They never have any science to back up their opinion. Don’t get discouraged. Some people are so brainwashed, they will never get it. The unfortunate problem we arise when we actually look the data is that you quickly realize that plant agriculture is extremely unsustainable and is actually hurting the world. If you are vegan and shopping at your local grocery store you are 100% complicit in the so-called mass genocide referenced by many vegans. Lets juts look at the facts presented by the World health Organization and government subsides.
      1) According to the World health Organization Plant agriculture is responsible for 70% of all child labor. Why is it ok to enslave children for your plant-based products?
      2) According to the World health Organization Plant agriculture kills hundreds of millions of birds in the US alone due to pesticides. Why is it ok to poison and murder sentient animal that want to live just so you can have plant-based products?
      3) According to the World health Organization plant residues found of produce in grocery stores are level 1 carcinogens. Why is it ok to spray cancer (fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, oil) on plant-based products that you plan to feed to sentient beings?
      4) Plant agriculture is heavily subsided. In the US alone for 2018 plant agriculture will be subsided over 30 billion dollars (more then big oil); in the EU it will be over 82 billion dollars. Why is it ok to spend all this money on an industry that does the aforementioned?
I don't even know how vegans start to justify these atrocities.

Ask Yourself is another great vegan channel. He coined the "name the trait" argument. You may be familiar with it but, in case you aren't, the logic is as follows. Name the trait that's true of non human animals that, if it were true of humans, would justify needless human slaughter. After presenting the idea, we can go into examples. Animals are less intelligent, but we value the lives of severely intellectually disabled humans, therefore less intelligence isn't a valid reason for needlessly killing non human animals. Non human animals are another species, but if there was another species that had moral agency and didn't need to eat us to survive, it would be immoral to kill us, therefore it's immoral to kill non human animals just because they're another species. Non human animals taste good, but if..... You get the idea :)

hey joey! i am vegan and i have been for more than a year and a big part of me becoming vegan is thanks to you and other activist and all of the great work and patience that you guys put in to spreading this wonderful message. i absolutely do not want to come off rude or mean but i feel like your approach some times is pretty aggressive and strong and, as much as i know how hard it is to talk to stubborn people who still believe that eating the dead bodies of tortured animals is right, i think that if you had a more gentle and less critical approach you could send and transmit the vegan massage to many more people in a better way. again i really don’t want to sound critical or mean and i absolutely love what you do and i admire you so much!
    keep up the great work!😊

The question he asked about backyard hens is very important. Whereas it's not practical to him, since he gets eggs from the store, he was trying to understand the core ethics involved in using chickens for eggs, period (no pun intended). Hens are bred to produce more eggs than is healthy for their bodies and, when they're bought for a backyard farm, that breeding is being supported. The industry receiving the money is the same industry that's grinding up male layer chicks because they are seen as a useless commodity. Rescuing a hen is a great thing, but if someone only does so to get to the eggs, their focus isn't on the well-being of the hen as an individual.

Conscious Personal Growth , Yes, his facial expressions were a little odd but I don't think he was trolling....possibly he may have realized he was being filmed and/or that he was trying to subconsciously not deal with the conflict in his head (possibly cognitive dissonance).

French blue8 , I think the kid actually made good eye contact.....keep in mind that what is mostly off camera is a bunch of activists close by with monitors showing footage; it looks like the kid is mostly focusing on all that footage and intermittently on Joey....which is quite the normal, rational thing to do since the video footage is the main focus of this type of educational activism.

You know, as a vegan, I could never have the same patience as you have. I really admire it!
I always try to avoid telling people I am vegan just to avoid having to tell them why. I get so frustrated when answering all these “stupid” questions like “Where do you get your protein from?” or having to listen to ignorant comments like “You may be healthy now, but in a few years you’ll be drained of all your energy”. I hate it. I know that I myself am making a change in the world by being vegan but a lot of times it really hits me when I think about the fact that most people on earth still are brainwashed into eating animals products. I could cry everyday. It’s shocking to me how anyone could eat animals or even dairy and eggs ever again if they exactly know where it comes from. It pisses me off tbh.
