂😂😂😂

Kathy and Angel, thank you very much. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the video.
First perfume memory is my aunt leaving a trail of Samsara every time she visited us.
And I always associate my first time at Holy Family as a kid when I smell incense.

My first scent memory is petrichor(the first smell of rain). I often associate it with home and my childhood. As kids, we'd play in the rain without a care in the world and I think a part of me mourns for those simpler times. I'd like to believe that wherever I am I can always feel like a kid again, just by that smell.

My first memory of fragrance is fuel ⛽️. Raised around a garage dad having a spare parts shop, you could always smell something car part like. At home I remember smelling mama, she was a teacher and always looked good and I don’t know what she used but it was on one of those small roller bottles from waalalo but this specific one smelled soo good and longevity lasted all day.

The way Angel knows her scents! Wow! Thanks for having her Cathy.
My first scent memory is Givenchy Gentleman that my uncle wa majuu wore and later gifted my mom. I still have the box to date. Another favourite scent memory is Adidas Deodorant Spray (Fruity Rhythm). I had just gone to boarding school and really pushed my mom to buy me perfume so that I smell as good as the kids from Nairobi. I had days when bees would buzz around my armpits 🤣🤣🤣

Ladygay reminds me of my mum and signifies motherly love and safety.
Mum showing up at home bearing a gift - a new dress, a pair of shoes, or just tropical sweets that seemed to live in her handbag.
The ladygay scent was the calming reassurance in her room whenever scared little me moved there in the middle of a rainy night with particularly loud thunderstorms.
Ladygay was the scent that wafted through the house in the morning when she was getting ready for work and little me knew that mum was awake, alive and well. That the world was safe.

My first scent memory is my mother leaving the house every morning. I remember it being a mixture of her clean from the shower, lathered in her body lotion and face cream, deodorant on and her perfume. It was the best part of everyday, just waking up to that and it inspired me to always strive to smell like a clean, delicate woman who lets her scent speak for her first, just as my mother always did.

My first fragrance memory was my dad's aftershave, I don't remember which one it was, but I can remember the scent. I find it so comforting and pleasant and it reminds me of the times my dad would carry me and I would get close to his chin and enjoy the smell of his aftershave. At a later point in life I used to put it on my clothes when going to school 💀😂.

These two togeza is a vibe! I can't wait to see you on Angel's channel ☺️.
My first fragrance memory is Revlon lotion on my mom. Roses and Cocoa butter, funny enough she worked in a hospital and you'll know that hospital scent we've been schooled about but it didn't matter who she crossed pats with, you'd smell Roses and Cocoa Butter on her. When I went to high school all I ever used was Revlon to remind me of her, it didn't even help that she's named Rose 🤣

My first scent fragrance was during the post election violence. I had relatives come live with us and that was the first time i was living in the same roof with a newborn (relative). Every morning I would smell the warm scent of Cerelac. I know, strange. Its warm, milky, wheaty and strangely i associate it with home. Fast forward years later i got a child and when i introduced her to baby food, I gave her Cerelac and it brought back so many memories. Truly scents carry so much weight and memories. I have so many now, I can go on and on 🙂 Dads leather bag, my mums car would smell powdery...

Not a lot of dudes commenting but hey i'm a fan of Angel lately and she brought me here. Come to think of it my first fragrance was rather an interesting one. While in high school, I got myself a CK SHOCK .The scent was to die for , I still keep one laying around - best worn on cold days. How I discoverd the scent is just by smelling the free sample ones. Recently I discovered scents that you can purchase and hang in your car for dirt cheap ,like designer car fragrances tom ford, la vie est belle etc. I really wanna gift my mom the La Nuit Tresor by Lancome. We smelled it at Two Rivers mall and it blew her mind ( crossing my fingers ) She'd be stoked I kid you not.

