Its easy, but management was awful and the company itself doesnt care about you as an employee unless you plan to make a career there. I can’t imagine being denied water or other basic human right at my job now😂 It’s fine for a first job, but I’m so glad I got out
Im a assistant meat manager at a grocery store in Massachusetts, and planning to move to FL, Publix sounds like a really good place to work and start a new life and a career… I’m just wondering what’s the salary for a meat cutter in Publix? Thanks 🙏🏻
@@amandafaith3492 I worked there for 5 years and never got full time. Everyone loved working with me. I got promoted from bagger to cashier and under two years after that they stopped promoting me everyone wanted me to office staff but they never promoted there so I left and find a better job full time and the pay is like triple the pay.
I think I made around $13 per hour. Im at almost $16 now at starbucks, so its not wildly competitive. I cant say I recommend the job to be honest. I had some cool co-workers but the company as a whole wasn’t great to work for unless you were planning to go into management and make a life long career out of it. I wish you luck though!!
Honestly, really good job. People complain about it, because they can't function properly, though it's really easy, and its impossible to get fired!

I honestly hated working at Publix. They hardly trained me at the till and got mad when I didn’t know how to do something 😭😭
