Our Lady of Knock , Queen of Ireland, you gave hope to your people in a time of distress and comforted them in sorrow. You have inspired countless pilgrims to pray with confidence to your divine Son, remembering His promise, “Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find”. Help me to remember that we are all pilgrims on the road to Heaven. Fill me with love and concern for my brothers and sisters in Christ, especially those who live with me. Comfort me when I am sick, lonely or depressed. Teach me how to take part ever more reverently in the Holy Mass. Give me a greater love of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Pray for me now and at the end of my death. Amen.
Thank you for uploading this beautiful song! Some of our family emigrated to the United States from Ireland in the 1800's. My mom traveled to Ireland and visited Knock "Cnoc Mhuire" in County Mayo many years ago and she often speaks about her visit there. We first heard about "Our Lady of Knock" way back around 1970 when Father Vincent W. Walsh, MM gave a sermon on Knock at his weekly Miraculous Medal Devotions at St. Patrick Parish in Largo, Florida. I first heard this beautiful song by Frank Patterson back in the 1990's on WBVM radio in Tampa, Florida and I never heard the song again after that. It was a one time shot in that regard. I was thinking about the song a couple of days ago and, going to TH-cam, I found your upload and the song. Thanks again!

johnwoa Thanks very much for your comment. I am born and living in Mayo myself and this is a great version of this song.
This is the best version of this hymn I heard so far.
This hymn could not possibly sung more beautifully by anyone else today in my opinion.
