How were you able to work around the ink pump? I couldn't get any fluid to go inside the printer, the syringe just sprung back out to it's original position? I accidentally let go of the tube and the ink just sprayed everywhere
i have this printer and it's not feeding correctly i cleaned the roller already and i just bought new ink worth 80 bucks and the b***ch will not feed of will feed too many papper and will print on only half of the paper. Any tips?
This printer has a know issue with the "caps" on its control board. Its fixable but requires soldering components. That said, you may have clogs in the ink system from non use. If its not in your realm, to wish to spend the depth of time on it, plz sell it online. They have drawbacks but are worth every moment fixing em. One of the first CISS ink systems made, even though HP left it not refillable.
The fact they get SEVENTY-FIVE-DOLLARS for genuine 'HP' replacement ink cartridges for this thing really makes you question whether or not to just buy another printer :>\