That is premium content right there. Angel is always a Ball of energy. My first scent memory is quite interesting. It happened in high school. For some weird reason we'd really gravitate towards masculino scents. My dad scent was gorgio armani I think sport code. I loooooved it That he had to get me the deo. He couldn't understand why I loved it. I found very clean and fresh. Fast forward after high school My mum at the time loved girl of now elie saab I Looooooved it, so yeah ever since am inclined on it. However on my 18th birthday in uni my younger brother got me lavie so its very sentimental to me🤣🤣. Anyway, all in all that was a free premium session we had there. Good vibes, great insights, I hope all your viewers can now smell elastopast!!! Loved it

My first scent memory is from my childhood. My mum used to wear Red Rose. You know, the ones that would be sold mostly in eastleigh, in those small 3ml roll on bottles? 😅 I'd always sneak and apply some on myself when going to school lol. I'd also take the empty bottles and refill with water (little scientist 😂)and I'd keep reapplying throughout the day at school

My first scent memory is Miss.... They had this song that went like this " she's miss lalalalax2, she's so beautiful lalalala" I think the song made me want to have it...and my mum told me that kids don't wear perfume but then I insisted and she finally gave in and bought me....I loved it...it had this powdery and Rosey notes to it @Angellately's favorite notes... I miss it... too bad it was discontinued. I've enjoyed this collaboration... I'd like to see more of Cathy and Angel 👌

My first experience was MISS, in primary school . I wore it during KCPE for good vibes while doing the exams. I think it was a gift from my mom or my dad.

My first scent memory is my mom's lotion, Clere. Over the years her love for hygiene and smelling nice has rubbed off on me and to me that's the signal that I'm finally getting my *shift* together. And I LOVE IT!!! Scent, hygiene and body care is now proudly part of taking care of myself everyday thanks to my mom and also because Auntie Angel challenged us to be a sensory experience.😍😂

Great job guys. Its amazing seeing two lovely ladies havinga seat down to discuss something wonderful like fragrances. My memory dates back to my very special lady…mummy dearest loved yu…yolanda. They came in the old tin cans or tabs. Anytime I catch a whiff of any of the scents from that brand, i reminisce of the good old days with her. She was a blessing to my family. Forever in our hearts.

My first scent memory was a fragrance my high school principal used to wear, She always smelt like vanilla and biscuits😂 so yummy🤤 and the scent would fill the whole classroom! She was also so elegant and I always admired her. Unfortunately I have never smelt the fragrance on anyone else and I have never found out what fragrance she used, but I always remember it!☺️

My first fragrance memory would be that of Imperial Leather, the soap to be specific, my dad has been a loyal customer of the product, he used to use it after his workout sessions and the scented products like body lotion, solid brilliantine trickled down to the family.

This was very informative, thank you 💕. My first scent memory was Fa soap - that is the soap that was used at home growing up. And when I went off to university and had some little pocket money, I used to buy Fa deodorant spray - it smelt good and reminded me of home. Also Sta Soft - my mum’s clothes were always given a final rinse in the fabric softener- I loved to just smell her clothes, and till today I use Sta Soft for my beddings and the after scent takes me back to my childhood

    You two are phenomenal.
My first scent memory was when my mom brought home a Hello Magazine from a friend who had travelled, back in 1999. Hugo Boss had advertised two fragrances - male and female - on some pages. I rubbed the pour homme scent on my wrist and my classmates raved about it all day. I loved scents since then. When I grow up, I want to be like Angel. OK. Not quite "insane", just about 10 scents for me.

My first memory fragrance was rasasi blue lady deodorant spray that my mum really loooooved. She'd walk out of the house or a room and the scent would last for A long time. She had quite a number of bottles and my dad used to think she's obsessed with the product but he would still get more for her. I reminded her of that recently and she told me that the ones produced nowadays have been toned down and don't smell like before (not long lasting).

I was in high school but in form two and when form ones were being admitted, we got a new member in our cubical..... She could smell nice, one day after she went to the bathroom I had to sneak and check what she wore everyday, guess what it was Chris Adams Active woman..... My pocket money by then was 600/- I remember I saved the cash for me to report to school the next term with active woman...... I've always wanted to smell good, and generally body care.
