I fitted one of those decat pipes on my dads scrambler, he didnt want obnoxious noise so we put stock silencers back on. Looks stock but has that classic brit bike noise 👌🏻
Looks amazing mate A question regarding the insulation behind the pipe. Is there any heat protection for the parts that are behind the pipe or there is no heat protection needed for those parts? I’m just wondering if the paint and stuff are going burn and melt Thinking of doing something similar on the new Scrambler 400 X
How would it sound if you if you used that header (which would delete the cat) with the std mufflers would it still be to quiet or give a throat sound ?😊
to me, the pre-fabricated header unit, is just like using headers on a car, truck etc., most people buy those instead of making their own,, so now worries and more power to you.
Always the way. I know im not posting as regular as I used to but im trying to make it about quality not quantity and I think TH-cam sees my lack of posting and bumps me down in the algorithm. Either way I hope you enjoyed the video! Currently working on a USA trip special as we speak!
agreed its loud, but in the right way. doing the tests indoors was a little silly of me as its just a giant echo chamber. But when out on the streets its honestly not that bad ( also read the description )
I used the “ fusion weld” method where you make sure the faces are a flush fit and used filler where needed. Some may say this isnt the correct method but I believe the best method is the one you are capable of. Im not very good at filler welding but i did what i can 😁 Hope this helps! Good luck with your welding journey 🤘
Duuuude that's perfection! Those finished shots are 🥵🥵🥵 Killer video!
Let's make some shots like this with your bikes dude!
Triumphs are just special in the best of ways. I adore my T120.
This guy is sooo talented 🥹
Looks so much better and sounds great

Great stuff! Currently building a 2023 Hunter 350 as a scrambler
Brilliant video mate! Well done
Amazing work - looks and sounds great!
Appreciate it dude! See you soon!
Looks good mate, well done on the work.
Awesome job jish. I reckon if you fiber glass wrapped the baffle it would chock the power.
You might be right my dude. I plan on having a play around with it to see if I can find the sweet spot
Awesome watching this, and remembering watching you build the CB125 on a crate in your home. Good Job Jish👌Looks Fire!!🔥
haha! things have come on a little bit since then! always humbling to see the beginnings as I had no idea then, what I would be doing now
Great design and build sounds awesome
Thank you my dude!
Nice, I would love to make one myself.
Go for it dude! a little time learning welding and you can make all sorts of things!
Hey man, excellent work on those pipes! Are you able to share some dimensions as I am looking to do the same. Length, pipe diameter etc. Cheers!
As usual amazing video! Keep it up man
Thanks buddy!
What are you welding with? Looks like a tig head, but I don't see you feeding any rod?
Great video Jish. I’m hoping to do something similar with my CB400T
Do it man!
That’s really great. I’m looking at a new exhaust for my scrambler with a bit of a meatier sound. Good job and it sounds fab 👍👍
looks amazing. take one minute and check what i did in my scrambler exhaust.
Hey! Love it - do you have a working link for the de-cat exhaust headers and how have you found them?
Looks amazing mate

Its a plastic unpainted part and its held up totally fine :)
thanks@@jishh
Look and sound really good💥💥💥💥
Thanks man!
Nice work 🙌
Big up
Great video .. How do you get on with headlight as in vision at night ..
Thanks! I wont lie, I haven't ridden it in the dark yet. This winter ill find out
How would it sound if you if you used that header (which would delete the cat) with the std mufflers would it still be to quiet or give a throat sound ?😊
Would love to see you chop the rear frame with a new loop and light and better bench seat :)
These are future plans for sure
Amazing technic and talent🎉
You are sickkkk🎉
最高にかっこいい!
When you change exhausts how do you ensure the back pressure to the engine is within tolerance?
I dont 😆 but the bike still performs well and sounds even better!

TH-cam notifications failing me. Subscribed to your channel with full notifications turned on and just randomly saw this 3 weeks later.

@jishh definitely enjoyed the video. If you come out to LA when you visit the US. Coffee on me at the Bike Shed one of the days if you're up for it.
@@FunWithAJ sounds awesome! Ill hold you to this offer 🤘
Niceeeeee🎉🎉🎉 what size of material you use!
What degree did ya cut your slash cuts at?
Brudda what an awesome video. I went the other way with mine…loud as poss! what’s the DB app cos I’m curious now
Literally called DB Meter 😂 and thank you dude 🙏
Very cool exhaust - when it comes to the looks 👍 but it's still a bit loud to - isn't it? 🤔
agreed its loud, but in the right way. doing the tests indoors was a little silly of me as its just a giant echo chamber. But when out on the streets its honestly not that bad ( also read the description )
Great work👍 sorry for noob question but you seem not to use filler Rods? I am learning some basics of TIG welding and it just cought my eye

@@jishh thanks :) my welding journey has only started, it is not east, but I am stuborn AF :)
@@tomek860 haha get at it man! You only learn by doing. You got this!
Do you have to tune it after?
Nope
maaate I'd love to pay for some custom pipes for my Street Twin 900 from you!
Very nice!!
Thanks!
It is going to get a little ear fatiguing on long rides, I bet you end up putting the fiberglass in around the baffles.
Not at all sir! Done some good miles and its been no burden at all 👍
@@jishhThats good to hear, it sounded really deep rumbly in the video.
Did you just cut the pipes?
Pipes were cut for sure. But i didnt just cut the pipes no. Did you watch the video? 😂
Love from Assam
love u 2 x
can you make one for me how much?
If you put slash exhaust on triumph. Don't you have to remap the ecu
Nope
🔥🔥🔥
Might be worth trying a pair of DB Killers before you resort to glass fibre?
What kind of DB killers do you mean? Im trying to keep a clean look with nothing visible sticking out the ends 😂
I am planning to retrofit a Triumph Scrambler 900 so that I can deliver bacon and keep it warm using the exhaust. Let’s talk
That sounds crazy and I love it! bikes and bacon
If I didn’t already get mine from British customs I’d ask you to make me some
What exhaust did you go for out of interest? they make some really cool style ones
@@jishh I just did their slashcut shotgun slip ons. Kept the original cat and headers. Sounds great and no need to tune
Music, music.....!!!!!
