Ok so they come out of the side of the front cups and run inside the frame rails….close to the front cab mount there is a factory hole in the frame it comes out there and runs on top of the cab mounts under the cab
Hey guys just come across your channel and I'm doing the same thing on my 84 short bed S10 it also has the Iron Duke 4 speed just got all my bags and front and rear mounts and bucket's was on the fence about how I was going to do the rear 4 link or 2 link so I searched on TH-cam and saw your channel and it has been helpful and I believe I am just going to 2 link it. What State are you guys located if you don't mind me asking. I'm in KY Thanks for the ideas and keep up the good work.
@@lowerclassfab431 yeah I was just watching some of your old videos well there new to me because I just found you watching where you did your grandpa's truck still watching it but it's cool to see good people taking care of there family I've been a mechanic and fabricator for over 20 years worked at a few restoration shops owned my own business for a while and went through some rough personal stuff and moved away from my home town about 4 year's ago and I have no cliental down here I'm about 15 miles from the Tennessee line in Corbin KY now but I'm building a first Gen S10 on bag's and making it my shop truck going to letter it up and see if I can get some cliental built up because I don't know anyone and they don't know me and in a small town from what I've seen it's like if you're not from here they don't mess with you witch makes it harder but I'm passionate about what I do and I won't stop trying. I'm trying to get my truck done for the rod run they are have down here on the 22nd and 23rd I believe and think that would be a good place to get my name out there you know but anyway I like what you do and seems like you're a great dude I subscribed to your channel and will keep up with your builds. I'll try and send you some pics of my truck when I get it laid out it's got some old school slot mag's on it now fat and skinny but I got some 14 steelies that I'm trying to find the dog dish cap's for that aren't 100 miles away and $200 to $300 a set people be asking a arm and a leg for them I found a set of dog dish that came on the 68 to 72 nova that are killer and he's got like 200 of them but man they ain't cheap lol.
I haven’t but we have used the DJM arms and modified them to work with bags….Chandlers blue ranger has DJM arms and bags and he has daily driven that truck for over 2 years with zero issues

Great video, wouldn't it be necessary, re-weld the front part, where it joins with the cross member in front, where did you install the airbag?

Maybe if it had a 1000hp big block but that little 2.5 won’t stress it enough….it’s still welded a lot around area

No not yet….I just ordered everything to rebuild the steering and ball joints I’ll prolly do it when I install those parts

No sir I’m a logger Monday-Friday…..I just do the truck stuff at night and on the weekends

They are 18s….not sure on width I bought them used but if I had to guess I’d say 8 wides
