I’ve been watching about 18 months now, just up the road in Huddersfield. My sone got me onto watching Tom Pemberton now I watch your self Olly and Charlotte Ashley. You all seam so upbeat even though farming is so tuff at the moment, but when you all get together you are a right bunch

As a fisherman with some great contacts in the local farming community I can honestly say things have never been the same since they did away with the *River Boards* and created the EA! Typical big corporation, they just get bigger but less connected to the people! I'm glad to hear that your % feeling has gone up👍. And in the hopes a little humour might give that a boost I have to ask. Given that "Global warming" Rainfall & flooding is likely to happen again have you thought about diversifying and trying Water Buffalo 🤔😉. They would love those fields. 👍.

Red Tractor was started to define British standards produce from foreign lower standard imports with no traceability. What it’s done is given the supermarkets a lever to keep prices down with no benefit to anyone but themselves. 90% of housewives have no clue what it is, what it means or how to identify it and if you look at how big the identifying mark is, it does nothing to help marketing. The quality is there and the Red Tractor should be boldly marked on all packaging with a clear message as to why the housewife should look for it. Will it happen? Will it hell…….

But the cattle survived, waters down, your now on top of things again so, jobs a goodun as you'd say. Retired grain farmer now lives by the beach. 👍
Thanks for keeping us informed. Its so refreshing to see your enthusiasm despite the rubbish weather. Here in the Derbyshire Peaks it was absolute crazy with the run-off from fields unable to take any more drenching. We've had a deliberate attack on our weather all year from above so it's good to see you guys keeping going regardless.

There’s still some country left in Barnsley and water but the black cattle looked no worse for their ordeal I’m at the confluence of the Trent, Derwent and Erewash rivers with gravel pits scattered about so understand your difficulty.
Well at least you got the underneath of the tractor and trailer cleaned off after the boss tried to bring most of the field home. Those mirrors aren't really needed anyway Ben! 🤦
