It's the elite! They make money off of dividing us. As long as we are made to be victims, they are made to feel superior. Its reverse psychology. When we stop playing victim, we take control over our lives, and they lose reign. Strength comes in numbers, and they know that.

Thats not how the math works if it comes to movie revenue. The studio gets basically 50%. Huge studios even get 55%. The DW probably less, cause cinema chains bleed small studios, the same way Disney/Warner aso bleed the cinema chains. So at best they are at 2.75 Mio in revenue at the moment. And thats not accounting for marketing (most likely another 1.5 Mio at least). So if the movie reaches 10 mio, then it is surely a success for The DW. 9 mio is probably the break even point.

    • @cablenewsfanatic5634
      @cablenewsfanatic5634 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

@Smido83 Well once they saturate the US market as best they can, can they do a UK, IRE, AUS, EUR release? I am sure it would do well in those places too. What about the film festival circuit? Do you think any film festivals will pick it up?

Unfortunately, the race hustlers are not going away. This was written over 100 years ago by a former slave:
“There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs - partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.”
― written by Booker T. Washington in 1911

Went to see it, and when I talked to my coworkers about it, it was the most painful moment I had spend, I think I lost quite some friends. I m from Europe originally but been living in US for about 8 years. I watch EVERYTHING, really, I just go to theatre and watch everything. I didn't know Matt Walch, but I was surprise by that movie - I thought it was funny how he basically just let them speak, and how much money some people are doing on "anti-racism", the amount of money being scammed is what really shocked me the most. When I talked to my coworkers about it casually trying to recommend it, it was like I just had slaughter a baby in front of them, like i suddenly became a Nazi or some crazy thing like that, I was "brainwashed". I m now concerned to even mention that I've seen this movie, let alone try to recommend it. It's so weird, how in US (at least from my personal experience) people judge you or movie, or book etc... before to actually experience it themselves. I have now spent a good 2 hours online looking for review from "normal" people trying to find if I am indeed in the wrong here to have watched it. I think this movie will ultimately not be watched by the people who need to watch it the most.

If these co-workers truly think that way after you commented on a movie that you saw, and you had a fun time, that says more about your co-workers than you.
It shows that they're either a part of the group think, or they're secretly keeping their true thoughts to themselves to not face being shunned by weak individuals.

saw it Friday afternoon and I had a good time, I'm Latino and there was only 2 other people in the theater, granted it was friday and I went to an early show. I do like how Matt isn't actually trying to expose them by putting words in their mouth but rather he's letting them simply show the world what is being said behind closed doors in the workshops meant for only white people. A small nitpick is that I would have liked if Matt had more than just one outfit when he was on his journey it was a bit distracting seeing he only had that one the entire, well for the most part. I was laughing my ass off during the Subway scenes that was gold. Anyways I hope more people see it and not just assume it's racist without even seeing it which there's already articles coming out against it.

That’s the lesson I left with, that there isn’t anything to this movement except that it posits the elite academics as the experts who can take in money on this bullshit. Not on a curve, not if you turn your brain off, just geniunely decent. The important detail there is the "who have vowed to never see it"
People who can judge it without even seeing it in generally are not the most honest of individuals.
My only concern was that did Walsh let the experts speak their mind and not trying to put words in their mouth or dishonestly edit what they said, and all reviews I've listened seem to support that Walsh let people give their opinions without trying to guide them to say what he wanted them to say.

Hey brother. I appreciated your thoughts on this. Have you heard of Coleman Hughes?
As a white man, I (like you presumably) just noticed who people are rather than what they are. The other day someone yelled, “you white piece of s***!” when they drove past me. They definitely didn’t know me. I was just walking. The guy was Mexican (like almost everyone else here), but that doesn’t matter. There are plenty of incredible Mexicans; I married one! Score! Are there are intolerable Mexicans. Great white 🦈 and great blacks. There are cruel white and black and Asians. So WHY would anyone distinguish based off of race/color? It’s the least telling trait of a person. Granted, there are statistics, but generally, first impressions should be a more reserved form of yourself because not everyone is composed or to be trusted. First get to know someone, regardless of their race, then reveal more.
Ps. Consider doing a podcast! I do one. It’s a great way to share your thoughts. Once again, check out Coleman Hughes.

One thing I talked through with a friend is how I think many peoples racist experiences are not necessarily because someone is racist and hates or discriminates against another persons race, but because they are angry with an individual.
A this younger HS student I know was saying how he sees racism at school when people argue and someone calls someone else a slur.
I was like let’s think about this, if I’m angry and I call a fat person fat do I hate all fat people? No, I think a majority of times people are labeled racist when they are just angry at a person, now people shouldn’t react out of hatred or pride, but just food for thought when people are talking about racism.
Is this person actually a racist or are they just angry and chose to say something that they know will hurt my feelings.
Like being called a cracker doesn’t hurt me, so people don’t call me it lol.

Just saw the movie and even took my liberal brother, it was fucking hysterical.. we were both laughing, I mean, it's one of those where regardless of politics you can't not laugh at how bad these grifters embarass themselves, and the comedy was just top notch, haven't seen a Mockumentary like this that funny since Borat tbh. Definitely recommend anyone go see, we all need a good laugh like the good ol' South Park days. This is kinda one of those

I am old school traditionalist, Bible believing dude. Racism to me was always the stupidest thing for a conservative to be. Literally every human being came from the same two people so there is only one race with variants based on thousands of years of adaptation to different climates.
Why does melanin count mean anything? As far as i am concerned there are only two races: men and women.
Loved Am I Racist? Funniest comedy i have seen in a long time. Reminded me of growing up in the '80s. People of every shade and ethnicity poking fun at each other through stereotypes because we understood how stupid it was to make fun of others for being born with certain skin tones or physical features.

I personally have an aversion to people who adopt fake personas and are basically putting on a conditioned act to my face. Then accuse me of being racist because I don't want to listen to their conditioning as if I'm obligated to respect their brainwashing. So many people need to eat humble pie, drop the conditioning and just be themselves.

The main problem for this type of content in creating it is the higher the celebrity status, the harder it is to get people to be honest when speaking to the audience. I like your idea of a high-profile actor, but could you imagine Morgan Freeman asking you these questions. Normal people, no matter the race, would be starstruck.

Nice review man. I also really appreciate your perspective and experience on racism. You are right, and even Morgan Freeman said "Just stop talking about it (racism)." I am what most people would call an "old white man" (even though I act and get around like I am in my 20's) and I DO have black friends. When I mentioned this in a response to a comment on a TH-cam video, the response I got was "That's exactly what a racist would say." I replied back asking if THEY had and black friends, and if not, why? Are THEY racist? I also mentioned if I didn't have any black friends he would say of course I don't because I am racist. So I asked him to tell me how to NOT be racist. LOL....I never heard from him again.
I agree. Racism is perpetuated, erroneously, by people who seem to WANT there to be racism so that they have a "cause" to battle against. So that they can seem like noble people because they feel so strongly against racism. However, as many have said......there is more demand than supply of racism today. When I am with my black friends I don't think "I am with my black friends now." Of course not. I am just with my friends, and of course we're having a good time. That's why we're friends.

The people out there are finding anything to be racist or be offended by because if they didn't, they'd have nothing to do. They'd have to get a real job to support themselves.
The same thing has gone on with the groups who were founded on getting rights for people who are gay. They won years ago, but they still had a lot of money left over. They simply went to the next thing so they could keep it afloat. It's why we have the trans era. They had to fudge around with gender dysphoria to make it a bigger umbrella than it actually is.

@@carlosjuarez8761 But the idea that everyone is inherently sinful. Catholic guilt is a thing and the idea that there is specific places to confess your sins
They might not think of themselves to be heroes but they have constructed a system that allows a path to redemption (providing you believe in god)
How is that any different than a white person thinking they "owe" the world something for the sins of their ancestors? Anti-racism is the same constructed path and its compatible with atheism since you're seeking redemption from society
